They called one of their Tecks. He was their in a hour. He kept me informed as I was making my way to the house. He explained exactly what happened. He had to replace the water heater because it was unsafe to operate. I was shocked that they carry water heaters in their huge service truck. He worked really hard and replaced the water heater and upgraded the gas piping to current code standards. I was stressed because I was thinking it's going to take a day or two to get this handled. Couple of weeks ago we noticed some rust build up in a pipe's T-joint connected to the main tank from the water source. Normally this should not happen this soon after a new water heater installation. I called WaterHeatersOnly and talked to Dave who assigned the work to Jim. who came within couple of hours and replaced the whole thing without charging anything.
