Walter responded to my call for what I thought was a leaky sewer pipe under my house because of a bad smell. He came promptly and quickly figured out that a dead animal of some sort was causing the smell. I got a good trustworthy vibe from him, so since he was there, I remembered that I had a water heater I wanted to replace behind my studio so I showed it to him and he gave me a reasonable price and in a few days came and installed the heater. He did a great job, was very efficient and friendly. I'd definitely use him again for my plumbing needs.

I had an external sewer line overflow and even in just explaining what happened, Villacortas knew what was happening. He didn't have any openings until Monday but since it was an emergency he actually referred me to another company that he knew would be affordable. Which was cool that he was like, you need help. I can't help but I'll send you somewhere you can get some!

Anyway, that company was too busy, so I called a third. Who was nice enough to come out and then say we needed over $1000 worth of work. It seemed high but I don't know enough about plumbing to say otherwise. Then I thought to call Villacortas back just to ask if the quote was on of if my instinct was correct.

He asked a few questions to clarify the scope and agreed that the cost was high and gave me an idea of where it should land.

I've never been so grateful I had to come here and write a review. It's so easy to take advantage of people who aren't in your field. And even though Villacortas couldn't fix my plumbing, he definitely helped me out. He's now saved as ""plumber"" in my phone.

Walter was amazing! We had a plumbing emergency come up and he was extremely responsive to come provide a free estimate and then was quickly able to perform the work during a busy holiday week! He was patient to answer all questions over text and always arrived timely.

Walter is excellent. We have had plumbing issues since we moved in, in March 2020. We had several plumbers come through our home warranty and referrals, yet no one solved the lack of hot water and low pressure issues but they did take our money to fix things they promised would solve these issues. Last month, I found Walter on Yelp and decided to take a chance. Suffice to say, not only did he solve the lack of hot water and low pressure issues, he restored my faith that there are good people out there who want to and know how to do a good job, now we can have both showers running, plus another appliance, it's magical! We had a plumbing emergency and were looking for someone to help us right away. Walter was quickly responsive and was able to come out within 24 hours to not only give us a quote but also finish the project. He was fast, professional, knowledgeable and cleaned up the whole area when he was done. He was also very honest and didn't try to oversell us on anything. We had another company give us a quote the day before and they were trying to charge us literally 10x the price that Walter quoted. Plus the final project looked and worked fantastic.

Walter Villacorta is a gentleman and a scholar. With any skilled trade, there is an art and the science to it. Walter is a master of the science, but does not skip the art. I had him install a pressure regulating valve and he made sure to do the job RIGHT. Not only technically correct, but those small steps like debriding a fresh cut pipe and big steps like thinking of how we may use the system in the future and taking pains to install not just what I asked for, but what I may need in the future as well. Trust is also important and Walter has my full trust and confidence after this experience. He's a down to earth fellow who's a master of his craft at a reasonable price. What else can you ask for?
