We specialize in new builds, covering everything from large apartment buildings to small additions on your home, and all types of plumbing repair services.

We are knowledgeable about new energy-saving and environmentally friendly systems, like wall-hung boilers and instant water heaters. We handle conversion burners to convert oil heating systems to natural or LP gas and work on all types of traditional boilers, including classic steam boilers.

We winterize and de-winterize homes, along with diagnosing and repairing frozen water lines. If it has plumbing, we can fix it! We use the newest tools and techniques to guarantee your project is done right the first time.

The owner, Gary, brings more than 35 years of plumbing expertise, and has been a master plumber for over 12 years. He has worked on a variety of projects, including everything from nuclear power plants to the Marriott and Sheraton hotels in Springfield, MA. He has even worked on pet hotels in Connecticut. Tim has also contributed to Welch Plumbing since the business started. We have completed plumbing work in hundreds of houses and can address everything from minor leaks to major water main breaks.

We are committed to buying local, ensuring your money stays within the community. We have a no-cost warranty on our labor, a service that many competitors do not extend. The Welch team consists of father and son, Gary and Tim, both licensed in Massachusetts. Most of the time, they are the sole employees, though we have hired extra hands for bigger jobs. Gary has over 35 years of plumbing experience and has mentored numerous apprentices, some of whom now work independently or for larger companies. No job is too big or too small, and Gary has expertise in every aspect of plumbing. He began his career in a plumbing supply house as a teenager, and has worked on everything from nuclear power plants to cinemas and malls.
