Our company was established in the year 2006. Upon earning my degree from the University of South Alabama in 2001, I worked as a plumber's apprentice to help pay my way through school. Like many college students, I was unsure of my future, but I found satisfaction in hands-on work. I valued the customer interactions and the satisfaction of their satisfaction with a job well done. I understood that I wanted to apply my degree in communications and marketing in the form of my own plumbing company. Thanks to my wife, Allison, we founded Walley Plumbing Company LLC in the early months of 2006. The people we work with are a true blessing to us, and we feel privileged to assist you.

Hey there, I'm Tony. I have worked in plumbing since the year 1998 I got a seasonal position while on break from college. I found plumbing so enjoyable that I continued all through college, balancing part-time jobs to earn my degree. Upon graduation from the University of South Alabama with a Communications and Business degree, I aimed for my Master Plumber license and open my own plumbing company. We opened Walley Plumbing Company in the year 2006, and we have expanded into a complete plumbing service with multiple technicians and we provide 24-hour service while emphasizing superior client satisfaction. We'd love to meet you!

I do not recommend these people. I needed my garbage disposal replaced with a disposal that I provided. I was told that there would be a $96 trip charge that would be applied to the work they were to perform. Once at my house, I was quoted a price of over $550 for what would take maybe an hour at most. This included the $96. Needless to say, they showed up, collected their money and left. Wayyyyy overpriced.

Walley Plumbing came out to fix a tub repair. The repairman said at first it would be a easy job and it would be 450 dollars which was twice what i thought it should be.Then the classic oh no i cant fix it you need a new one for 1400.I was at work so we had to get it fixed. He left and did not check the shower head that he broke I asked him to come out the next day and fix it.I never heard back fron him and fixed it my self. Do not use these people. The switch and bait you and do crappy work. I would give them 0 stars if possible.

The plumber that came out to quote our tankless water heater was quite nice and professional and Ihad high hopes. However the quote was unimaginably out of therange of reason. The quote was about 4 times the reasonable amount for a very easy installation with all necessary materials provided.

I contacted this company to make some required repairs due to my home being under contract. The technician was scheduled to arrive between 9 & 12. They didn't arrive until 2:00. Phillip """"evaluated"""" the issue and said the only way he would be able to fix the outside faucets were to replace them. He said he couldn't replace the gaskets to see if that corrected it, it would require total replacement. In order for him to do this, he was going to have to chisel out brick so he could weld an extender into the old pipe and then put on a new faucet. He was going to have to do this to both exterior faucets. I also had a leaking valve stem behind the washer that had to be replaced. Based on the """"amount"""" of work it was going to take, he quoted $793. I assumed it was so high because of the complexity of chiseling out brick, welding, etc. He left to get parts and returned about 25 mins later. It takes him about 45 mins to complete the work. Low and behold, the brick did not have to be chiseled. He was able to put the extender on and new faucet with no issues. Valve stem behind washer was also no issue. He still charged me $793 even though he didn't do all of the """"required"""" work that was included in the initial quote. I was so astonished, I went to our local hardware store and priced the parts he used. It cost less than $50 in parts. That would mean I was charged $750 in labor! Round up the time to 2 hours...that equates to $375 per hour. Absurd! My husband, who has been working out of town, immediately questioned the price when I told him how much it had cost. A major red flag was that the technician couldn't give me an invoice. I asked for it. I even asked if I could take a picture of his tablet showing what the charges were. He told me he didn't have access to that. He said I would have to call the office in the morning to get it. I began calling at 7:30am the next day. We had to call 6 or 7 times to be able to get the invoice. We specifically requested an itemized one. We wanted to see what was so expensive. We receive, finally, from the owner (Tony) an invoice with one line item and the total price. He said they are a """"flat rate"""" company. Based on the other Google reviews, that simply isn't true. There are many talking about their """"hourly rate."""" What it boils down to is they use whatever rate is more convenient and beneficial to them so they can overcharge for their services. I feel as though I was taken advantage of. I was misled into believing the scope of work was greater than it was. Not to mention, my brick was burned and my shutter melted! If you need plumbing repair work, I would recommend you seek help elsewhere.

Our shower head began dripping after my husband tried to turn the hot water temperature higher, which included removing the cartridge. Walley Plumbing sent Phillip out to diagnose and repair the problem. Phillip immediately told us the cartridge needed to replaced which would stop the dripping. After going to his van, he came back with 3 options. The cheapest was $650, to replace the cartridge. The other 2 options were over $1,000 and included repairs we did not need. My husband and I were flabbergasted for a couple of reasons. (1) We could purchase the replacement cartridge for $82. (2) It was a fix that would have taken 30 minutes at the most. I told Phillip that was ridiculous and that they were taking advantage of us by charging that astronomical price. He asked """"what would you pay?"""" which I found very interesting. The charge was negotiable? I told him $100 for the part (more than it would cost) and $100 for his time (1 hour). He shook his head but said he would go back out to see if he could get it any lower. We would have even paid up to $350 which we felt was more than reasonable. When he came back he told us the new charge would be $500! We, again, told him that was highway robbery and we would not be paying such a ridiculous amount. We paid the $96 diagnostic fee and he left. As a side note, we realize there is a markup on parts, but even if they doubled the $82 that would be $164. That would mean they were charging $486 for 30 mins-1 hour labor, based on the original $650 quote. Walley Plumbing should be ashamed!! I will never recommend that company to anyone, and we will certainly tell anyone who asks us for a recommendation to NOT call Walley Plumbing!

Our recently purchased home has a HOOT system that has been poorly kept by previous owners. Shortly after moving in, an alarm began to sound. Walley, I stumbled across on the Internet in desperation for info. One simple call and we are good to go, all in the matter of a few hours. Thank You!

The technician that came out was very nice and this review is no way against him. However i was told someone would show up between 8 and 12 no show no call until I called the company. then was quoted $550 on top of the $55 fee for coming over just to have a screw tightened behind my tub faucet that's insane and a scam in my opinion. so I definitely will not be using this company again.

The tech was very respectful, nice, and quick to come out for quote. However, the issue was misdiagnosed and therefore the quote was extremely expensive. We were told the leak was from a pipe in the slab. When we got a second opinion we found the leak was just in the wall. The tech from Walley never even cut into the wall to check/verify. We wasted $96 for a wrong diagnosis and would've been out a minimum $3000 for work that was not even needed. This is extremely disappointing from such a highly rated company. I really think my $96 should be refunded to go towards the $400 I paid to the professional plumber who correctly diagnosed and fixed our leak.
