For everyone who gave Villa Plumbing 1 or 2 stars, all I can say is that unfortunately, I have to agree with all that you have said.
American Home Shield referred me to Villa Plumbing to fix a slow leak in the toilet tank pass-through of the refill valve. This should have been a simple job. I would have done it myself but figured since I'm paying for the insurance, I'll have a pro do it.

Well, it took Villa Plumbing over three weeks, numerous phone calls, and three trips to the house to finally get the job done!

During the 2nd visit on a Friday, the plumber said he'd be back on Monday with either a new part or new washer for the old part. After waiting until Wednesday of the following week, after several calls I was then told that they would have order the part and it wouldn't arrive until the following Wednesday. What ever happened to FedEx? Or OSH/Lowes for that matter?

When the following Wednesday arrived and I called to find out when they were coming (after several more calls), I was told that it wouldn't be until the following Tuesday! Wouldn't you think that they would have scheduled my appointment a week before based on when the part was going to arrive, knowing that this was the toilet in the master bedroom which just might be useful to have working again? Instead, they waited for the part to arrive, and for me to call, to finally schedule a time to complete the job. After so many calls to Villa Plumbing, I could only laugh at the lack of reality in the message they play when you are on hold.

The two servicemen were very polite, and I could only feel sorry for the girl taking the phone calls (she must have to put up with a lot of angry callers), but the entire operation is so poorly run that I will never use them again. There is no excuse for a professional plumber to take over 3 weeks to fix a toilet refill valve.

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE!!! We were also referred to Villa Plumbing by AHS Home Warranty (too bad AHS is still affiliated with them after all these negative reviews I see). We had a simple faucet replacement to do. The plumber who did it claimed the water shutoff valve on the sidewalk didn't shut off the water all the way, so he shut it off from the street. He mentioned that it was really tight on there, so he had to crank it really hard with his key.

Half a day later, we had a new faucet (which was fine), along with a puddle forming in the front yard. We lifted the cover on the water shutoff in the sidewalk, and it was filled with water. It being Saturday, we called Villa's ""24-hour emergency service"" and no one responded to our dispatch call. Fast forward 16 hours and 5 calls later, and finally a plumber showed up at our house. He came to take a look at it, and the first thing he did was start asking things like, ""Hmmm, so it wasn't like this before?"" It was clear they were getting ready to skirt around their responsibility and tell us we caused it. Before he could do anything (including shutting off the water supply which was still spewing water), he had to call his boss, A.J. He claimed A.J. told him he'd need to find out if this is covered on our warranty before they could begin work! Apparently, A.J. was looking to get paid for fixing the damage they caused!!! I protested, and asked to speak to A.J. on the phone. When I began my rant, he HUNG UP ON ME! He called his plumber back and told him to leave our house, that he couldn't talk right now because he was on the road, and that he'd get back to me when he got home. After carrying my phone all day and calling their dispatch service five more times, I never heard from him.

Meanwhile, the leak turned into a hole, and water began pouring out of the ground, flooding our yard so that we had an 8-inch deep lake, growing every minute. Realizing that Villa Plumbing was NOT going to come through, we called the water company and they shut off our water. The water guy also confirmed that the aggressive forcign of the valve jostled our old pipe enough to cause a leak, and he ALSO asked why the plumber would have shut off the water at the street rather than on the house. I told him how he claimed our valve didn't work, and he tested it, and it worked just fine!

Two days and countless phone calls later, we were still without water and had to call a decent, ethical, competent plumbing service to fix the pipe that Villa Plumbing broke. The valve had been cracked, and the lengthy period of leaking had caused the pipe to burst. We paid $850.

I'm pretty disappointed with the service I received from Villa Plumbing. Our home warranty referred this company to us, and I don't know why they would do such a thing because now the home warranty company looks bad. I think they need to reevaluate whom they're partnering up with.

Scheduling with Villa was already off to a bad start. The lady who called told us that we could only choose between two different 4-hour windows. Either from 9am to 1pm, or 1pm to 5m. Pretty large chunks if you ask me, which made things inconvenient in terms of one of us having to skip work to be at home. We chose the 9am to 1pm window, but just the day before, the lady called back and told us that they weren't available anymore and had to push us off to the 1pm-5pm window. Frustrating, because now I had to take the entire day off due to this last-minute change.

