I am a homeowner who has used Waialae Plumbing for over four years. They have handled large and small repairs for us inside and outside of our home. Sarah, the person who does the scheduling, is always helpful and professional. They have a number of plumbers so they are able to come out to our home in a timely manner. All of the plumbers that we have dealt with have been friendly, courteous and competent. We are very satisfied with their service and the quality of their work!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! We had them run a waterline to our fridge. It had to go through the crawl space in the attic and the worker stepped off the beam and put a hole through our canec ceiling in the hallway. The owner would only pay for slapping some drywall mud to patch it or put up an access panel (WE ALREADY HAVE ONE). Both of those options would be highly visible. It was a perfectly good hallway prior. To fix it properly will cost almost $3000 and he is only willing to pay for half. He says it's "unfair" for him to pay for the whole thing. I have to pay $1500 for his worker's mistake? This was 2 months ago and nothings been done. I agree with the other reviews. Do not go with this company. Unethical!

Nate Eiman from Waialae Plumbing came to provide a diagnosis and give me options on how to resolve my leak issues. Very patient, professional and thorough. Estimate on work proposed was completed and emailed within an hour of consultation. Definitely two thumbs up from me!!!

First of all, I don't know much about plumbing and how to fix the issues...except that it shouldn't be leaking. When we called Waialae Plumbing we were able to get an appointment pretty quick (within the next 1 or 2 days). They fixed all the issues we had and everything seems to be working as it should. We will definitely call them next time there is a leak or clogged sink/tub. They are very familiar with the condo I live in too so that is a big plus.

Wow--have been struggling for months with a clog tub. After pouring just about twenty bottles of liquid Draino into tub. I finally gave in and called Waialae Plumbing and Construction. He was here for ten minutes and took care of everything--why didn't I do this sooner. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

A friend told me I should do the repairs myself; I don't think so.
Today I had the kitchen faucet replaced, the dishwasher removed, guest bathroom faucet (for shower/tub) replaced, and, last but not least, the handheld shower head's replaced in both bathrooms.
The two technicians who came were fast and efficient. Warren explained why I should have the old (and unused) dishwasher removed; I'd been considering it for a while. I now have extra kitchen storage space!
I'm embarrassed that I didn't get the other technician's name. While he tackled the kitchen faucet, Warren showed me why the guest bathroom bathtub faucet should be changed. I'd rather be proactive when it comes to plumbing issues.
They arrived early too and got right to work.

Called with electrical questions for work I wanted done at my place.
Pros:
--called back when they said they would
--answered my questions (sort of)

Cons:
--would have preferred speaking directly with electrician instead of receptionist especially since I have little understanding of what I want done. I found it uninspiring that most of the answers the receptionist gave me included the phrase "I think".
--quote for work was very imprecise and she could only give generalizations about what the work would include which is not good enough when they are are charging $115/hour plus parts.

Conclusion: I'm going to pass on Waialae Plumbing and Construction because they inspired no confidence in me. Would have preferred speaking with a professional. Was really getting a feel for this company for future condo renovation work by starting them on a small project but going to keep looking around.

Note: Have used them for plumping work in the past and I was well pleased with the results.
