Our team is well-versed in energy-efficient and green technologies, like wall-hung boilers and instant water heaters. We perform conversion burner installations for converting oil systems to natural or LP gas and work on all types of traditional boilers, including steam systems.

We provide winterization and de-winterization services for homes, and we specialize in diagnosing and repairing frozen water lines. If it has pipes, we can work on it! We employ cutting-edge technology to guarantee your project is done right the first time.

Gary, our owner, has 35+ years of experience in plumbing, with more than 12 years as a master plumber. Gary has been involved in diverse plumbing projects, including everything from nuclear power plants to the Marriott and Sheraton hotels in Springfield, MA. He has also tackled projects like pet hotels in Connecticut. Tim, his son, has been involved with Welch Plumbing since the beginning. We have completed plumbing work in hundreds of houses and can fix anything from tiny leaks to large water main bursts.

We are committed to buying local, to keep your dollars circulating in the local economy. We also offer a no-cost warranty on labor, a service that many competitors do not extend. The Welch team consists of father and son, Gary and Tim, both holding licenses in the state of Massachusetts. Typically, they are the only two employees, but we have brought on additional help for larger projects. Rest assured, the person you talk to this week will be here next year.

Having been in plumbing for over 35 years, Gary has trained countless apprentices, many of whom now work for themselves or larger firms. No task is too large or too minor, and Gary has expertise in every aspect of plumbing. Gary's journey began in a plumbing supply house during his teenage years, working his way up to projects like nuclear power plants and commercial buildings.
