I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!
So our air conditioner was not working properly last Friday and the pipes iced up. After some yelp research, I stumble across Western. Noticing they are from Lakewood I was hoping I can get a same day appointment. Well, of course not. Actually I had a hard time reaching them, so I finally messaged them on yelp and I got a call back within an hour!
So I got my appointment for Monday. Frank was our technician, he is very punctual, knowledgeable and professional. He never tried to up-sell us any maintenance, cleaning, repair or replacement which we were worried about working with a new company. A lot of HVAC companies would try to tell you everything is wrong with your HVAC unit but not Western! Frank even educated us on what to do if it happens again and gave us some tips to properly maintain the unit better. I cannot be more happy to spend this $95 for a HVAC check!!

Super nice people on the phone. Frankie the technician was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He discovered a problem from work done by another company, so we're waiting to see if that other company will fix the problem. In any case, the business card for Western is going up on my fridge as our go-to place for a/c, heating,plumbing

It was 54 degrees inside our house and had been that cold day and colder at night for many days. Our home insurance company sent out one of their repair companies to evaluate the problem. The man told us that it was a faulty part on the gas furnace, and an electrical problem caused by rats chewing and pulling on the wires. He said that they were both a fire hazard. Next we hear from the company that insurance does not cover rats. This company offered to make the needed repairs. We told them no thank you. At this point we looked for another company. We ran across the Yelp reviews on Western. We called and they called back and were able to come the next day. Rick arrived right on time. He spent time looking at the furnace. He said, the furnace needed a new part or ""kit"", but that the wires were all fine, and no sign of recent rodent activity at all. We agreed to have Rick install the ""kit"". Normally he carries several on his truck, but two other customers had beaten me to the parts. Rats! (Pun intended-humor is a great way to go through life.). He went to pick up the kit and returned within the time he said he would return. He made the repairs and it has worked better than before since. I have a high standard for businesses providing services to customers - good customer service is so lacking in most businesses.
My standards were not only met, but exceeded by Western, Rick (the repairman/owner) and his wife in the office Valerie - their son-in-law also works for them. Rick and Valerie were so wonderful to work with I almost - almost forgot I was paying them. Both were personable and professional.
This family-owned and operated business deserves your business, and I highly recommend them. Very happy customer. Thanks, Valarie and Rick.

I really wanted to like this place and have them become our regular go-to guys because we like to support local Lakewood businesses and Yelp customers recommended them.

Valerie took my call on Thursday, 10/27/16. I was happy to get a next day appointment window of 2-4:30pm. I have a floor furnace that needs inspecting, repair, and lit for the upcoming winter. Valerie even asked if I found them on Yelp. I cleared my Friday afternoon and did some gardening while waiting for someone from Western. 5-5:30pm rolls around. I lost track of time. Western was a no show, no call. No follow-up from Valerie or anyone else from the company. Disappointing.

I have used Rick before. He is great! This time Frank Glover fixed my air conditioner. He is great, too! Frank explained everything he was fixing...why and how. It was fascinating! He has a great personality and really went beyond the call of duty. I trust both of them!!

Very happy with the service! My furnace stopped working in the middle of a very cold spell. Called several companies and came across Western on Yelp. They were able to come the next day. He diagnosed the problem (transformer blew out and needed replacement), replaced it, checked everything over and charged me under $300 which I believe is reasonable. Their diagnosis fee was a little higher than some companies but it was put towards the cost of the service which was totally reasonable. Heater is working great. I would use again for sure. I like that they are a small family owned business. Happy customer.

I had Rick and the crew replace the heating/AC ducting in my attic. They showed up on time and gave me a good price. They really did a nice job and obviously take pride in their work. That's very important to me to have confidence in someone to do the job right. I would definitely have them back to do other jobs in my house.
