If I could give them 0 stars, that would be more accurate. The most unprofessional """"business"""" I have dealt with. My water heater died and since I have a home warranty, AHS sent these people to diagnose the problem. They advised that it needed to be replaced. I wanted to upgrade to a tankless since I didn't want a huge water tank inside my house. I didn't argue over the price and accepted that AHS was only paying a small amount. The day of install, they brought a damaged unit without a manual or any papers, claiming that it was damaged in the box, but no box, however, he would reduce the cost by $780 if I accepted the job """"as is"""". First off, he cut and spliced the electrical cord and just wrapped the wires with electrical tape and just draped it over a shelf bracket. The gas regulator was not secured which left me with a potential fire risk. This would not have passed inspection. My nephew is a plumber who came in to check the workmanship. The point of going tankless is to free up floor space, however, the pipes were place diagonal instead of hugging the wall. Just lazy. I told him that I would pay the original price for a new unit and I wanted it installed properly. He finally came out to replace the 2020 unit with a 2021 model. I got my manual and registration card. He added a bib around the pipe inside. He used a small gauge extension cord. He used straps for the gas regulator. I still wanted the pipes to hug the wall but then he got annoyed saying that he's not making money on this job. Well, if he'd done the job right the first time, he wouldn't have had to do it again and besides, I had agreed to pay the additional $780. It's not my job to tell you your job! When I had this inspected again by a plumber, he discovered that the ground prong on the tankless power cord was cut so that it would fit in the 2 prong extension cord. Once again, this is a fire hazard!! The tank has to be grounded and Justin cut the ground prong off the power cord. I called their office to give them the opportunity to refund the amount it's going to cost me to get a proper company in to fix what he damaged and there has been no response. This has been reported to AHS and I will not let this go. Twice they have left me with a fire hazard.

Horrible experience with this company. They snaked an line and reset a toilet after claiming this would fix the issue. When the problem reoccured 3 weeks later, I was told that their work was not a guaranteed fix and I need to pay them more to come back out and address the issue. If you have a home warranty service do not let them send this company out.

This company is HORRIBLE!!! I paid a service fee for my bathroom sink(stoppage) to AHS and they sent this company on 5/14/21 Wade's 3 techs came to our house this day and put some solution in the sink and told us to continue to pour it in over the wkn and they would be back out that coming Monday to see if it work. Well we didn't hear from them that day so I thought to myself ok maybe they were busy and would reach out to me the next day but NOPE no one called or came. Finally my husband talk or txt Braxton who said sorry they had an emergency that's why he hadn't responded. Ok fine, I understand an emergency but we STILL didn't hear back from them. So I called AHS back so they got them back out to our house on 5/21. That day Wades techs told me that we needed a clean-out(that we had to pay for out of pocket) and they would send someone back out to do that. So after waiting another week AHS had to be the ones to send them back out to do the clean out but when the guys got there they STILL DIDNT do the job on 5/28. They told me that they would send their younger crew back out the next week since it was a Friday to do the digging and complete the job. They even left the material for the younger crew. I have pictures of my yard where they dugout the area and thank God our children didn't get into the septic tank. They NEVER came back!! They call me back 6/7 and said they were headed to my house but the weather LOOK like it was going to rain so they would come the next dayNow at this point Im so frustrated/irritated!! They did call late the next day but by then I already had some one else coming. The new plumber came with no hesitation and fixed the issues. And it wasn't what Wade's said the problem was!! I didn't need a clean-out!! Sorry so long but i hope this is helpful for the next person who's trying to decide on using this company!! AHS were the ones who sent them to me so I didnt get to choose or read reviews first and I hate it!!

Do not use. They did no work and took money. We are contacting the SC Consumer Affairs. They also misdiagnosed our problem which they did not even try to assess. The reviews are telling.

I had an appointment with your company between 2-6 today. As of 8:10 pm I was told someone was on the way and no show! I am so upset with the service I have received from your company. A few weeks ago a tech came out to check my Rheem water heater due to water not getting hot in faucets throughout the house. Three men arrived. When they left our issue was """"fixed."""" By the next day our problem had returned. I received a text from one of the techs and was told that Rheem was sending a door sensor. They came out a couple of days later and installed it. One of the techs told me that this would not solve our problem. He told me that he would get in touch with Rheem, AHS and get this resolved. I have all of this info in texts. After a few days he stopped responding to me. I called your office last Thursday and was promised a call back within 30 mins by Kesha. She never called me back. I called the office the next day and spoke with Megan who assured me that she would get back to me. She never did. I left 3 more messages that day and no return call. Yesterday I called HSA again. I then received a text message saying a tech would arrive between 2-6 today. I called the office around 3:30 and was told """"oh I should have called you, we're running behind but they will be there today."""" I reached out to the tech I spoke with previously and he told me that his supervisor who has been doing this for 30 years would be coming to my house to get to the problem this evening. He stopped responding to me at 8:10 pm and there is no answer at the office. The office number that has texted me isn't responding either. You advertise professional, guaranteed service on your website and I'm getting neither. Honestly, I've never had such poor service from a company. I've already reported this to American Home Shield as well. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

zero starts. Both techs are clueless. they damaged by tank and it is leaking all over. very bad. dont hire them.

This is the most unprofessional and dishonest business I have ever had to deal with. As a business owner I would NEVER hire a receptionist like theirs. She lies to you and dismisses you for WEEKS without doing anything. Their techs diagnose one problem and she reports to you something totally different. They do not support the products that they themselves install that are still under warranty. NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS. DO SO AT YOUR OWN PERIL. Trust me. You're better off trying to fix your problems with a YouTube video than use these guys.

They did not return to finish the work, supposedly waiting on parts. That was over a month ago. What they did fix broke again. I will change this review IF the work is completed.

Your company is a sham. I have been without hot water for three full weeks now. Nobody follows up on anything. I have to keep calling to check on the status of my claim myself. I don't even know what I am paying you for. I have taken unpaid time off work for a scheduled appointment to install my water heater (after it was supposed to have been installed the day before) and nobody showed up. I got zero response from any of my inquiries as to where the technicians were and am STILL waiting.

I was given an expected time of 1-5 pm on 10/21/20 and at 5 pm they had not called or arrived. I called Justin Wade at 5pm and he said he would call the office to see why they had not arrived. Two guys showed up at about 6pm without masks!!!!! One smelled ... actually reeked so heavily of cigarette smoke I had to open the door to air out the foyer when he stepped in. They did not wear shoe protection to protect my floors. They did not do anything to try to repair my whirlpool tub. They refused to go into the crawl space to the access panel to plan a strategy to replace the motor. They said the we're leaving and to buy a new tub. I have not received any paper work to prove they were in my home. I even asked them to look at my hot water heater and give me an estimate to replace but they said they would have the boss to call me. I have called this company 5 times in 2 days and they refuse to call me back. I do not recommend Wade's Plumbing and I will not ever consider using the again. I do not know how they received a 5 Star review, but notice they have supposedly been in business 25 years and have only 1 review. I would give 0 Stars if it were an option. Find another plumbing service.
