Just moved here to Sudden Valley, WA and we were looking for a plumber to fix our shower drain. We had a local plumber for 20 years where we used to live. So, I felt it was going to be a challenge to find another good plumber. Fortunately, I found Ben of Whitelaw Plumbing through Yelp and was not disappointed with my choice. Ben quickly responded to my text and came out the same day to get my drain fixed. He is a very professional and honest guy who we will definitely use again for our plumbing needs. Highly recommend Ben at Whitelaw Plumbing. We initially called him to help us resolve a faucet leak on an antique pedestal sink at our rental house. He was able to quickly identify the problem and source the parts to fix rather replace. While there he noticed the expansion tank looked old and checked whether it was functioning properly without us even asking. Turns out it wasn't which, if left alone, could have resulted in burst pipes. We were so grateful. We have called on Ben a couple times since for other issues in our main home and he is always responsive, quick to solve the problem, and helpful as to how to avoid problems in the future. If you are looking for a super capable and honest plumber, you really can't go wrong with Ben and Whitelaw Plumbing.

Ben did a spectacular job on my super complex plumbing project. Added a new bathroom, altered plumbing in two bathrooms being remodeled as well as fixed my main sewer line and did a number of custom tweaks around the house. Not to mention his discriminative eye for exquisite detail........ he installed three unusual and rare high tank toilets in my house without a hitch. Ben was reliable, prompt, professional, kind to my dog and completely knocked it our if the park. I have zero reservations recommending Ben for any plumbing job regardless of complexity. The dude is a plumbing wizard!

Ben is the nicest, most honest professional. We had an issue with our water heater, but it was an electrical issue. He didn't want to waste our time or money, and spent time answering both our phone calls and emails to clarify my own questions. Can't recommend him enough! Ben of Whitelaw Plumbing is SOLID. He repaired a leaky bathroom pedestal sink drain, found just inside the wall above the crawlspace under the bathroom (so hard to reach and fix). His bid was 3 times (not exaggerating) lower than the other 3 bids I received. Everyone else was convinced the pedestal sink needed to be removed to access the space and Ben thought he could fix it without that extra costly step. And he did! And because it took him even less time than he projected, he charged me less than the estimate at the end. Unreal and much appreciated! And above all, Ben is a decent human being that's not only skilled, but also honest, efficient, and warm. He is our family plumber now.
