We’ve been serving New Orleans and its surroundings for almost two decades! We are licensed and insured as Master Plumbers, Heating & Air Conditioning professionals, and Fire & Sprinkler Specialists. We are a licensed Louisiana General Contractor, with active License No. 33722, originally issued in 1998. Our licensing encompasses building construction, municipal projects, public works, and specialty construction. Our business is accredited by the Better Business Bureau, which we take pride in.

Established in 1966, White Star Commercial, Inc. offers general contracting, design-build, construction program management, and building services. Our strong foundation in southwest Louisiana has allowed our legacy to extend to a second generation, where “Quality comes First.” We began as Lewis Plumbing & Heating, founded by Joseph Walter Lewis, Sr. Mr. Lewis had seven sons, and the company leadership transitioned to Joseph Walter Lewis, Jr., who relocated the business to New Orleans in 1983.

With a team of dedicated employees who prioritize superior service, we reflect management's trustworthiness and our commitment to integrity and honesty. White Star Commercial boasts a 100% project completion record, never experiencing a bond default or call. We live by the motto “On time, on budget, and value for money.” We run a general contracting firm offering a range of services such as residential and commercial carpentry, mechanical work, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, electrical services, and residential remodeling. We efficiently manage the development of foundations and structural rebuilds. We cultivate and strengthen relationships with clients, architects, engineers, building officials, and bank representatives. I manage and encourage teams of up to 10 in-house employees and multiple subcontractors. I manage daily operations, subcontractor agreements, quality assurance, job site coordination, and client meetings.
