We’ve been serving New Orleans and its surroundings for nearly two decades! We are licensed and insured as Master Plumbers, Heating & Air Conditioning professionals, and Fire & Sprinkler Specialists. White Star Commercial holds a Louisiana General Contractor license, active License No. 33722, first issued in 1998. We are licensed in various areas including building construction, municipal work, public works, and specialty construction. We are proud to be accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

Since 1966, White Star Commercial, Inc. has been delivering general contracting, design-build, construction program management, and building services. With deep roots in southwest Louisiana, our legacy has reached a second generation where “Quality comes First.” Initially known as Lewis Plumbing & Heating, our founder was Joseph Walter Lewis, Sr. With seven sons, Mr. Lewis passed the leadership to Joseph Walter Lewis, Jr., who shifted the business to New Orleans in 1983.

With a team of dedicated employees who prioritize superior service, we reflect management's trustworthiness and our commitment to integrity and honesty. At White Star Commercial, we maintain a 100% project completion rate, having never faced a bond default or call. Our motto is “On time, on budget, and value for money.” We run a general contracting firm offering a range of services such as residential and commercial carpentry, mechanical work, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, electrical services, and residential remodeling. Our team directs the efficient construction of foundations and structural rebuilds. We effectively manage and enhance relationships with clients, architects, engineers, building officials, and bank representatives. I supervise and motivate teams of up to 10 in-house employees and various subcontractors. I manage daily operations, subcontractor agreements, quality assurance, job site coordination, and client meetings.
