Wow Great service and Brad did a great install of the new water heater.
All done and in 8 hours from when I called. WHO will do all our water heaters from now on. Forgot also a great price.

If you need a quick response they definitely win in that department. I was not happy with the price $200 increase when I decided to use them again for an identical job in another one my units within a year. Price increase on parts/the job requires more work...I assumed repeat customer business would be considered

Hi, I meant to update my review sooner. Though i was originally disappointed, i did receive a call back from the manager. He was very courteous and apologetic and I found that incredibly refreshing. Again it's a service industry and especially in these tough economic times, i think it's important to not be so rigid in a company's policies (except of course for health). They offered to work with me and i was pleased with their proposal, however by this point i had hired a contractor who had previously done some work for me. But had he not been available, i would have used Water Heaters Only. After a very lengthy conversation, i was educated in water heaters (tankless and not) and felt like i really understood which would be better for my needs. Thanks

UPDATE:

Manager David called me this morning to discuss my review. He explained that when he investigated my case, he was surprised by the part cost too and dug into the issue. He found some price discrepancies with his suppliers and is looking into the supply chain so as this type of thing doesn't happen again. That's progress. He also has offered to refund my initial callout fee which is much appreciated. It's always nice when a company responds to bad reviews in the right way and corrects issues and looks into changing the way things are done so as to avoid similar issues in the future.

Thank you David for doing the right thing. I hope you're able to streamline your parts sourcing so that customers get the lowest price available for parts.

Was really hoping for the best...but alas, it was not. While they were able to come out next day to take a look at my water heater, they fell FAR short on dealing with the problem.

Firstly, they took all my details when I called, including model number and serial number. We also discussed the problem and were both sure it was the gas control valve. Upon arrival, the tech confirmed that it was indeed the valve. Now despite discussing the model of my heater AND assuring me that they will be able to repair it next day...they did not have the part on the truck...how does that happen? You knew what model you were coming to fix!

Ok, so now I've shelled out $65 for a service call but they don't have the parts and can't fix the issue...so further days with hot water are forthcoming, NOT ideal but hey, let's get this done. I asked for the estimate. They quoted me at $655 for the parts and labor plus ANOTHER $89 for a 2nd callout fee. WTF??? I also then specifically asked what the price of the new valve was. I was told it's was $325. Of course I then checked amazon and found the part for $130. That's some mark up I said. Of course the company then tried to cover it up by saying that it's not the same part and my heater requires a more ""sophisticated"" part which is why it costs more. I declined their quote.

After consulting the internet and another plumbing supplies company, I ascertained that the part I found on amazon was in fact the RIGHT part. So now I'm going to fix it myself for $125 and sooner than they could have.

Do these companies want customer to hire them? Do these workers have any type of Customer Service knowledge? I called to potentially build a work relationship with them, keep in mind I manage over 500 apartment units and need a company to help me with my water heaters. I do have a maintenance team but they do not have in depth experience with water heaters. Well this lady by the name of NANCY answered the call. (She didn't even mention her name until the end of the call once I asked her BTW.) Well I began with my info and what I was looking for. She then questioned me on the water heater warranty, she laughed at my warranty being over after only 2 years, questioned me again saying how odd it was that it was over. After all of that she still didn't answer any questions. She did ask me to call back with more information on the heater which by all means that was me dropping the ball and wasn't prepared but truly her monotone voice and the way she rudely requested it and didn't give me any glimpse of decent customer service truly made this company lose a potential customer. She just stated she wasn't even sure they could help at that to quickly break down the call. Its Customer Care 101!

Woke up to no hot water and a pool of water in the back. Damn, hot water heater broke. Water Heaters Only to the rescue with Tony Edwards leading the brigade. Within 20 minutes or so of our phone call Tony was at our door. He was thorough, professional and really kind. The kind of person you want in your home. It took only about an hour and a half and I got my new water heater. He let me use a Yelp coupon I found on line ($100 get $200 off) which made the price pretty much what other plumbers were charging but I was going to have to wait a day or two! Rarely do you get quality service and speed at a reasonable price. They were only $89 over my usual plumber and he was going to take a day or two. Totally worth it. I feel you can often judge a company by the employees and Tony really showed me what a terrific company Water Heaters Only must be. He showed me what he was going to do and when finished went through it all with me. For a day that started out as a disaster this ended up pretty well. Now I can take a hot shower! Oh Boy!

As usual, I was on vacation when one of my oldest and dearest customer had her water heater quit and leak all over the garage. I walked her through the usual ""shut off the gas and water"" instructions and then explained that I was almost 3000 miles away. I gave her the number for Water Heaters Only and asked her to call me back when the situation was resolved. She did and she praised the service, installation and price. The technician Toni came to install a new water heater in my townhouse. My old heater was dying. Everything went very smooth and in less than two hours I had the old heater removed and a new one installed. Toni seemed very knowledgeable of what he was doing. He also honored a coupon discount I had. I would recommend this company.

Very professional service. The quote was free and explained to me in detail. Scheduling was a breeze and convenient with Sunday and Saturday appointments available. Don't try to save money by hiring a handyman to install your heater, have it done by a heater specialist.
