Called them up this morning because the cabinet under the sink was drenched. We got a time set up and they were very accommodating. Then the guy asked me to give him a little more detail on the problem with the sink. After describing it, he asked me to go over to the sink pull out the hose extension from the top and tighten it up. I did that and the sink was fixed. So rather than spending my day waiting for a plumber to come fix stuff, he just fixed told me how to fix it over the phone.

I called back to thank him and he told me I was hired as a plumber! While I'm not sure I'm employable as a plumber, I am sure that the guys over at Whistle are awesome.

I had a great experience with this company. I needed my water heater replaced and they were able to quote me on the spot and their pricing was very competitive. If you mention that you found them on Yelp they will give you a nice discount. They were able to replace my water that day. After installing the water heater there was a minor issue that needed to be addressed because my wife was not happy about it and Tom was able to address the issue even though it required more work. He understood that happy wife = happy life. Tom was great and he is very experienced. I would definitely recommend this company... Especially Tom. Great job!

Wow. Guy comes, fixes drainage problem in 30 minutes and charges me $178, 0 new parts required. $178/hr, minimum one hour.
Did they get the job done? Yes. Was it worth $178? No. Could I find someone cheaper to do the job? Probably.
Long story short, if you want to get ripped off on plumbing services, come here!

Would not recommend to friends, strangers, nor enemies for that matter.

I called Whistle Plumbing for work on old leaky bathtub pipes and Paul Gutierrez, the Owner, was very calm and carefully inspected the problem. He and his team, particularly, Tanu Ropati, repaired several pipes and fixed all leaks and did a great job. I will definitely recommend them again. Their prices were very affordable and most of all the work was professional. You won't regret hiring them. Thank you!

We had a busted water heater. Every plumbing company in the area said that it would be a few days before they could even check it out and a few weeks if they needed to replace it. Whistle sent someone over within an hour of me calling them. They got to work replacing the water heater that same day. Four hours later and the water heater was replaced. Not only that, but they also called in an emergency restoration company to get started on assessing the damage the burst water heater did to our floors and walls.

Whistle will be my first choice for my next plumbing emergency.

This is my first post on yelp as I've never been more inclined to contribute due to a very positive experience. We had raw sewage coming out of our office lawn. I found Whistle Plumbing on yelp and spoke to Paul (owner). Within an hour, Tom (technician) came out, gave a quick estimate (reasonably priced), and got the job done. Tom's a funny guy but more importantly, definitely knows what he's doing. Thanks Whistle Plumbing!

Tom Wong is the best! I wish I knew about Whistle Plumbing sooner, because I got the runaround from a different plumbing company that flaked on scheduling my appointment and lost my business.

Tom came out immediately as my apartment had some trouble with the shower hot water pressure in a multi-unit building. Turns out the pipes were old, leaky, and needed to be replaced. Rather than thinking of a short-term solution that would cost me more money and time in the long-run, he thought of a long-term solution that would 1) let me shut-off the water to my unit directly vs. having to schedule a water shut-off to my whole building as he knew I wanted to renovate my bathroom in a year and 2) access the pipes more easily in case any future issues occurred. He cut through some sheet rock to install a small door outside of my apartment to access the pipes and did some welding to ensure that the pipes would not leak. With 20 years of experience under his belt, Tom is extremely knowledgeable and there's no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't have gotten the same great result with another plumber than I did with Tom.

My shower works great and really appreciate his help!

Had a situation in December when tenants called that the hot water is not working. Contacted a few places and when I mentioned that the hot water heater was purchased less than 2 years ago, they were too busy to come out, had to wait at least 2 days. 2 days without hot water is not an option especially when there are young children. What to do??? So glad to find Whistle Plumbing on Yelp! They were called and came out within 1/2 hour. The problem was not the hot water heater but water in the basement from the rain causing the pilot light to go out. The plumber used the vac to removed the water, turned the pilot light on and made recommendation to put in a sump pump.

2 days later, it rained and at 9PM, no hot water again. We were able to remove the water but could not relight the pilot light so we called Whistle Plumbing once again. This time Paul came, re-lit the pilot light. Since he has contractor experience, he made a recommendation to water proof the house. It is comforting to have someone to check out the situation and let us know the problem can be solved.

The plumbers at Whistle Plumbing are friendly, knowledgeable, professional and honest. Their service is quick and the price is very reasonable too. Thank you Paul!

i called them in the morning and the plumber was able to come in about an hour later.

they fixed our kitchen sink and garbage disposal issue and was very curteous and professional. they were very helpful in describing the issues and answering questions as well.

i would definitely call them again for our next plumbing needs.

Whistle plumbing is the best. They came out in a flash and replaced may leaking toilet the same day I called. Their price for the toilet was within 10% of the warehouse price and that was delivered. The plumber was quick and efficient and used a plastic bag to carry the toilet out... not a drop on my carpet.
