This is a scam outfit. They claimed our 2 furnaces had failed with cracked heat exchangers. They threatened to shut down our furnaces. Even the manager used scare tactics, repeatedly saying our family was at risk. He then admitted hadn't even seen the technician's photos. The photos were time-stamped from a year and half ago and they weren't even from my furnace. I had a very reputable company come out and verify that my furnaces were in perfect health. My home is only 8 years old. Don't let them into your home.

We heard about Wickstrom from an ad we received in the mail. We asked them to complete a shower valve replacement for our elderly parents. After the job was done, and we saw how simple the project was, we questioned why it cost $2200 for a simple valve replacement which took less than two hours to replace. We requested an itemized receipt two times via email and received no reply. When my husband called today to again ask about receiving an itemized receipt, he was told that the valve itself cost $1800. We have again requested an itemized receipt with the part info and labor breakdown. We feel our parents were taken advantage of due to their age and will never use or recommend this company again.

This is a tough review because I would give the overall work of the plumbers 5 stars. The initial quote with Jake and the work done by Ben and Kevin was outstanding. They were professional throughout all interactions and did great work on installing my new gas lines. They're the only reason this isn't 1 star.

My biggest issue and why my review is so low and why I would be unlikely to use Wickstrom Plumbing again was the extremely poor communication and management from the office side of things.

At first, everything was smooth. They responded to my inquiry quickly, got Jake out and were very clear and precise with their estimate and how they would do the work. I decided to book with them because while they weren't the cheapest, I was pleased with their first impression and thought that would translate throughout the process.

I booked the work to be completed on August 21. Everything was set from the estimate as Jake included the parts needed and how they would do the work. I received a confirmation email after I hooked and a reminder of my upcoming appointment.

The day of, I received a call at 9am stating they wouldn't show up until that afternoon because they needed to do a parts assessment. Sounded strange since everything was set from the quote but I accepted the delay. I call again at 12 because I received no update and a different agent told me they would arrive at 3:30. 4pm nobody shows so I call and they tell me they'll be there in 30 minutes.

Finally I get a call from Jake that there was a mixup where the installers didn't have the parts list from the quote and that's why they didn't come out. They assured me they'd have some guys out the next day to finish the job.

Kevin and Ben came out Thursday the 22nd and as mentioned before did a fantastic job on the installation itself. They were fast and thorough with all of their work. The only disappointment was the city inspector wasn't available until Monday which further delayed my ability to use my new gas lines.

I was extremely disappointed with the added stress and frustration and would be hesitant to recommend or use Wickstrom plumbing in the future purely based on the mixups and lack of communication from the office team.

Ohmyohmyohmy. They are just superb. We had new furnace and a/c installed and they were perfectionists. And so pleasant. We had Jacob, Evan and Kaden and they were just wonderful. We have used Wickstrom for many, many years and they are always the best. Cannot say enough good things about them....and no, I'm not related to them!! :)

After speaking with Tip at Wickstom,
In regards to my 1st review, I am changing my rating to 5 stars. Due to an error, the technician made a mistake in presenting the 3 quotes for the repair and 2 optional service plans.
As passed Marketing Manager, whether purchasing a product or service, three conditions apply.
Product Quality, Customer Service and Price.
Therefore, the majority of the time a consumer will choose a balance of the three which all are equally important.
After my discussion with Tip, I have satisfied that balance of all three.

We had to have 50 feet of our service sewer line placed under the house. Colton, Brandon, Trent and Max were amazing. It was a nasty job, under the house. They were in and out in two days. It was raining outside. They covered their feet as they trooped into and out of the house and crawl space. We've used Wickstrom on several properties and have been very pleased with their work and all their employees.

Very shady practices, incredibly high charges and they send someone to bid the job who's job it is to just sell and ""yack it up"". Thought I could trust Google high reviews but that seems to be rigged too. Requested invoices multiple times. Less work was needed than original quote and no consideration given on reducing charges. Changed story on what was needed to be done. Will never use again, will never recommend. Buyer beware!

I want to start by telling you that this company is fabulous. I had the pleasure of working with Kyle, Evan and Andy. CBH homes seems to think that older ladies can get up on ladders to change the filters and their air conditioner. Wrong move. I had these wonderful guys come out and reinstall in the heater room. A filter that I would be able to change. I would like to say that they were absolutely wonderful explaining and making sure I understood everything. For you who think this company is not good, you have to remember the costs in this world have gone up greatly. Their insurance has gone up greatly. The trucks cost a lot of money. Not only that, the men that they hire are the most superior employees I've ever had to work with. I would give this company a 10 star rating for their excellent work and it's explanation of what they are doing.

Contacted Wickstrom to get a quote for fixing my two leaking hose bibbs, leaking shower, and two leaking bathroom faucets. I Wanted to to take care of these leaks that had been accumulating.

The $39 fee for the quote is basically for a sales pitch regarding having an annual ""Plumbing and HVAC Plan"". There was also a $5,000 quote for a water softener. The shower and bathroom faucets weren't leaking much at the time and didn't seem of interest to them. They wanted to replace the two silcocks (hose bibbs) on my 6 year old house for $1300 (in addition to a ""Plumbing and HVAC Plan""). I thought this was a bit extreme.

After asking around and looking at various YouTube videos, I was able to fix both my leaking hose bibbs with $20 worth of parts from Amazon and literally a few minutes of time.

While doing the estimate, there was a slight mishap that produced some minor damage. Wickstrom was very good at correcting the minor damage and everyone I dealt with was very nice. However, I was not impressed with their proposed solution for the hose bibbs. I do not plan to use Wickstrom for any plumbing or HVAC services.

Carson went well beyond a normal service call.
Our water heater was inspected and deemed kaput. He went out and replaced the old heater in the same day. Then we were having an iron smell coming from the master bathroom. He took a sample and went to the lab for analysis. After all that he proceeded to go into the crawl space and repair a heating duct which had collapsed. So greatly appreciate Wickstrom Plumbing..they do great work.
