Ok, I wish ALL folks worked like this - I sent a message around 9pm-Plamen responded immediately (that night!) and we talked about a new hot water heater for me as well as my next door neighbors. I wanted a certain kind so I ordered them at H.D. and he picked them up and brought to our homes, installed them (both within about 3.5 hours). His service was EXCELLENT and he was very timely/friendly/knowledgeable. He did a great job, clean and professional. I really appreciate this type of service and so did my neighbors - that is the way it should be and we are very happy - thank you Plamen!!

Really impressive and highly recommend. I called North County Water Heater at 7 p.m. at night when we had a water leak. At first, I couldn't determine if it was the water heater or the pipes but Plamen answered the phone and gave me some tips about how to isolate the issue. It turned out to be a pipe leak but I did end up using Plamen to reset my water heater.

I've found the company to be extremely reliable, helpful, professional and courteous. I would recommend and definitely use again.

Water heater thermocouple went bad (after only 6 years) Christmas Eve. SDG&E came out and told us what was wrong. After calling many places found North County Water Heater Services
and they were extremely quick, efficient and did not try to rip us off.

After getting ridiculous quotes of up to $400 for a 30-60 minute job to replace a $10 thermocouple (although it was Christmas Day) we are extremely satisfied with and highly recommend North County Water Heater Services!

Unbelievable experience!

I live in the Bay Area and my tenants in Carlsbad called me one morning and told me the water heater had failed (massive leaking) sometime during the night. Garage had standing water. Time for a new water heater.

I was expecting a tough time scheduling the replacement work and negotiating pricing via telephone from up here in San Francisco. I worried that my tenants would be without hot water for days if not a week or so. After a few calls to other water heater replacement contractors, I phoned Mr. Braykov based on his extensive five-star Yelp! reviews.

I called him at 11:30am and he was at my property meeting my tenant with a new 50-gallon water heater by 1:30pm. Installation took about 30 minutes and I again have happy tenants. Owner answered the phone at 9pm on a Monday, he was out to install the water heater by 1p the next day. Even made sure I had called the manufacturer and exhausted my warranty options before installing the new unit. They quoted a fair price ($500 cheaper than the others I had gotten) and were in and out in less than an hour. Very friendly and good communication. Would definitely recommend.

I had been without hot water for 2 weeks for my ""2nd"" home. I had restarted the pilot but the pilot would not stay lit nor did my water stay ""hot"". Water came out lukewarm and I would always need to restart the pilot. I wasn't in a rush to get an assessment as I had been traveling. I finally was able to schedule an appointment with SDGE for a water heater assessment, and when he lit the pilot, he heard some odd noises coming from the unit.

He quickly turned off the gas and said that the water heater was ""bad"" and I needed a replacement. Original water heater of 10 years. He had never heard of a water heater hissing and making the sounds (knocking from the sediment) as my heater did. He mentioned that it's best to go with a small business owner vs. the big box stores (Home Depot/Lowes). I went on Yelp and Plamen's business was the first one I called.

Plamen immediately answered and requested info on my water heater. I sent over pics of my water heater and he gave me a quote instantly ($699 for 40 gal/ $799 for 50 gal). I scheduled an appointment for the replacement. The day before my appointment, Plamen called and confirmed my appointment. Day of, I was running 15 mins late, and he accommodated my schedule.

When he came to my residence, he was very professional, courteous and efficient. Plamen took the time to explain specifics to me and answered all my questions. After the install, he checked all my faucets to be sure water was flowing and pressure was right. He also tightened one of my sink plugs that only took less than a minute!

Plamen also relayed that if I were to go out on vacation or long periods of time, to turn the temperature to pilot so that the heater doesn't stay on while we are out. It'll save some money in the long run. COOL! Thanks!!!

6 year warranty for a Bradford White 40gal water heater with 1 year labor warranty. The entire process was 1 1/2 hours total. Started 215p and job completed by 345p.
