Nothing short of amazing.

Fidelity Home Warranty sent people to my home when my pilot light wouldn't ignite. They suggested replacement but informed me that I would have to have custom-built cabinetry installed before I owned the house, removed, and re-installed. It would have been terribly expensive. I called around. I spoke with three businesses getting quotes for each. WHO was the lowest-price. They offered Water Heaters that aren't Rheem. I started to research, Bradford and White are long-standing, have good reviews, and a better warranty.

The other companies said they would try to remove the water heater without removing the cabinets. The others suggested they would need two men to do the job.

WHO said they could do it in 4 hours with one man. I was doubtful.

Then came install day.

And Marcus showed up.

Professional, courteous, kind, fun, personable, AND CAPABLE. This guy did SOLO what I was told was a job that was both ""impossible"" without the suggested modifications to my garage OR required TWO men.

And all the while I would come out and check on him from time to time to make sure he had water and was welcome to use the restroom if he needed it. I'd crack jokes. He'd laugh. We'd laugh. I've NEVER had an experience with someone coming to my home to make repairs like this, NEVER.

It's hard to believe that this company has ANY 4-5 star ratings. Lori quoted us a ballpark range of $2000-2500 to replace and install a 50 gallon water heater with a drip pan, and cart away the old one. When the technician arrived (who if I was rating individually would get 5 stars), he mentioned he didn't have a 50 gallon and would have to check the warehouse. They had one but NOW THE PRICE WAS DOUBLED!!! Over 4 grand! WTF!!! I called back Lori and she played dumb. She actually told the technician/plumber a totally different story. I make allowances for people making a mistake, but outright lying is inexcusable. Shame on this company. Oh..and be aware, if they show up and don't do the job, they TRY to stick you for 65 Bucks. Pass on these guys. Perhaps pay a little more and use your local plumber.

My water heater pilot light was out. The ignition switch was broken. I called and asked if they can replace the ignition switch. They said they would need to replace the entire control valve but the good news was that my heater was ""still under warranty"". They quoted $175 to come and diagnose and the labor would be about $300 but the part was under warranty. Total price around $475. Note that the valve would cost about $200 if I wanted to replace it myself. I drove to Plumbing City and picked up the ignition switch for $15 and replaced it myself in less than 2 minutes. Heater works fine now and no need to replace the valve. Another attempt of getting ripped off avoided. NONE of these service companies can be trusted.

My water heater went out one night and the next morning I called Water Heaters Only and was very happy that I did. They scheduled a time for that afternoon and then called me back to say they had an earlier time slot and they asked if they could come then, which I appreciated. The two installers seemed to know what they were doing and didn't try to upsell me anything and the quote was the price I paid. They were communicative, neat and pleasant. Highly recommend!

My water heater was old and needed to be replaced. Water Heaters Only put the last water heater in over 20 plus years ago. I'm using this company again because I had zero issues with the water heater and zero issues with the installation . The office was very helpful in scheduling. Mario and Max arrived as scheduled. Called as they were on their way. Mario and Max arrived and used COVID-19 protocols. They did. an excellent jobs in an timely manner. At the end they explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Mario and Max and Water Heaters Only Los Angeles team.

The technician was Daniel Van Hove and he communicated very well regarding arrival time and was very polite and knowledgeable in explaining the issues and the work that was done. The price was a little higher than I was quoted and would have liked, but I appreciate the responsive and efficient service and feel the work was high quality.

Had 2 waters installed in the main house and the guest house by Daniel VanHove. He arrived on time, was very friendly and polite. He explained a lot of things about the new water heaters and seemed very knowledgeable! Who knew there was so much to know about them?! Once installed, they looked very professional and functional! Their price was $700 less than a couple estimates given by 2 other plumbers! Very pleased with Water Heaters Only!
