We established our company in 2006. Upon completing my degree at the University of South Alabama in 2001, I took on a plumber's apprentice role to help fund my studies. Like many students, I was uncertain about my future, but I found joy in hands-on work. I enjoyed engaging with customers and the fulfillment that came from delivering quality work. It became clear that I wanted to utilize my communications and marketing degree to establish my own plumbing company. Together with my wife, Allison, we founded Walley Plumbing Company LLC in February 2006. We are thankful for our employees and customers, and it is our privilege to serve you.

Hi there, I’m Tony. I entered the plumbing field in 1998 when I took a summer job while home from college. I enjoyed plumbing so much that I continued working part-time throughout college to complete my degree. After graduating from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Communications and Business, I pursued my Master Plumber license and opened my own plumbing company. We established Walley Plumbing Company in 2006 and have expanded into a full-service operation with multiple technicians, offering 24/7 availability and a focus on outstanding customer experience. We would love the opportunity to meet you!

This used to be a good company but the last job they did was bad quality. They recaulked my shower less than a year ago and it's already cracking and coming out. I paid over $600, which is way too much but I thought it was being done correctly. I called to have them checkout the problem but they wanted to charge me a $90 diagnostic fee just to look at it. They did a lot of work for me in the past but I guess it's time to look for a new plumber. I'm very disappointed.

I contacted this company to make some required repairs due to my home being under contract. The technician was scheduled to arrive between 9 & 12. They didn't arrive until 2:00. Phillip """"evaluated"""" the issue and said the only way he would be able to fix the outside faucets were to replace them. He said he couldn't replace the gaskets to see if that corrected it, it would require total replacement. In order for him to do this, he was going to have to chisel out brick so he could weld an extender into the old pipe and then put on a new faucet. He was going to have to do this to both exterior faucets. I also had a leaking valve stem behind the washer that had to be replaced. Based on the """"amount"""" of work it was going to take, he quoted $793. I assumed it was so high because of the complexity of chiseling out brick, welding, etc. He left to get parts and returned about 25 mins later. It takes him about 45 mins to complete the work. Low and behold, the brick did not have to be chiseled. He was able to put the extender on and new faucet with no issues. Valve stem behind washer was also no issue. He still charged me $793 even though he didn't do all of the """"required"""" work that was included in the initial quote. I was so astonished, I went to our local hardware store and priced the parts he used. It cost less than $50 in parts. That would mean I was charged $750 in labor! Round up the time to 2 hours...that equates to $375 per hour. Absurd! My husband, who has been working out of town, immediately questioned the price when I told him how much it had cost. A major red flag was that the technician couldn't give me an invoice. I asked for it. I even asked if I could take a picture of his tablet showing what the charges were. He told me he didn't have access to that. He said I would have to call the office in the morning to get it. I began calling at 7:30am the next day. We had to call 6 or 7 times to be able to get the invoice. We specifically requested an itemized one. We wanted to see what was so expensive. We receive, finally, from the owner (Tony) an invoice with one line item and the total price. He said they are a """"flat rate"""" company. Based on the other Google reviews, that simply isn't true. There are many talking about their """"hourly rate."""" What it boils down to is they use whatever rate is more convenient and beneficial to them so they can overcharge for their services. I feel as though I was taken advantage of. I was misled into believing the scope of work was greater than it was. Not to mention, my brick was burned and my shutter melted! If you need plumbing repair work, I would recommend you seek help elsewhere.

Came out to fix shutoff valve at toilet. 15 minutes later finished installing a $20 part for a charge over $200. I thought that was a little high. Offered to replace the insides for another $200. No!!!

Leaking pipe under the slab. Was quoted a price of $4000. They came down to $3000. Paid the $96 diagnosis charge. Had the repair done by another professional local plumber who quoted $2500 but did the job for $1985.

Single women beware: They will come out and fix your toilet just fine-but will charge you $300 to replace the toilet water supply line which costs 10 bucks.

The technician that came out was very nice and this review is no way against him. However i was told someone would show up between 8 and 12 no show no call until I called the company. then was quoted $550 on top of the $55 fee for coming over just to have a screw tightened behind my tub faucet that's insane and a scam in my opinion. so I definitely will not be using this company again.

The plumber that came out to quote our tankless water heater was quite nice and professional and Ihad high hopes. However the quote was unimaginably out of therange of reason. The quote was about 4 times the reasonable amount for a very easy installation with all necessary materials provided.

He was prompt. He was respectful, and answered all my questions. He did what he came to do. I would use them again.

Recently our kitchen sink developed a slow leak that Liquid Plumber would do nothing to help. I called Walley Plumbing about midday, and spoke with Tony. He apologized and said that, although they could resolve the issue, it was likely that they couldn't get anyone out to our house until the next morning. I explained our need to have it resolved as soon as possible, but would accept it if no one could come out until the next morning. He agreed to see if one of their techs could handle it as a late assignment, after all his other work for the day was complete. Later that day I was delightfully surprised to receive a text from them that indicated that a technician had been assigned to arrive that same day between the hours of 5:30 and 6:30. The text indicated the technician's name and also stated that he would text when he was on the way. Later that evening, I received a call from the tech (I wish I could remember his name, but can't) who reported that he was on his way. I also received a text from him that included a link that, when I clicked on it, I could see a map that showed his exact location right up to the moment he pulled into our driveway. The tech was efficient and quick, locating the plug in the drain line, and clearing it with his rooter machine in no at all. All in all, the whole on site time for the tech was no more than twenty minutes. Total charge for the service was $185.00, which I was okay with, assuming that this person was working after usual working hours. His demeanor was courteous and professional. I now have Walley Plumbing info saved in my contacts, and will certainly be giving them first call should any other plumbing issues arise for us in the future.

We developed a clog in our plumbing on a Saturday morning. Good times. All I could think about was how much we were going to be overcharged and disappointed. I read the reviews on the local plumbers in the Mobile area and came across Walley Plumbing. They had good recent reviews. I called and got the answering service who dispatched a call with the on-call plumber, Chris. I received a call back within a few minutes and spoke with Chris about the problem, rates, and his availability. Chris arrived within the hour. I showed the problem to Chris - he immediately knew the possible causes and went to work. Chris was able to solve the problem in a reasonable amount of time. I was glad that he took the time to review the rest of the plumbing in the house as well as the clean outs to make sure that the problem was fully solved. Chris also took the time to volunteer some additional things that we will want to repair in the future along with a rough estimate of the costs and a recommendation of things that we could do to reduce the cost. Thank you Walley for doing a great job on the work requested, being honest on the costs, and being proactive on other possible issues.
