This was the worst A/C company I ever dealt with. During a recent A/C coil exchange the repairmen did significant damage to the house. The repairmen were rude and stupid and l ft the house filthy. Consumer beware of this company!

I had heard an ad over 2 weeks ago on am radio- I tuned in late- called set up appointment
with Kerrie a rep and I wanted to verify what all was covered in this promotion on the radio.
I was concerned about 2 things- the blower moter in my attic and the Condensor or compressor coils that were in the attic. I asked specifically if they were going to clean these 2 things in the attic. She said yes. I asked her this twice. again response was yes included in the promo. They couldnt make the first appointment even after 4 time confirming it that very day they were to be out. I rescheduled till today and the tech came out and did not do these things I was told By Kerrie they were going to do. They refunded my money- Big deal- I wish they would have done what this person said they were going to do. In my cell phone after the missed appointment 2 weeks ago- I added the number to my phone and it is labeled w her name and the word liar. Then I get a call from another manager that said the owner Monica Ryan can not handle this problem- I guess that last manager does not think too highly of the owners skills. I believe they probably will not forward my request to speak to Monica Ryan.
The manager told me later in the call he said saw emails go by and he mentioned he saw the message that I wanted to talk to Monica- I believe thats why he called. BAD First impression and my word of mouth advertising from me will be to avoid this company at all costs. I believe I was lied to so I would probably make Kerrie's quota to get people signed up for the promo they were running.

We called village plumbing because a pipe cracked due to the city of houston's stupidity. They sent 3 guys to dig up our yard and replace the pipe who couldn't speak English. We left after a few minutes because there was no water in our house. They worked on it for probably 4 hours and then called us to say the water was back on. We came home and found out that the water was still not on, even after they replaced the pipe. We called the supervisor, Abrahan and he told one of his guys to come and get the water on. It's been 2 hours and no one has shown up and the supervisor is assuming no responsibility for getting the job done right. Unbelievable. This is our first and soon to be last time using Village Plumbing.

They got my $60 for giving me an outrageously high estimate. A leaking bathroom sink faucet requires a new cartridge that costs over $320 (Lowes sells them for $14.99). So over $650 to replace two cartridges in a bathroonm sink when similar brand new faucets are $340 at teh Lowes. Replacing the main line valve is a $900 job. Thus fixing 4-5 leaking faucets and replacing one leaking valve comes out to a total of $3000+. I can tolerate a slow leak for this much money and I can pay for hundreds of thousands of gallons of water than to support these people.

I spent over $8K with this plumbing company a year ago on getting the horizontal pipes replaced in my house. When the joint broke on christmas day and water is coming out of the ceiling and walls they did not even return my calls.
I will never use this plumber again.

Well they sure got my $59. As is the case for many plumbing services - they'll refuse to give you any quote over the phone. And I certainly understand that you could give a quote, then have the technician arrive at the property only to find a whole host of issues or find the issue was under explained over the phone. So to save their own hides - NO phone quotes. But I had a very simple issue - a clogged washer drain - and just wanted to know the price range. This was for my tenant's home so I just needed to have it fixed right away and let her return to normal life.
So the plumber arrives and looks around then says we need to snake it - that which of course I knew and had asked about the price to do so. He flips open this book with laminated sheets and finds the "snake a washer drain" item line and it reads $291. This is the number I knew existed but the woman on the phone wouldn't disclose it. Of course that is ungodly high, outrageous, and ridiculous. I declined the service but they got my $59 for coming out and reading me the price in person from the holy price book.
Was this ever resolved? Yes. I took note of the machine the plumber was going to use had I agreed on the price then went to Home Depot and rented one at $30 for 4 hours of use. It was a 25 ft electric drain snake and it did the job.

