I called on a Friday afternoon, when our Noritz tankless water heater was intermittently failing to fire up, and another company claimed that we needed to replace everything at enormous expense. I wanted, at the very least, to get a second opinion.

When I called, the person who answered the phone first asked me, in a concerned tone of voice, ""are you completely without hot water?"" I reassured him that it wasn't a dire emergency, at which point he put me on the schedule for Monday (the next business day). I got the impression that, if it were more urgent, he would have found a way to get someone to come that same afternoon or during the weekend.

Ryan showed up on Monday morning, apologizing for being about an hour earlier than expected. He took a look at the heater, and quickly explained that the situation was nowhere near as catastrophic as the other plumber had assumed. It turns out that the supposed corrosion in the heat exchanger, observed by the other plumber, was entirely normal for a unit of this age and was by no means a sign that it was at the end of its life. The ignition problems were simply due to poor wire connections in the remote control - something that the other plumber had explicitly denied when I asked about it. Ryan had the whole thing fixed in ten minutes. The total repair price was about 2% of the water heater replacement that the other company was pushing.

Water Heater Pros could have done like the other company, and tried to get me to pay a fortune for an unnecessary replacement. Instead, they chose to be honest and to recommend a simple and effective repair. It's such a relief that there are contractors like this. And, by the way, Ryan was absolutely delightful.

Ryan came to my house , I have two separate tankless water heaters in my house since I have a big house ; one of them wasn't working and the other one had some issues he called the manufacturer and ordered many parts that were under warranty. Couple of days later he came and did major repairs on one and minor on the other one . Extremely professional and knows his job. Highly recommended and he did an excellent job.

We started getting only lukewarm water in the middle of the day. I checked our gas water heater and everything seemed ok. Confused, I called Water Heater Pros. Jose answered and he walked me through a series of checks on the phone. He correctly deduced that the issue was a leak in a pipe under the house. Sure enough, when I walked around, I could hear water leaking from one side of the house. He advised me to turn the heater to the lowest setting possible, shut off hot water inlet and call a plumber. His timely help avoided any more water leaking into my crawl space and damage to my boiler.

We were being gouged by a competing company, and the manufacturer of our tankless water heater recommended Water Heater Pros. I called and was immediately helped, clearly told what we needed, the cost, and when they could come.
The other company's estimate was literally Three Times what these guys quoted for the same service.
When the two very nice, very polite Water Heater Pros technicians arrived right on time, they explained that there was nothing really wrong with the heater, they replaced the filter, and charged way way less than their original quote. They were shocked to hear what the other company had told us and was planning to charge us.

Do NOT go anywhere else!! These folks are smart, honest, responsive, and did a great job. They saved us a huge amount of money, and from being literally defrauded by the other company.

Water Heater Pros deserve a 5 star rating for 2 reasons: integrity and skill to fix the root problem without trying to upsell unneeded hardware. My 87 year old mother's 7 year old water heater's igniter wouldn't start. Water Heater Pros was able to restart it and charged a $95 service fee. They said that if it goes out in the next 5 days, they would replace a valve without charging a second service fee. Why is this awesome? Another company came out, tried 6 times to start it and failed. Then they said, ""There is rust on top, we need to replace the water heater for $2600.""
