Serving New Orleans for almost two decades is our pride! We are licensed and insured as Master Plumbers, Heating & Air Conditioning professionals, and Fire & Sprinkler Specialists. We are a licensed Louisiana General Contractor, with active License No. 33722, originally issued in 1998. Our licensing encompasses building construction, municipal projects, public works, and specialty construction. Our business is accredited by the Better Business Bureau, which we take pride in.

Founded in 1966, White Star Commercial, Inc. provides general contracting, design-build services, construction program management, and building solutions. Rooted in southwest Louisiana, our legacy has grown into a second generation, emphasizing that “Quality comes First.” Initially known as Lewis Plumbing & Heating, our founder was Joseph Walter Lewis, Sr. With seven sons, Mr. Lewis passed the leadership to Joseph Walter Lewis, Jr., who shifted the business to New Orleans in 1983.

We efficiently manage the development of foundations and structural rebuilds. We build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, building officials, and bank representatives. I manage and encourage teams of up to 10 in-house employees and multiple subcontractors. I manage daily operations, subcontractor agreements, quality assurance, job site coordination, and client meetings.
