I can not say enough about Paul G. and Whistle Plumbing. Paul and his team made it a great experience. They replaced all pipes pertaining to our leak from a drain in the kitchen sink and washing machine. Not only was the work done very well. But I was most impressed with the customer service and is attention to detail in following up with me constantly during the whole process. It was not only Paul but his team in general, when ever I had questions. Paul stands behind his work and any dialogue that is discussed. I recommend Paul for all your plumbing needs.

Got zero stars? What a rip off! Bad customer service and ownership. Don't use them.
Two guys came out and ripped out less than 5 feet of tubing. They charged us 50 feet. When We called the owner asking why we were being charged so much he started acting narcissistic and using reverse psychology. Like really? Also, they said a receipt will be emailed but never gave us anything. We never heard from them again.

Contacted them last month regarding an issue with a bathroom.
Spoke with Paul who immediately began to discuss an expensive (+300) charge just for evaluation. When I began asking him question about why he needed to examine the entire plumbing system, rather than just the local problem in the bathroom, he became abrasive, condescending and rude and said ""well, I'm the plumber, not you!""
I told him that he was rude and that ""I am the customer and need to know why you are charging me so much"", he didn't explain, said he didn't need this and hung up.

Plenty of other good plumbers in the city without dealing with the poor customer service and rude behavior.

Called Whistle Plumbing around midday (Tromborg Royal wasn't answering their phone).
Paul Gutierrez did answer the phone, emailed an estimate and appointment reminder, came the next morning and fixed our leak. Very knowledgeable, professional, and a nice guy to boot.

Paul is honest, straight forward, and quick to respond. My water heater was leaking and nearing it useful life. Paul gave a fair estimate for a water heater and also a fair estimate for a tankless water heater. He was by far the fairest of the 3 estimate I got for either new water heater or tankless. He explained thoroughly and we decide to go with standard water heater. We schedule for two days later on a Saturday morning. He was promptly on time and finished within two hours. Now my water is running nice and hot! I would definitely recommend Paul of Whistle Plumbing to friends and neighbors.

Paul recently installed a new electric water heater in our home. The unit he recommended is a very good one and I can monitor it via a phone app. The install took less time than expected and was very well done. Paul made sure the area was clean afterwards and he was courteous and professional. He took the time to answer all my questions and gave me a quick tutorial on how to work the display that comes with the heater. I'm very happy with the service he provided and would call him again with any plumbing issues.

I called them on Dec 18th to have them fix an irrigation line that was leaking, they charged me an hour's worth of work when it should have been prorated to 30 mins. My net cost was $289 minus a $28 discount equals $261 for that job. They were quick and fixed it in one visit. Warranty on this job is for 90 days.
Next day (dec 19th) I call them for a separate issue, also a leak. I guess water didn't like me these two days. Anyway, this a more elaborate job, and it takes them 1hr so I pay $289-$28 equals $261. Warranty for this job is for 30 days.
Jan 5th is here and the second job they completed is leaking again, so I call them, this time Paul the professional comes and determines the original fix needs some additional fixing. He fixes it and then says the warranty is void and to please pay them $989 if I want them to come back to fix this leak permanently as they can't warrant this temporary correction.
Now, I'm leaking money. I say try someone else first.

High quality service at a reasonable cost.
I called Whistle on a Sunday morning about a clogged sewer - in my mind, a real emergency. Paul and his helper came within a few hours. They explained very thoroughly the steps they would take to determine if my problem was a simple clear-out or more complicated, even giving me a verbal estimate of the cost difference. They ended up having to remove a toilet to clear my issue. They showed me video of the clog, what they needed to do to clear it, and gave me several helpful recommendations on how to avoid the problem in the future. I was also impressed with the care they took when removing the toilet and using their equipment, insuring they didn't damage my hardwood floors and bathroom tile. It was refreshing to get high quality service at a very reasonable cost when I was in an urgent situation with few options.

Whistle Plumbing was very prompt in response to our reaching out via yelp. They schedule the inspection the same week. They were on time for the appointment window, easy going, and addressed the problem without upselling. Very honest. They dealt with my issue to stop the water leak from my shower without charging extra beyond the inspection fee. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent!! Paul fixed our hot water heater affordably, in minutes, and the same morning I called, saving us from replacing an otherwise good heater that nobody else seemed to have parts for. (Whistle does authorized service for American Standard Water Heaters, a brand that is not very standard at all in these parts).
