Left many messages over multiple days during this company's business hours to have the plumber come to my home but never received a response back.

I filed a plumbing claim through American Home Shield and, by default, was given this company. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Getting in contact with anyone or having them call you back has been a nightmare. AHS set up the appointment, and I called Wades after not hearing from them for a few days. I was finally able to schedule the appointment. Two guys came out, very friendly, and I was informed that they had to order the parts. After a week of hearing nothing and contacting Wades multiple times, I finally got a returned passive-aggressive text message after leaving a voicemail calling them out on their lack of professionalism. A new guy came out with the new part, only to discover that the first two guys didn't do their job correctly and ordered the wrong part. So the leaking tub went on to leak for another week and a half. Again countless calls and texts with no response from Wades until I left another message about their professionalism. (It seems you have to be rude to get any kind of communication with whoever it is that manages the phone - I think her name is Kayla.) She said that the parts should arrive in a few days and I would be given a call. After a few days, nothing. I called repeatedly and finally was able to set up an appointment. The original two guys came back out and fixed the problem. Now I've set alarms for every two hours to call this plumbing """"company"""" to get a statement about the process to turn into my water company to get my water bill adjusted. THIS. COMPANY. IS. AWFUL. Kayla, or whatever the girl's name is, has set the bar very low for my expectations. If she would learn to pick up the phone, return a call, or at the least respond to a text message (automatically sent by Wades Plumbing), I'm sure the reviews for this place would go up. I've never been one to say that anyone should be fired, but she's not doing a great, or even mediocre, job. Either get rid of her and get someone to do her job or get her some help because it's clear she needs it. Maybe after leaving this review, I'll finally get a call back. I'm just sooooooooo ready to be done with them. Save yourself the headache, and do NOT receive services from them.

I had a leak in the upstairs bathroom. This company was sent out by the warranty company AHS. They made 4-5 trips to my house, each time lit was a different set of plumbers. Each time I had to explain the issue in full. The 3rd or 4th set of plumbers cut 2 holes in my ceiling to look at the pipes under the tub. The 2 holes are at my front door as you enter my house. One hole is maybe 6 inches square. The other hole is 16x8 inches. This was done in March. They have not returned to repair the hole. The warranty company has not been able to make contact with them to get the resolved. Horrible customer service.

Terrible service. Unreliable and unprofessional. Came to repair water heater, left a gasleak, still going on after 3 visits. Fails to show up when Ignore my calls and texts. Got their services through HSA even ignored their escalation emergency request for gas leak!

Horrible service. My AHS home warranty assigned them for a request. I had to call multiple times to get the first appt set up. They were 4 hours late and didn't bother to call me that they were late. Didn't fix the issue, said they would have to come back and finish. That has been 5 days and I can't get them to respond and schedule. Ended up using another company. Listen to the reviews, don't use this company.

Poor choice picked by my home warranty company. Came and did not fix our sink blockage problem, said they'd call to reschedule and come back the next day and never did. I even called them a few times and so did the home warranty and they did not pick up or call back. Very unprofessional.

Wades Plumbing in Greer, SC is horrible!!!! I would never call them for anything!! They are crooked!!! I needed a replacement water heater and the home warranty people sent Wades to me. Wades Plumbing told me that in order for them to install the replacement water heater they had to bring it up to code. They gave me a quote of $775 just to bring it to code, the water heater was covered by the warranty. I questioned 2 things on the quote and they removed them. That brought the quote down to $625. They installed the water heater and I had it inspected by a professional after because I was suspicious after they removed the 2 things that I questioned them on. The professional discovered that Wades charged me $150 for a disconnect box that they never put in!!!! They also didn't do a few other things that they said they did and charged me for!! After almost 2 weeks Wades decided to finally return my call only after the home warranty people kept calling them. I'm sure they realized that they would lose business with the warrant people and that's probably the only business they can get!! I would never call them for anything!!!! They lied to me and when I questioned the disconnect box was told """"I saw it in our office with the receipt but didn't know why it was there"""". Really?!?!?! Again please be very aware of this business!!!!!! ZERO stars!!

If I could give them 0 stars, that would be more accurate. The most unprofessional """"business"""" I have dealt with. My water heater died and since I have a home warranty, AHS sent these people to diagnose the problem. They advised that it needed to be replaced. I wanted to upgrade to a tankless since I didn't want a huge water tank inside my house. I didn't argue over the price and accepted that AHS was only paying a small amount. The day of install, they brought a damaged unit without a manual or any papers, claiming that it was damaged in the box, but no box, however, he would reduce the cost by $780 if I accepted the job """"as is"""". First off, he cut and spliced the electrical cord and just wrapped the wires with electrical tape and just draped it over a shelf bracket. The gas regulator was not secured which left me with a potential fire risk. This would not have passed inspection. My nephew is a plumber who came in to check the workmanship. The point of going tankless is to free up floor space, however, the pipes were place diagonal instead of hugging the wall. Just lazy. I told him that I would pay the original price for a new unit and I wanted it installed properly. He finally came out to replace the 2020 unit with a 2021 model. I got my manual and registration card. He added a bib around the pipe inside. He used a small gauge extension cord. He used straps for the gas regulator. I still wanted the pipes to hug the wall but then he got annoyed saying that he's not making money on this job. Well, if he'd done the job right the first time, he wouldn't have had to do it again and besides, I had agreed to pay the additional $780. It's not my job to tell you your job! When I had this inspected again by a plumber, he discovered that the ground prong on the tankless power cord was cut so that it would fit in the 2 prong extension cord. Once again, this is a fire hazard!! The tank has to be grounded and Justin cut the ground prong off the power cord. I called their office to give them the opportunity to refund the amount it's going to cost me to get a proper company in to fix what he damaged and there has been no response. This has been reported to AHS and I will not let this go. Twice they have left me with a fire hazard.

Horrible experience with this company. They snaked an line and reset a toilet after claiming this would fix the issue. When the problem reoccured 3 weeks later, I was told that their work was not a guaranteed fix and I need to pay them more to come back out and address the issue. If you have a home warranty service do not let them send this company out.