I don't even know how long this review is going to be... but hang with me. First of all, over a week ago, we noticed our hot water pressure in our shower/tub was not working. We could get very hot water, but it barely trickled out. So we called Village. The next day, they sent Dusty to our condo. My fiance' met him and he immediately diagnosed the problem as our water heater. Said everything was old, etc. and he'd get a permit and be out the following Wednesday (December 16) to install a new one. He didn't even look at the shower/tub (which I also blame my fiancé for because he should've made him look at it). We put $946.00 on a credit card, which was half for the new hot water heater & installation. Then we did all the arrangements, had my mother come over to the house, etc. on Wednesday to sit and wait.
Meanwhile, I had thought about it, looked over the estimate and something just kept telling me, what if the new heater doesn't fix the pressure problem? So we called Dusty 2 days prior to our scheduled date and he ASSURED us that the new water heater would fix the problem. And he would wait to fill up the tank and make sure it worked before he left.
Wednesday 10 a.m. comes and Dusty doesn't show. 11:00 comes and he still hasn't shown. My fiancé texts him (Dusty's request was to get texts rather than calls). He mentions that oh, he's busy and not going to make it out today - but maybe tomorrow. We said NO. We had made lots of arrangements and needed him out today as he and Village had promised. My fiancé drove to Village's office and explained the situation. They too wanted to re-schedule but when we said no, they said "ok, we have a really good technician, David, who can come." So we agreed to let David come out. About half an hour later (I'm at work) my mom calls me and says "David is here and he wants to talk to you." So David got on the phone and explained that we did not need a new water heater at all (eventually we will but not today) and that a new water heater would not solve the water pressure problem. He advised me all he needed to do was replace a cartridge in the faucet and it would be about $300.00. I was happy, to say the least, but also really stressed out from all the issues. So he finishes up, we pay him $285 (on a separate credit card from the one we originally used) and all was well.
After all was said and done, I called Village back and explained that they were very lucky this had all worked out the way it did. They said they were very very sorry and would get the paperwork together to issue a refund to my credit card for the $946.00. Throughout the day I rec'd several calls from Village asking again what had happened, how sorry they were and how they were working really hard to issue the credit back. Blanca called and told me a story about how she had dealt with something similar so she "understood." This a.m., I received yet another call from a man who wanted to hear the story yet again and then he began to tell me how great village was for their "checks and balance system". This was NOT the case. Dusty lied about his schedule and that's the only reason we found out the truth from David. So this caller again assures me they are getting the paperwork ready to issue our refund. (Funny how quick they can take it out but refunding it is a different story). Finally 3 hours later, I called Village back, not happy, and Blanca answered. I told her I wanted the refund issued immediately and didn't want to tell stories anymore or hear about paperwork. She kept saying "calm down so I can help you." REALLY? She finally calls me back, asks for the credit card info which I gave her. Then right after that she calls again and tells me she just called and issued the credit.
The end of the story is, I called the credit card co 5 hours after she claims to have called in the refund. They had not gotten any such call. So I disputed the amount and now Village can deal with the credit card. I just can't understand, why knowing they were wrong and the credit needed to be issued, that they would continue to hold off on crediting me and continue to call and want to talk about it.
Never again - and be warned.
In fairness, I am grateful to David for telling us the truth and fixing the part correctly.

A highly proficient and capable team of professionals. I'm biased but this is definitely a straight forward opinion.

Prompt, professional, polite and punctual. The dispatchers were great coordinators and kept me informed. Our licensed plumber, David, showed up 10 minutes early for our 9am appointment, and he finished our water heater installation by 11am, as promised. He took the time to explain the system, answered questions, and was overall very helpful and courteous.

The technician Geoff W. did a very good job and was quite helpful and provide a very good explanation of what was wrong with my heating system.
My only complaint was that I was not told when I spoke with Kerry early in the morning was that if I missed the call, then they would not wait a few minutes for me to return the call and that that available technician would be sent to someone else and I would go back on the waiting list. I missed Joel's call as I do not keep my cell phone on me at all times and so missed his call by a few minutes. That was extremely frustrating to me. This is the reason for a 3 star rating.
