I got the name of this company from my HOA manager to provide a maintenance and tune-up to our HVAC unit. I was provided a schedule for 2/6 between 12 noon -5pm. I had requested Angelica that I am only in San Ramon area Mon-Wed and I needed the service done before 2/14 so the 2/6 works well. I got a confirmation text on 2/6 and cancelled an appointment with another HVAC company that was scheduled for Thursday since I was provided an earlier appointment. On 2/7 at 10:32am, I got a call from Cameron saying that they do not have a technician in the area for the 2/6 appointment so it will have to be re-scheduled for 2/7. I was disappointed but do not have a choice anymore since I had already cancelled an appointment with the other company. This is a rental property so I had to notify the renters of the appointment change which is an inconvenient for them.
I am hoping that they will provide a good service despite of the schedule mixed-up since I was planning to use them on 2 of our other properties.

We reached out to Villara as a recommendation from our builder. We paid 207.00 for a house call. Josh left our home and contacted the manufacturer and ordered the needed part. He emailed us 3 quotes. We decided as recommended by the builder to shop around as the prices were quite inflated. We found another company and when they went to order the part, from the manufacturer, we learned Villara had already ordered the part. At this point we are without hot water. We have been on a goose chase for Villara to release this warranties part which they ordered unauthorized without our consent. I have been sent from one person to another over the past week to get this part. Last person I spoke to is Landon a supervisor who indicated he will get this part to us but emphasized that he needs the defective part back ( even though they are not doing the work) This is fine I suppose, but now I haven't heard from Landon on an ETA for this part to get my repair done today. We have 3 children in the home and have been without hot water while on this goose chase. This company is unethical. Please avoid this experience.

I have a new build home that has been dealing with air flow problems since day one, a technician came out to install a damper because the air in my living room was to strong while my three bedrooms were not comfortable. I have been very patient with Villara techs. I have tried to speak to a supervisor or the owner of the company I was told that he would be emailed to call me back fine so I waited no response. i reached back out to the office i was placed on hold and a few times while the office lady was stuttering on why i couldn't speak to the supervisor I asked whats the owner name she told me I have to put you on hold. When she came back on the call she told me to speak with my builder. I have my registers placed in the wrong locations over my doors instead over the windows the tech told me it's by engineered design. One tech came out and bent my vanes on my registers. I also had a helicopter sound that was coming from the attic it was the gas line vibrating against the attic the same tech that bent all my register vanes told he didn't hear it I see they hire people a few people that don't troubleshoot instead rely on the next person or hope you get frustrated and say never mind. I'm fair and understanding but you can'y run the game on me but I hope KB does not use this company on any other projects because because it takes a lot of time and energy to the job completed I have been having issues since last winter through the now December.

On October 31, 2023 a Villara technician came to repair our HVAC which was not coming to heat the house. Two technicians arrived to repair the unit. They said something like the water was not going out through the shoot. We were charged almost $500. After they left the heater worked about five days then stopped coming on. We called them back and 2 different technicians again came to the house. I noticed from the name tags that one of the technician name tag said lead technician. They said the problem was the same as the last time someone was out. Anyway after they left the system worked 3 days. This time we call another company and the tech showed up the same day and fixed the problem for about $100. The problem had nothing to do what the others from Villara called their selves fixing. The problem was that the hose was clogged.

Time for my annual heater/ac and tankless water heater check-up. And, it is about time for me to update my Villara 9/23/21, Yelp review also. The good news is it absolutely remains at 5 stars!
Since that first review, I have had yearly contact with Villara employees for service and checkups. Not only have the technicians been knowledgeable and thorough but always exceeded my customer service expectations. Personable, professional, and efficient. They never let me down. Speaking of customer service, that same dependable service is always on display by the people taking the customer telephone calls. Last week, I had contact with Supervisor, Rosa, Kendall, and Edith several times. I must say they all were SO patient, efficient, and just plain nice. Thank you!
We all know great management is what makes any business successful. So thank you, Emily V.A., for your exceptional management skills and talents. I am your biggest fan!
Villara is a 75-year, locally owned, family business. They have experience! This company wants to provide you with quality service and they will guarantee the work performed. And, who does not love a business with 24-hour availability! Unfortunately, heaters and a/cs do not break down just Monday through Friday, 8 to 5! Same with plumbing problems. Right?
I will end this review with one statement. I am even more impressed with Villara than I was two years ago. That says it all.
Lastly, do yourself a favor and check out the Villara website, and see all the services they provide. It is a quite informative and impressive website.
Here is to lots of cold air in the summer and heat in the winter!:)
Cheers!

Villara technician, Morufu, just left after the inspection of my heater. I am SO impressed! He not only went into attic where the heater mechanics are located but also left me with a copy of all the items he checked AND emailed me the checked heater equipment part photos! Whaaaat? Sure made the right decision going with Villara. Thanks, Morufu! See you in 6 months for the a/c inspection.
Lastly, a shout out to Gwen for helping me sign up for the hvac/plumbing inspections, too. Thanks, Gwen!

Villara is not the cheapest, but it is the best company in this area for a/c service. Most of the technicians are outstanding. They take their time to explain things and are pretty thorough. I recommend them strongly without any hesitation whatsoever.

Unfortunately, our technician Morufu did not listen to our concerns and when he got tired of listening to us.. he left for 30 minutes and only returned when we called him. He said the same thing over and over.. as if we were in the wrong. We called a different technician and he was able to fix the problem. I do not recommend this company

Update: I had another company come out today and the part Villara tried to replace wasn't even broken!!! This company is CROOKED. I am reporting them to the BBB as we speak!
DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKS!! They installed my HVAC system in my new build. The part is covered under warranty but they tried to charge me $400 per hour for labor. The part I needed replaced is $150 on Amazon. I have a honest company coming out to replace my part tomorrow and they said it will take 15/20 minutes to replace. Thanks for NOTHING!!

Villara has installed HVAC on my new home. The system was installed incorrectly. I have two units the 3 ton was installed on 5 ton condenser and 5 ton on 3 ton. When running the 5 ton unit to cool off the house has to run non stop 24 hrs and would not cool off the house. After several follow ups an advance tech finally showed up and realize the system was installed originally wrong. When I followed up with their corp office for cost out of pocket all they offer is to cover warranty on unit only if goes down. as to reimburse $$$ for out of pocket they refused. When I said then have to deal with this legally. They flag my address and refuse to make any repairs on a system they installed and still under warranty.

We decided to call Villara after the previous plumber could not fix our plumbing problem. Thank God Jeshua the home service technician at Villara was not only able to find the leak but was also able to fix the problem. Jeshua was knowledgeable about the problem and was wanting to help us elderly folks without charging us a fortune. He was a very respectful, professional, and knowledgeable technician. We look forward to hiring Villara from now on for all our plumbing needs. We will definitely tell our neighbors and send new customers their way. Thank you Villara and thank you Jeshua!!!!- Felix and Irene Perez
