No showed for my appointment today. 3 hours waiting and coordinated leave from work. Person I spoke with last week scheduling the appointment was nice and repeated all my info, so not sure what happened. Disappointing.

Nothing affordable about this company, their technician wanted to charge me $850 to replace the bearings and pulley on my swamp cooler, priced a brand new swamp cooler at Home Depot for $500. Got someone to fix it for $350. These people don't give honest work and just try to swindle you any way they can. Will never use them again.

I will never do busines with this company again. The service tech just left & I have an overwhelming smell of electrical burning in the house. I thought if I changed the filter it might help, but it was so crammed in the system I couldn't remove it & when I called to have the tech come back out I was told no one is available & I would have to make an appointment.

Now I have to call another company to come out for the emergency after having just paid this company almost $500. I'll be sure to send them the bill.

We called and had Affordable Service (Kurt) come out to our house in Placitas. They were right on time.

We had a broken and leaking garbage disposal, wanted a new kitchen sink faucet installed, our water heater flushed, and install a new filter to our water softener system.

Kurt and Alex did a great job. Performed every repair and service. They were efficient, had all the tools that were needed, and provided us with valuable advice for the future. We couldn't be more pleased with their work. We highly recommend them and we will be utilizing them when we have future needs.

Happy 2024 to Kurt, Alex, and Orlando!!!

Great company, I called as I had smelled gas from our hot water heater and they were able to come the same day. Thomas was very nice and found the problem quickly. he told us what the problem was, and my husband said he could get the part and repair it. He billed us for a service, charge was very reasonable and went off to his next call. Highly recommend this company.

My refrigerated air conditioner stopped working Saturday morning August 11, 2023. Affordable Service Plumbing advertises emergency service. I called the at 7:00AM Saturday morning and they scheduled for the afternoon between 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Never showed up and did not contact me that they were not going to show up. On the following Tuesday they called me and asked me if I still needed emergency service, 3 days late.

If you need emergency service for your AC, this may not be the company to call. NOT dependable.

Had my swamp cooler turned on and a new ADA toilet installed in two separate visits. Chris and Drake switched off my furnace and turned on my cooler. Exceptional service! On time, costs matched the estimate, and both were very professional and kind. A few hours later, the pump blew and Kurt was on my roof within 30 minutes of my call installing a new pump. Chris was back to install a new toilet two days later. Again, cordial, professional, prompt, and very reasonably priced. I just can't recommend Affordable more highly. If you want reliable, professional, and well-priced services, look no further! Thank you to a great group of guys!!

I have a master cool swamp cooler and I hired these guys to get it started for the summer and close it up in the fall so I wanted the service contract. The office said the service contract is $249. I said that's OK. I also said it's gonna need a Master cool pad this year but I don't know how much they are or what size. I said I could go get them if I knew the size. She said the technician will have pads and will know the size. I asked how much are the pads generally and she said it should run somewhere around 100 maybe $150 or so Well they came yesterday to do the work. They opened it up cleaned. It did their thing and a service guy had to go out to get the pad. After a while he came back and installed the pad and then charged an extra $398 for the pad on top of the service contract $249. I looked up the size of the pad because he said he got it at Lowe's and the pad cost $208 at Lowe's. He said he had to buy it from Lowe's and I guess the rest is just mark up. Really ???? He charged me $190 more for a $208 pad. That not service. That's not even the cost of doing business. Basically that's reselling with a high markup. I am not happy with this company. After all the work was done, my girlfriend turned on the cooler and said all it was was one big humidifier so now I don't know what's the problem. Why didn't it cool. It's a large mastercool. I don't think he tested it to make sure it was cooling. In the end he left without even putting the covers back onto the furnace. I had to call the office and tell them and they came back out to fix it. But still that shouldn't happen. Too much in a rush and the quality of the service workmanship goes down.
