I had a tankless water heater installed June 2016. Tyrone came over gave me an estimate and ultimately did the work. Nice guy easy to work with and decent installation. That's the positive.

On the original scheduled installation date, they canceled on me at 10 AM. Said the item was not at the warehouse. Doesn't anyone check inventory?

On the rescheduled installation day, waterheater went in fine. However the electrician who arrived evidently didn't want to do the work that day. Said he needed parts but when I pressed him, he never gave me a clear answer. I can tell you I have some experience in this area and the parts are basic electrical items that any electrician should have on his truck or could purchase at Home Depot 3 miles from my house. I.e., not specific to the equipment being installed.
So I took off a third day from work to let the electrician back to do his work. I confronted him again about why he claimed he needed parts and couldn't get them from local source and he still didn't answer my question.

I have requested at least on two separate occasions to speak with the manager or owner of this business. I would hope the owner would want to know how inefficient his business is running. Never received a phone call. I would not recommend them.

The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Run away from this rude unprofessional high priced company and get your work done elsewhere. I have been trying to speak with a manager for over two weeks now and they are always on a "service" call, a "vendor" call, or out of the office and are going to call me right back. I've never heard from them!

I purchased an entire heating and cooling system from Wilson Heating and air eight years ago. I had a top of the line system from American Standard installed and supposedly received a Ten year warranty, parts and labor included. It required a service contract taken out every year, which I did every year that they billed me or called me . Their idea of a service check is sending a very young, inexperienced kid to check your filters to see if they're clean or not. I can check my own filters and replace when dirty! Now I have a fan motor going out and they want $1200 parts and labor to fix it. Fan motor is not dependent on filter clean or not! No honoring their warranty and not worth the paper written on. Several other complaints on here with the same story. I will find a reputable company to replace the fan motor and will recommend that you find another company to do business with.

I've used Wilson Heating & Air for over 10 years, and for the most part, I have been satisfied with their service. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I can trust this company after my last dealing with them and will likely go with another company after my service agreement with them ends. As part of my annual service agreement, I had a tech come out for my seasonal check-up of my a/c unit. I was told that the a/c unit had a leak and a leak test needed to be done by another tech. The cost of this leak test would be $650. When I called the office to schedule an appointment for this test, I question the price and was told that this was a labor intensive process requiring two people. OK, so I scheduled the appointment. The following week another tech came out and told me that there was no leak and that he just need to add a leak sealant and refrigerant to the unit. From what I could tell, this was a job that only required one person. He also told me that the first tech was from the "plumbing side" of the business and was wrong in his assessment of the problem. But, I was still charged $650.

When I questioned this charge with the office, I was told that they did not do the leak test and performed other services (at the direction of someone from the office that was not onsite) that would have cost me more, but they only charged me $650. My trust in the competency of the first tech is questionable, and I don't feel comfortable with being charge $650 for about an hour's worth of work that amounted to the tech adding sealant and refrigerant to my outside unit. It's too bad, that after purchasing both a heating & cooling unit from them and 10 years worth of business, something like this that could have been resolved by a little empathy and giving me a break on the price, will ultimately sever my relationship with them.

This company installed the HVAC system in our home prior to our purchase and the prior owner bought a service contract which was transferrable to us. In January I had them come out to perform a service check. They sent a technician who looked barely out of high school who could not perform the check as he could not figure out how to access the unit, meaning, essentially no check was done at all! . I asked him to report that back to the office as I did not feel we got a complete service check. I never heard back from anyone following that visit.

This week I scheduled our spring AC check and specifically asked for an experienced tech due to the problems last go round. The tech that came out today was great, very professional, and indeed could access the unit. The filter was in desperate need of a change as it was not done at the last visit due to the incompetence of the tech. Now Wilson wants to charge me $70 to change the filter (which is supposed to be included in the service check - the cost of the filter). After explaining that the last tech did not check it, the company is still unwilling to change the filter unless I pay $70 for the filter. I offered to go purchase the filter (for approx $15) and have them come out another day to change it for me....No, they still want $70.

While the tech was great this go round, the customer service of Steve, the owner, is atrocious. He is willing to forego having us as a repeat customer over a $15 filter because he hires teenagers who are poorly trained an incompetent. If you do decide to use this company, ensure you get someone who knows what they are doing, because the owner will not make it right if they fail to do their job right the first time.

I called Wilson Heating & Air out for having no heat. The service tech looked at my heating system and stated that I needed a whole new unit totaling $7,800.00. Well I wanted a second opinion. So I called out another person and he did the same check and told me that it was only dirty contacts. He cleaned them and it is now working perfectly. He charged me $75.00 for the service call. So in a nut shell Wilson Heating & Air tried to sell me a unit I never needed !!!! These people are obviously totally dishonest and are only concerned with sealing your money. ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS COMPANY!

They sent a kid to look at my furnace. He said the safety switch had gone out, probably due to dust buildup, and that it was not available as a part. Also, the fan was not coming on because of carbon monoxide. Needed whole furnace replaced, unit typically $4,000, but his boss would let me have it for $3,400. I needed to think about it; he said the weather was going to turn bad tomorrow so I shouldn't wait too long. 2nd company recommended to me came out, fixed a loose wire, checked for carbon monoxide, cleaned the unit, all for $99. It's still working.

I called on Monday, they promised to be out Wednesday. I had to call when they did not show. They were 'slammed'. Could you not just call? I called another company. Never heard from Wilson's. How do people like this stay in business!

They were recommended via the Nextdoor app. I called last week, scheduled an appointment for this morning, 5.26.15, from 8-12. I called a couple of times to check on the progress of the service guy and was told I was on the list and the plumber would be in contact with me. No call. I called at 12.05 pm, and was immediately sent to voicemail. I wasted a half day off of work that I didn't really have the time for and my leak is still not fixed.

Do not ever use these people to fix anything for you. They deliberately tried to sell me an air handling system that I did not need. The service tech was so lazy that he didn't even bother to put the side panels back on outside AC unit.
