Had a major plumbing problem come up as I had some tree root damage. The whole process went smoothly from the initial evaluation to the actual repair. He ran a camera down and let me see for myself. He explained everything thoroughly and temporarily fixed the issue until I could get it repaired.

Dishonest company I believe to be thieves. So the employee arrives at our house sounding extremely ghetto using all sorts of weird lingo to describe his trip here. We welcome in this individual as courteous and polite people we are and excusing his appearance and the way he speaks because he has a will fix it uniform on. He comes in we give him a brief description of our central AC problem and immediately he starts to tell us different issues the AC could be having. He finally gets under the main central air unit inside of the house and says that the AC vent is clogged that we will need to replace it immediately or he can clean it for $2000. He goes outside and looks at the unit outside and says that several parts have to be replaced out there as well and that would run as another $400. He comes back in the house and starts telling us his war stories with little old helpless women that had the same. issues with their AC. He states that he once charged a gentleman $22,000 twice because his mother had several cats and their hair clogged up the AC. All I kept thinking was I would love to contact this gentleman and explain to him that I knew in my heart that this guy was lying and was a representative of a dishonest company and he took this customer and his mother for their money. I'll fix the problem by myself for under $30 and a little bit of elbow grease.

After posting a 1-star review and having a negative experience, Will Fix It called me the following morning, investigated what I was promised relative to what I was told when the tech got there, and they then pledged to make it right. I am pleased to say, they did exactly that. I will stop short of the full 5 stars because of the initial challenge but I have a lot of respect for them for owning up and honoring their advertised price! Thank you!

The fact that this company has a collection of 5 star reviews and an comparable collection of 1 star reviews probably says something about the experience of working with them.

They are a large company known for quick turnaround on service requests. Some of the people that they have working for them are excellent at what they do and provide a good quality of service.

But when things go bad with them, they go really bad. The problem seems to be with the warranty and guarantees that they provide on their work. Basically, if it gets fixed right the first time, that's great. If it doesn't get fixed or there is a subsequent issue with their work, they do not provide any concessions that they are at fault. From their view, it's just "unfortunate" that you had problems.

If you're looking for someone to come out quickly for a simple repair, then WillFixIt is a good company to work with. If you're wanting to work with a vendor that has an interest in getting your repeat business, then work with a smaller company that has long-term employees who take pride in their work.

Called Will Fix It to come help me get my garbage disposal reinstalled properly. They were very nice and professional, however the day the plumber was coming out he called to give me a quote over the phone... It was over $300 to complete this task. I told him never mind.

I asked him point blank if he thought that was a fair price, because it seemed outrageous to me... His response was that they are a big company so they can charge that much.

Take your plumbing needs else where and save yourself some money. I ended up getting this problem solved for $80 by a licensed plumber who is self employed. Shop small.

Called Fix It to come repair a leaking bathroom faucet in my San Antonio Rental Property. Plumber assessed the issue and I was tolled it was a 4-5 hr minimum repair job to fix it. The plumber was done in 2.5 hrs and still billed me for the 4-5 hr job he quoted over $900 (my tenant was kind enough to keep track of time arrival/completion). I feel as if i was taken advantage of being a out of state owner and not present. The price was exorbitant at almost $900 for a 2.5 hr job and the parts had to have cost no more that $50 (retail price, contractors most likely pay less at cost for these parts)!!! When i asked for a detailed explanation of the work that was completed the tech avoided to answer my questions via text and telling me the office would email me (which never happened) and the office which was notified of my concern said someone will call me to answer my questions and provide explanation or clarification to my invoice (I could not read what it said -illegible hand writing on the invoice i received via email), to which i have received NO call (4 weeks later still no call).It's hard enough being a out of state homeowner and having TRUST in your contractors is key. They failed in this department. If asked, I would NOT recommend this company as they have taken my money and left me in the dark!

only pros i can think of is receptionist is friendly (however she dropped the ball when i explained my concern to her she stated someone would call me back w/ explanation) and the tech showed up on time to the scheduled appt.

Had no idea I was speaking to someone in Houston to schedule an appointment. Apparently San Antonio never got EMAIL, how imcompetent is that!? After waiting 4 hours I called and Roxie said they overlooked email but could come in 2 hours, after I had already been waiting 4? Remembered why I hadn't used them since 2008, same incompetent office. If you call make sure it's a San Antonio rep. Rated 0, but I guess you have to click at least 1 star, NOT!
