I was planning on giving them 5 stars, but after asking around I realize I was overcharged and I did not get a formal 50 year warranty. They are professional, clean and they know what they're doing. They did not dig up the whole lawn to find the problem because they used a camera (Technology!). For the past 3 years, I have been calling plumbers every 3 months to clear our drains and snake until a huge sewer backup caused me to call VIP Plumbing and Drain Specialist. I needed to see for myself where the problem was. They came in with cameras and within 20 minutes they discovered there was big opening in the main sewer line in the front lawn. The cost of a $79 inspection turned to a $2K repair turned into a $14,000 repair because we had over 70 feet of pipe on the front lawn and 3 additional cracks. After a full day, they provided me with a video of the clean pipes but my initial request was to see a video of where damage was located. I really wanted to see sewage from those 3 cracks. Any case, no more sewage backups, but I talked to my friends and neighbors and they say I have been overcharged and the 50 year guarantee looks flimsy. I really want to give them 5 stars but I also want to keep it real.

My tubs were starting to back up when I used the washing machine, and I quickly realized that I had a problem with my sewer line. Instead of snaking the line and wasting his time/my money, he ran a camera first. Turns out my pipes were full of roots. He got to work right away and replaced about 4ft of my sewer line for a price that beat everyone else. Jose had excellent communication, kept me updated throughout the process, and was very open and honest. Thanks Jose!

I called Jose on a Sunday at 1 pm because my bathtub in my master bath was backed up with black stuff. He and Carlos arrived with masks and shoe covers on that evening. I originally got an estimate to have my drains flushed out and decided to try Yelp for another estimate just to see what would happen. Within 3 minutes I had a quote that was under what I was being told and we negotiated a very fair price. Jose was very communicative and prompt. Within 10 minutes I had an appointment set up for that day. He called to let me know when he was 30 minutes out as promised and he showed up on time. This is going to sound like some advertisement, but they were very polite and courteous and went out of their way to show great customer service. It feels like so many people nowadays treat you as if they're doing you a favor by showing up so this was a very refreshing change.
My drain was maintenanced and things were left clean all in a very quick manner. Without hesitation I recommend VIP Plumbing and Drain Specialists.

First of all, Jose and Carlos took care of us. They gave us options from best case scenario to worst case scenario. This way, there weren't any surprises and considering how old the house is, we expected the worst with no crazy surprise.

They were nice and answered a ton of questions as this was our first time dealing with re-piping. Come to find out, the galvanized piping from the home (garden hose bib down to the ground) was entirely rusted and had holes. It was very bad. Because of this, the dirt under the ground was very moist. This should be something each homeowner should know about because the water bill could be lowered and you won't get hit with a notice from the city (especially in California).

They were able to dig up the galvanized piping to the ground and showed the rusted piping. As they cut into the cement to locate the rest of the piping to the main source, the previous builder used PVC piping with galvanized piping! While the work was being done, they were able to work late into the evening on day one, and even made sure they provided a temporary solution to keep running water for the entire house overnight. They literally hooked us up lol. They were very thoughtful of us and especially my mother-in-law so they made sure we had running water. I am very thankful for that consideration.

The next day, they got all the new copper piping with only 3 couplings and a nice industrial grade bib. Much easier to work with than turning a round or butterfly style handle. This is a nice lever style bib. This is great for the mother-in-law to access water.

They were able to refill the dirt underground and pour in cement in our driveway and even gave us a choice to put back in bricks or cement. We opted for the cement.

After letting the cement cure for about 48 hours (even though we needed 24 hours), the garden hose produced a great flow of water without any leaks. We are happy with the result and I'm confident my upcoming water bill will look better!

To emphasize, before each step of the way, they checked in with us and gave us all the details to let us know of the progress. For those of you who don't like following up because it might seem like a bother, they literally gave us the details step by step of the entire process. Super cool of them. Jose even mentioned plenty of times don't feel like we bother him and ask him all the questions you have. So, don't hesitate and ask away!

Trust me on this review. This is one of the most extensive reviews I've written on Yelp to express how thankful we are of Jose and Carlos' work done here. They were very professional, eager to help, answered all the questions without the run-around. Thanks, Jose and Carlos!

I called Jose and let him quote on three jobs of changing water heater gas line, sediment trap and installing a seismic valve for our house. His is very professional and did his best to accommodate our time. His work is professional, clean, fast and neat. Highly recommend!

Top Notch service and the price was reasonable. I recommend them to anyone that needs plumbing or drain work.

I needed 4 new 8in faucets installed and Jose and Carlos did an excellent job!!! Due to Covid, they wore the proper protection gear on site. They removed the old faucets, replaced them with the new faucets, pop-up and new flex hose. They also replaced the shut off valves for all bathrooms. It took time to do it right, and I'm very happy with the results.

I would definitely hire these guys in the future and recommend them if you are looking for professional plumbing services. Thanks José and Carlos for your hard work!
