I called Village Plumbing to flush out the water heater because it makes a banging noise, I saw on YouTube how to flush it out. The man comes in with a bucket and a little hose. He drains out some water and tells me that's all he can do. And gives me a bill. This is a bunch of BS.
WHAT is with this plumbing company? I used them to install new shutoff under kitchen sink and faucet. Took the guy about 20 minutes. Good work, I thought. Turns out he lied to his office and told them he was here longer--""turned off the water to supply to my building, waited the 2 hours or so it took, then fixed my shutoff to my unit"" before doing this other work.
NONSENSE. He wasn't here long enough to drain all those pipes, and he only billed me for the work done. WHY did he lie to his office and say it took longer than it did? LONG lunch break???? Cat nap in his vehicle? Won't be calling them again. Only way I learned this is because I called for another job and the office mgr spilled the beans......
Les S.It was the day before Thanksgiving and we were agressively using the garbage disposer when it caused a clog in the pipes and water started erupting on the other side of the dual sink. I called Village Plumbing explaining that this was an emergency situation and within a couple hours Chuck was ringing our doorbell. He did a great job (as usual) unclogging the drain and saved an almost tragic Thanksgiving. I must say that Village is great to work with having called them a few times in the past for various plumbing needs. I highly recommend them.
What a great company! Eric (owner) was a pleasure to deal with. After getting ripped off by ABC plumbing (you can read my negative review on ABC), it was refreshing dealing with Village.
Water wasn't getting to my boiler. They took off the feeder and that wasn't the problem. They cut the ceiling and replaced a pipe that was completely clogged by rust (along with fixing a couple of small things on my boiler and water heater) for $446 total.
I will be using Village Plumbing exclusively from now on!
Village plumbing came to my home for the annual inspection of the fire suppression system. Technician was on time, friendly, and answered some of my questions regarding the system and my plumbing setup. Given this experience I decided to have them install a whole home water filtration system (which I purchased elsewhere). Again, technician was on time, answered my questions about any modifications needed to a 'standard' installation, and then went above and beyond by installing 2 shutoff valves, a pressure relief valve AND a bypass - so the system ever has a leak or fails the home will still have water. Reasonably priced, efficient, and willing to educate the homeowner. The quoted price was the charged price for both items. I will recommend them to friends and use them again should the need arise.
Never used Village Plumbing before but I'll definitely use them from now on. Showed up on time, fixed a clogged kitchen sink and installed a new kitchen faucet. Looks great, works great, totally reasonable price.
X K.With everything going on in the world today, customer reviews have become an essential indicator of how businesses interact with their clients, having said that Village Plumbing is by far the best plumbing company I've used. Pricing was excellent as well as their level of service. If you want you plumbing done once and right Village Plumbing is the only choice
Albert J.Our hot water tank stopped working on Thursday. Called Village Plumbing and they were out on Friday. Cheryl said let's check the system first before replacing the whole unit for cost saving purposes. Eric came out and determined there was a leak in the tank so, replacement was needed. Jimmy delivered a new unit and within an hour we were back in business with hot water. Great service, quoted price is what we paid, friendly and professional people. Thank you!
Good service, but overpriced. I've used Village Plumbing several times over the years and I've always found that they know their stuff and do good work. The office staff is very professional and answers and returns calls promptly and I've almost always been able to get someone out same day or next day, so those areas are all very positive. Really, they deserve a 4 to 5 star for their service but their pricing has really started to irk me the past couple of times I've used them, which is causing me to leave a 3.
Today I had someone over for a leaky pipe and a loose faucet handle. Turns out they were both very easy fixes that required no replacement parts to be used. The gentleman worked for literally less than 15 min and I was charged $135. I had a similar experience a few months ago and after that told myself I wouldn't call Village again and I needed to shop around. Their convenience and good service brought me back but once again I'm annoyed. I know plumbers are expensive and I am fully prepared to spend ~$90 as the minimum for a house call but $135 for pretty much just showing up and having to tinkle with something for a few minutes is steep.
Unless I seem to have a major plumbing problem that requires a highly trained specialist I'll need to find a handyman or more reasonably priced plumbing service going forward.
I called 3 plumbers to ensure I would receive fair and competitive quotes to fix a leaking bathtub faucet. My conversation with Chuck (Plumber) was upfront and straightforward and he even gave me a Senior discount on top of coming in with the best bid. They showed up in a timely manner and was clean and professional. He had the proper tools and replacement parts to complete the repair in under 1 hour. I'm extremely satisfied and would recommend Village Plumbing to all.
