I discovered my water heater was leaking late Sunday evening, the night before Veterans Day. I found that many water heater companies were closed on Veterans Day or would not come to where I live. Fortunately I discovered Water Heaters Only and they were able to send a technician to replace my 22 year old leaking water heater. The person I spoke to by phone was courteous and informative. He gave me a good idea what a replacement would cost and answered all my questions. There was no extra charge for Veterans Day, they answer their phone 24 hours a day and their price for a water heater and installation was lower than other companies I checked into.
Danny arrived less than four hours after I had called. After looking at my leaking water heater, he told me exactly how much it would cost to replace and exactly what he would be doing. As soon as he did that he showed me how to get a $50 dollar discount with an online coupon. Danny was very professional, extremely knowledgeable and hard working.
My old water heater had been resting upon a layer of drywall. The relatively small amount of water that had leaked out turned that drywall to mush. Danny replaced this with plywood which he cut to fit the alcove where the water heater sits. He also added a drip pan under the new water heater. He answered more of my questions and instructed me on the operation and use of my new water heater. His installation of the water heater was very well done. It was very evident he was experienced and highly skilled in water heater installation.
I highly recommend Water Heaters Only and Danny in particular. I was very pleased with the experience.

No one plans ahead for your water heater to fail. When yours springs a leak you need it fixed fast. I called Tuesday morning, and they came out the next day. My technician was very knowledgeable about building codes and recommended that I actually downsize from a 75 to 50 gallon, saving me about $1000. His work was very detailed, and he cleaned up everything. I was very happy with everything, from the first phone call, to communicating when they would arrive, to the quality of work. I hope you don't need them, but when you do, this is business to call.

The water heater unit broke today. In fact, it's been 10 years and 7 months since Water Heaters Only installed my water heater.
Alex B was the same technician who installed my unit 10 years ago! It was nice to meet Alex again, after 10 years! Alex is totally professional, proficient and skilled. I am glad he was the assigned technician who is replacing my unit today. Let's hope this new one lasts 10 years or more!
Dispatch was great as well (Valerie is her name, I think). She kept me up-to-date with the appointment, and texted me the appointment details.

I was having an issue with my 10 year old water heater and suspected I'd need a replacement. I scheduled a visit with their technician for the afternoon to stop by and take a look. I was surprised when the technician called me and offered to walk me through some troubleshooting over the phone for free. I was skeptical because everything he told me to do I'd tried and had no luck. Much to my surprise, his direction worked and he also explained why it likely worked this time. Not only did I save money by not having a technician come out to do something simple, but it freed up my weekend. I have about 2 years left of life in this water heater and I absolutely know the company I'm going to use to eventually replace it. Thanks for being awesome and thinking about the customer first.

Just had my water heater replaced by Water Heaters Only and they were great. Immediate response and follow-up throughout the scheduling and installation process. John Aguirre was the technician who came out., he was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. He explained the work he needed to do prior to replacing the old water heater and did an awesome job from start to completion. He cleaned up the work area and gave detailed instructions on operation and warranty information. Price was very reasonable, I would definitely use them again.

It was a rocky start: I had a morning appointment that they called me to change to an afternoon one. Then when the day came they still thought it was a morning one. I did not answer my phone in the am since I was not expecting it. When I called back they said I missed my window.

After some back and forth on the phone, they got someone to show up in the afternoon after all.

A special shout out to Kevin West who installed the unit, since he was kind of caught in the middle of this scheduling mess and had completed his jobs for the day when the company asked him to come back to my place in the afternoon. Instead of complaining he went out of his way to go to get another heater from the warehouse, in bad traffic. He also went to buy the necessary spare parts at Lowes, which I needed to pass inspection. Then he came back and worked late to finish the job.

Full disclosure, I think this job deserves 4 starts and not 5. I am only giving 5 because the company requires this to reward the installer. That is a kind of a questionable way of getting 5 star reviews, in my opinion but at least I can write about it here.

Five stars are definitely deserving for the very professional job done by Will G. from Water Heaters Only, Inc. in his installation of our new water heater! He was there near the beginning of the ""arrival window"" and was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done to handle the difficult access location and the necessary work needed to get the installation completed. He was very polite and conscientious throughout the whole process and answered all my questions very comprehensively. It was a pleasure dealing with him and we would strongly recommend him and Water Heaters Only, Inc. to others.

Per our call, they don't do repairs at all, because they feel it is too risky to repair a water heater. They will only sell you a new unit. They wouldn't give me an estimate on the cost of a new unit - I had to make an appointment for them to come to the house.

Other water heater companies *will* repair your heater.

Review for customer service. We had our water heater replaced with a tankless. Beni was great very thorough and got the job done on time. I worked with Nick who was also very professional and helpful. Unfortunately after the install we hear a loud thump every time the washing machine is on + still randomly smell gas from the tankless. I called today to schedule an appointment and the guy who answered to schedule the appointment was rude and an idiot. I asked him a question 3 times and kept rephrasing it so he would understand. He kept taking over me and being an asshole. Finally I said look book my appointment so I can hang up and he hung up on me. I guess he was offended that I dropped an Eff bomb because he was giving me attitude cuz he couldn't understand my question. Some men can't handle a woman knowing more than them. So this review is for that insecure prick.
