We stopped getting hot water last week and had SDG&E come out to take a look at our water heater tank. They left a note saying we had a defective thermocouple and needed replacement and service. I called finding on Yelp and although he couldn't come out right away since it was pretty late, he quoted me a price. He was on time and got the part repaired quickly and even texted to let us know the work was completed. We are very happy and I agree with others he is honest about his services and knows his job well. Highly recommend!!

I'm an experienced Builder/HI Expert, but got tired of troubleshooting small things. My Spare Water Heater Pilot will not light, so I called Plamen to help out. He was very helpful over the phone and had me try different things, but didn't work for me. He came out within a few hours, and fixed the problem within 1 minute. The best part is he didn't even charge me for the trip charge, which is unheard of. This goes to show he has definite integrity and honesty, and I will definitely use him for all my plumbing needs from now on. HONEST, NICE GUY.

Had a water leak on my water heater - need to replace it. Heard that Home Depot installed them and for a great price. Got a quote from them and also from Plamen. Plamen's price was $300 less than Home Depot. Plamen was great - was able to install the water heater the next day! Didn't take long - great workmanship- took the old WH away and did a few minor plumbing repairs to our house. Great experience! Would highly recommend him!

Plamen replaced a gas water heater for me today. He arrived only a couple minutes late and sincerely apologized; even though a few (less than 10; actually only 5) minutes late is no big deal!! The arrival time should be flexible, unless you're the first appointment. Plamen was very courteous, fast and efficient, and very fair on price. I highly recommend his services!!! I would give Plamen the first shot at any of my plumbing needs 5-stars!!

I am so used to terrible customer service and paying obscene amounts of money for household repairs, especially those that are urgent situations, that I have come to expect very little from anyone. When my water heater broke, it did so in an ugly and messy way. As I searched for someone to replace it, well, round up the usual suspects. I had finally paid for a new water heater and the installation costs up front with one of the home improvement stores, and I won't mention any names, but let's just say it was not Home Depot, and they promised that they would be out to fix it on the same day. As promised, the installation contractor showed up, took a look at my water heater, and told me that the size of the unit that I had purchased and that was on his truck was not the correct size, even though I had given the person on the phone the exact measurements. So, I asked him what time he would be back, and he said he didn't know but he did guarantee me that it would NOT be today. And, he also said that he did not think that the store would have to order a replacement and it might very well take a couple weeks. I told him that I had chosen this company because they promised me that it would be done today. He made it very clear that he did not care. He told me that I should call the store and work it out with them. But, before he left, he offered me some advice. ""Drain the broken water heater and turn it off until it is replaced."" Really? No hot water for two weeks? He left, I got on the phone with the store, and sure enough, they did not have the unit in stock, and they would have to order it and it would take a couple weeks. I told them to please return the money they had charged my credit care, and when the Customer Dis-Service Representative returned after putting me on hold for 30 minutes, she said, sure, we will refund the money to my card. It would take about five business days for the credit to show back up. I'm sure that no one is surprised to hear about this kind of thing because this is how it goes....terrible customer service and disappointing products for a lot of money and prolonged periods of frustration. It is a form of torture.
And there I was, back to square one, and now it's way after the noon deadline that seems to be the standard. Call before noon and get same day service. Let me just tell you what I discovered. The closer it gets to noon, the more expensive it gets. I know because some of the companies that gave me quotes earlier in the morning were adding two to three hundred dollars more to what they had previously told me. What a racket. But, in the midst of my desperation I came across Plamen""s website. I called, and after two rings, I was talking to someone. I told him my situation, and I asked him if he had the appropriate replacement unit. He said ""yes"". I asked him if he could possibly install it today? He said ""yes"". I asked him if he could give me an estimate, and he gave me a price that was $300 to $600 less expensive than anyone else. Not believing that this could be possible, i asked him if this was for a new, not a refurbished heater. He told me it was a brand new unit. I asked if this would be the walk out the door price, no surprises. He said, yes. He asked me what time would I like him to arrive. I told him that as long as it was taken care of today, whenever it was convenient for him. He told me that he would be there within the hour.
A few minutes later, i received a text message from him telling me that he was almost at my place. In the meantime, I checked his reviews. They were all five star reviews and everyone raved about him. I run a business and we have all five star reviews and people say lovely things about us and I am very proud to be able to say this, but, honestly, we earned it. So, at this point I am understanding that I am about to have an extraordinary experience with a high quality class act.
I was not disappointed. Plamen showed up early, just as everyone had said in their reviews. He was respectful, extremely polite. He is a professional in every way and he is a wizard of what he does perfectly AND he is genuinely a nice and fair individual. He made me proud to part of the human race. This level of integrity and professionalism is unheard of these days.
So, I have no reservations recommending Playmen Braykov. Please do not reward the racketeers who have no soul. Support this individual entrepreneur who takes his job very seriously. He will leave you whole.

What do I think? Superb! Great! Fast! Super clean! Not fast, mega fast! Took Plamen 20 minutes to remove the old one and to install the new one.

Well after researching online and via phone for a while, got an idea of what the installation price is around in general. After calling the company I've been asked do I want they to bring a new heater or I already purchased one. I had mine but was so pleased to know there is an option they to bring me a new heater.

Second nice surprise. After I called Plamen showed at my condo about 30 minutes later and started working at that moment. I first didn't expect such fast response, neither an immediate arrival. Nicely surprised is not the correct word. I was shocked!

Everything worked right on. No second tries. He took the old water heater with him, just asked me if I'd like that option.

People, I not just highly recommend his services, you must consider him as your only option. Don't even try Home Depot installation services. Pointless. I did called them to compare. Don't want even to start.
