My laundry drain clogged and I was looking for un-clogging services be done to my p-trap. I called other Plumbing businesses to shop around for quotes, and immediately noticed that Waialae Plumbing was different. Not only were they super friendly and communicative, they were respectful and fully descriptive with each step. They updated me with every inspection, test and repair of my laundry drain. I had Kenneth and Aldrin come over, and Kenneth was super responsive and patient with all of my questions. Although they were costly, comparative to other plumbing services that I got a consultation for, it was cheaper than some competitors. They were trustworthy, and even gave me advice that ended up saving me some money. I love that Waialae Plumbing is very detailed in describing their job, and is very careful with how they work. The customer service was a 10/10, the service done was a 10/10.

Right after the power outage in the first week of Jan 2024, our refrigerator malfunctioned, along with some other plumbing issues that required looking into, Daniel and Joe came by to help fix a leak, clean out the bathroom sink pipes, and proceeded to do an orderly inspection. The quality of their work is superb, and at no point did they rush their craft. Daniel came the next day to assess the refrigerator situation, and diagnosed that we would need a technician for a new fridge installation, but that he would be able to future proof our unit by replacing the old copper pipe and valve with a more modern installation. Because we are members of the waialae plumbing, we were able to get some discounts. It might not be much but still relatively valuable to have. 5/5 superb service and professionalism. Shout out to Brian, Patrick, Sarah and Ryan as well!

Jakob and his apprentice Joel were professional and communicated well. We felt that they addressed the issue with our leaking shower head and fixed it quickly. They were even able to find the right parts for our shower even though it was old. Jakob was very thoughtful and friendly, and the price for the job was reasonable.

I needed to replace 3 bathroom faucets. My neighbor is a plumber yet he's retiring and I had heard good things about Waialae Plumbing from friends and family. Nate from Waialae Plumbing came by to help me install the 3 faucets. Our home had the cheap shut off valves with the plastic handles and the faucets would always drip even after it was closed using those valves. He suggested changing them to the ""1/4 turn"" type as they're much better than those cheap plastic ones. Besides being very personable and professional, Nate didn't put any pressure on me to replace the shut off valves. He provided me the cost ""up front"" for replacing each shut off valve and installation of the 3 faucets so there weren't any surprises after he was done. Because they were old, the corrosion required him to cut off the mounting wingnuts on all 3 existing faucets! The saying ""you get what you pay for"" popped in my head yet for the piece of mind knowing that they stand behind their work put me at ease. I will certainly use their services in the future. Sometimes it pays to spend a little more and just fix the problem ""right"" the first time!

He helped resolve a main line issue between my unit and my neighbors plumbing recently and I was very impressed that I scheduled additional work for my unit and specifically asked for Jacob to return.

Shower drain and toilet both plugged up. Also suspected the shower valve was leaking because the floor was flooded. Managed to shut off the water supply to the house and avert the immediate emergency. Brian came @ 8 am the next morning to troubleshoot/fix the problem. Using a camera scope and specialized location finder, Brian, Mike and team determined the main sewer line was blocked with tree roots, pinpointed the blockage location, dug down to the pipe, cut and cleaned it out, installed new clean outs - all in one day!! All hands on deck! The shower valve was fine. We were so happy we could turn the water back on and have full use of our bathroom. Brian came back the next morning to replace the wax seal & reset the toilet. Wonderful, quick service done with careful attention to detail. It was an expensive problem, but fair.
