Company Overview

WaterWork Plumbing was established in 2006, operating with only one truck. Since then, our consistent growth has allowed us to add sixteen more fully-equipped vehicles. Our knowledgeable staff is equipped to handle any plumbing issue you may have in the Metro Detroit vicinity. We understand the urgency of emergency plumbing situations, which is why our qualified professionals are available 24/7. We address urgent repairs and provide prompt replacements and efficient installations for commercial, industrial, and residential properties. Continuous education for our staff ensures we are well-versed in the latest plumbing advancements and that we employ the finest tools and practices for superior quality.

What started as a side venture for master plumber David Greylen in 2006. Eventually, a pivotal decision had to be made. David could no longer balance his job with his previous employer while managing the rapid growth of WaterWork. Taking a leap of faith, and through hard work and determination, WaterWork has blossomed into a thriving company. We currently employ 21 people and have plans for additional growth. In addition to delivering quality service and craftsmanship, we aspire to be community pillars for years to come. We are large enough to manage any plumbing requirement but small enough to ensure you receive the personal service we would expect for ourselves.

I appreciate your interest. My name is David, and I am a licensed Master Plumber with over 20 years of experience. Providing individualized customer service is something I genuinely enjoy. Being invited into your home or business is a true privilege. Nothing makes me happier than knowing our work can enhance your day.

I needed my drain snaked for routine maintenance. The plumber came out, snaked for 2 hours and told me he had reached the city sewer line. Two days later an inspector came out to take a scope to the sewer line as part of his regular inspection. The video showed that my line had actually not been cleared to the city at all and still had roots. I paid $330 for the plumber to not fulfill his duty as per our contract that I had signed.

I reached out to WaterWork and offered to share with them the video and was met with an indignant saleswoman who ultimately told me that they would come back out for an extra $500 to fulfill the work. When I told them this was unacceptable as I had already paid for the work which wasn't performed, I was promptly hung up on.

Extremely poor customer service, argumentative and unwilling to fulfill what they promised in the contract I signed. Refused to even look at the video evidence of their inability to perform and would not offer a refund to take my services else ware. Basically stole $330 and left me to find another more reputable company. I will never be using this company again.

It takes less than 10 minutes for these guys to get back to you for your Yelp request. However, if you are not happy with the work done (in my case, nothing was done), they never get back to you. The problem with my water heater (it takes a long time to get hot water out of the faucet) was well described online and by me verbally when the appointment was scheduled. When the technician showed up he did not know what the issue is and asked me when the water heater stopped working and if it is still under the warranty. When I described the issue, he stated that nothing can be done, charged me $95 for the service call, and left. I called the company and spoke with their scheduler. She said that the technician has to come to the house to diagnose the problem. No tests, checks, etc. were done. The technician came to collect $95.00. They could of tell me over the phone that they can not help, but I guess it is easy money. The scheduler also stated that they do not care about bad reviews online because they have thousands of good reviews. The bottom line: Do not trust these guys. They would be happy to collect just the service fee, spend 5 minutes in your home, and leave. To the business owner: Feel free to call me, you have my number. Update and the response to the business owner David G. 10/15/20 1. *At no time did anyone tell this person that we do not care about reviews* Not true- your receptionist/scheduler Shannon did exactly that. You were not part of the conversation 2. *While it is unfortunate that this yelper feels the need to throw mud, it is very much a one-sided retelling of our experience of working together* It seems to be the style of the business owner to personally attack the reviewers who post the negative comments. I am new to Yelp and this is my first review here, but a vast majority of the reviews which I left on other platforms are positive. It tells me a lot about the corporate culture, where the owner leads by example. BTW - he never returned my call. 3. *We can assure you the reader that we did everything possible to ensure a positive service experience for this homeowner*. I would love to hear what *everything possible* was. My experience was really bad.

I've had to use Waterworks a few times for clogs and broken pipes. Each time I was able to get an appointment the day I needed help. Service was prompt, pricing is fair, and the plumbers have all done good work. I highly recommend them.

They were a real help! We just moved into a new house and started experiencing annoying toilet issues-slow to no flushes and some backups. I called on a Monday at 9 am and they had somebody at my house by 1. His name was Chris, and he was excellent. He found the problem, explained his plan before fixing, and then showed us his work and gave us some tips to prevent future damage. Very well priced too!

I had an emergency issue where the water had to be turned off at the street by the city over night.
I contacted WaterWork via Yelp chat and they responded right away. I had a plumber at my home within 45 minutes.
Don was great. Informative, professional, and reassured me that the issue wasn't as scary as I thought it was.
From the time I called to the time Don left, it was less than 2 1/2 hours. Amazing!
He had it fixed very quickly. He is a great representative of WaterWork, and I would not hesitate to call them again.

I needed a plumber to install a gas hookup for my dryer, and WaterWork was able to have someone come out the next business day. After looking at the job and estimating cost and time, he was able to complete the work in less than two hours on the same day, and under my budget. The service is top notch, and I am thankful that I no longer need to guess about who can help when I have plumbing needs in the future. This first time home buyer couldn't be happier -- thank you!

These people are AWFUL. My 80 year old father had a leak under the kitchen sink that was leaking straight through to the basement so it needed to be dealt with immediately. The woman he booked the appointment with ASSURED him that the plumber would be coming with all necessary parts to fix the leak. The plumber arrived and not only did not have the parts, told my father that he had to go and get the parts! I can't believe they would send a senior out to run around town looking for a part he would have no idea how to even find! On top of that, the guy walked away with a $95 ""service"" charge (for basically doing NOTHING). What a SCAM. People who deal with SENIORS in this way are SHAMEFUL!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM ON ANY LEVEL
