As licensed and insured Master Plumbers, Heating & Air Conditioning experts, and Fire & Sprinkler Specialists, We are a licensed Louisiana General Contractor, with active License No. 33722, originally issued in 1998. Our licensing encompasses building construction, municipal projects, public works, and specialty construction. Our business is accredited by the Better Business Bureau, which we take pride in.

Since 1966, White Star Commercial, Inc. has been delivering general contracting, design-build, construction program management, and building services. Rooted in southwest Louisiana, our legacy has grown into a second generation, emphasizing that “Quality comes First.” Originally named Lewis Plumbing & Heating, the founder was Joseph Walter Lewis, Sr. With seven sons, Mr. Lewis passed the leadership to Joseph Walter Lewis, Jr., who shifted the business to New Orleans in 1983.

Our motto is “On time, on budget, and value for money.” Our general contracting firm delivers numerous services, including residential and commercial carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler, electrical, and residential remodeling. We efficiently manage the development of foundations and structural rebuilds. We cultivate and strengthen relationships with clients, architects, engineers, building officials, and bank representatives. I manage and encourage teams of up to 10 in-house employees and multiple subcontractors. I manage daily operations, subcontractor agreements, quality assurance, job site coordination, and client meetings.
