Company Overview

WaterWork Plumbing began its journey in 2006 with a single vehicle. Over the years, our steady growth has enabled us to expand our fleet to sixteen fully-equipped trucks. Our knowledgeable staff is equipped to handle any plumbing issue you may have in the Metro Detroit vicinity. We understand the urgency of emergency plumbing situations, which is why our qualified professionals are available 24/7. Our team handles emergency repairs and offers quick replacements and effective installations at residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Regular training for our staff keeps us updated on the latest plumbing technologies and ensures we use top-notch tools and methods for quality outcomes.

Initially, master plumber David Greylen launched WaterWork as a side project in 2006. Eventually, a pivotal decision had to be made. David realized he could not maintain his previous job and manage the explosive growth of WaterWork. With determination and hard work, David took a leap of faith, and WaterWork has flourished into a successful business. We now have a team of 21 and are planning for further growth. While we focus on providing excellent service and craftsmanship, we also strive to be a strong presence in our community for the long term. We possess the capacity to handle any plumbing need while maintaining a personal touch that reflects the service we would want for ourselves.

I appreciate your interest. I’m David, a Master Plumber with a license and over two decades of experience. I truly enjoy delivering tailored customer service to each client. It is a privilege to be welcomed into people's homes and businesses. Nothing makes me happier than knowing our work can enhance your day.

Great experience. I needed a new water heater. They arrived about an hour after I called them and finished in a couple of hours. They cleaned up so well that you'd never know they were there. My former plumber retired so I was a little nervous about a new one but I'm happy to say that they are my new plumbers.

Wow!!! Had a toilet related leak. Called 8:45 to request service. Don arrived at 10:20. Swapped out the old toilet, put in a new one, job finished by 11:10.

Don told me the wax seal that came with the toilet was a good one, but he had brought along one just in case but didn;t need to use it so he didn't have to charge me for it.

Don was efficient, polite, courteous and totally professional. An outstanding service experience.

Hired them to install a dishwasher guy moved so slow... Took 2 hours! The old one was already taken out. All the plumbing was already in place. He just replaced the hose and leveled it. Rip off. $300 later..

Gave them a second chance to replace a tub faucet. Guy asked if I could try to find an O ring and replace it myself to correct the leak. Said otherwise it would take him 3 hours to install the new faucet and two handles I supplied to him. Made it sound easy. I got the ring replaced it and the diverter stick still leaked. It didn't even need the diverter function! Cost $150 for absolutely nothing.

Called them back he was gone for the day and they wanted to charge me to send someone else out!

Hired another plumber he came in and replaced the faucet and handles in under an hour. WTF waterwork you suck.

I needed my drain snaked for routine maintenance. The plumber came out, snaked for 2 hours and told me he had reached the city sewer line. Two days later an inspector came out to take a scope to the sewer line as part of his regular inspection. The video showed that my line had actually not been cleared to the city at all and still had roots. I paid $330 for the plumber to not fulfill his duty as per our contract that I had signed.

I reached out to WaterWork and offered to share with them the video and was met with an indignant saleswoman who ultimately told me that they would come back out for an extra $500 to fulfill the work. When I told them this was unacceptable as I had already paid for the work which wasn't performed, I was promptly hung up on.

Extremely poor customer service, argumentative and unwilling to fulfill what they promised in the contract I signed. Refused to even look at the video evidence of their inability to perform and would not offer a refund to take my services else ware. Basically stole $330 and left me to find another more reputable company. I will never be using this company again.

It takes less than 10 minutes for these guys to get back to you for your Yelp request. However, if you are not happy with the work done (in my case, nothing was done), they never get back to you. The problem with my water heater (it takes a long time to get hot water out of the faucet) was well described online and by me verbally when the appointment was scheduled. When the technician showed up he did not know what the issue is and asked me when the water heater stopped working and if it is still under the warranty. When I described the issue, he stated that nothing can be done, charged me $95 for the service call, and left. I called the company and spoke with their scheduler. She said that the technician has to come to the house to diagnose the problem. No tests, checks, etc. were done. The technician came to collect $95.00. They could of tell me over the phone that they can not help, but I guess it is easy money. The scheduler also stated that they do not care about bad reviews online because they have thousands of good reviews. The bottom line: Do not trust these guys. They would be happy to collect just the service fee, spend 5 minutes in your home, and leave. To the business owner: Feel free to call me, you have my number. Update and the response to the business owner David G. 10/15/20 1. *At no time did anyone tell this person that we do not care about reviews* Not true- your receptionist/scheduler Shannon did exactly that. You were not part of the conversation 2. *While it is unfortunate that this yelper feels the need to throw mud, it is very much a one-sided retelling of our experience of working together* It seems to be the style of the business owner to personally attack the reviewers who post the negative comments. I am new to Yelp and this is my first review here, but a vast majority of the reviews which I left on other platforms are positive. It tells me a lot about the corporate culture, where the owner leads by example. BTW - he never returned my call. 3. *We can assure you the reader that we did everything possible to ensure a positive service experience for this homeowner*. I would love to hear what *everything possible* was. My experience was really bad.

I've had to use Waterworks a few times for clogs and broken pipes. Each time I was able to get an appointment the day I needed help. Service was prompt, pricing is fair, and the plumbers have all done good work. I highly recommend them.