The plumber who came to our house was nice, but he did not fix our plumbing issues. He said that he needed to order a part for our tub's faucet head and that he would come back in a week to fix the tub. He also mentioned that they would schedule a time with me. I didn't hear back from Villa after that. In fact, I was the one who had to call back and inquire about our status. The lady on the phone told me that she would call me back on the same day, but she never did. I was super frustrated by this point, and decided to call our home warranty back to file a complaint. They then referred me to Beekman's Plumbing, whom we had used once before when we first moved into our house and we loved them. Sure enough, Beekman's came out and fixed our problems asap, and we haven't had any trouble since.

The funny thing is, on the day that Beekman's arrived, Villa Plumbing finally gave me a call back and said that they wanted to schedule 2 weeks out. I literally laughed out loud and said that we already had another plumber come out and fix everything. I just thought it was funny that they finally called me back (after 1.5 months, btw) on the day that we had another plumber come.

Anyway, I hope they will read these Yelp reviews and realize that they need to change a few things in order to get business. It really isn't that hard to follow through with what you promise your customers, and to deliver your promises.

Had a leak in my master bedroom. AHS sent Villa plumbing out and they cut several holes in my ceilings and walls to try and isolate where the leak was. After 5 holes they found the leak in my master bedroom where I had recently had hardwood floors put in and the installation crew had put a nail into the cold water pipe!

Villa told me that AHS would cover all the wall holes except the texture and painting. After he left AHS said they would not cover that. Villa patched my cold water pipe but the job was not to code and the plumber made a straight pipe into a weilding nightmarish S curve so that I couldnt safely lay drywall back over the pipe! He also burnt the plastic seal on the baseboard and burned a hole in the baseboard with his torch causing even more damage.

Several calls to AHS to have Villa come out and fix this job and they steadily refused to make it right. Avoid this place at all costs!

This was a home warranty call on a leaky toilet. The toilet had a very tiny leak... not a big deal.

This gruff plumber with a bad attitude showed up who clearly hates his job. He instantly starts complaining that there is a problem and he is going to have to break the toilet, which wasn't true. He ends up pulling the toilet without any significant problem. He decides it is too big of a job for him (2-3 hour job), and just picks up and leaves without even cleaning up his mess, and leaving my family of 5 without a toilet. When I ask how long it will take them to return, he says 8 days. Clearly, this is unacceptable, and I am able to negotiate it down to 5 days. Still, it is hard to understand how he can show up and not be prepared for a 2-3 hour job.... what home repair takes much less than 2-3 hours? Answer: not many. I guess he expected it to be a 20 minute quick fix???

So basically, he wasn't prepared to do much of anything except leave us without a toilet.

P.S.- I am an Architect with many years of experience in the construction industry, and I know bad contractors when I see them... these guys are pathetic.

Called them for an appointment lat eat night. a Gentleman answered and scheduled me from 12 - 1 for a plumber to come out and solve my issue (Major clog) and that I'd receive a call before the 12 - 1 appointment.

By 2pm I was getting frustrated and used my phone to redial the same number. Girl answered and told me they didn't take calls that late and they don't schedule from 12-1. They were also booked for the entire week. What a complete waste of time.

They really deserve a ZERO... DON'T JUST LOOK AT MY REVIEW, THEY HAVE A LOT OF BAD REVIEWS ON YELP.

I was referred to them by our home warranty company. What a huge joke that was, I called the home warranty company on Tuesday, Villa Plumbing never called me back until Wednesday. This company never answers the phone (I tried to call them several times) your put on hold listening to music and then after several minutes you get transferred to a voice mail system.

Finally they went to the house on Wednesday but could not replace the hot water heater until Monday! REALLY - Monday??? A plumbing company that does not have hot water heaters in stock??? How Funny?!?!

Plus they want to charge another $200 to install a hot water heater which is under warranty. THEY ARE HORRIBLE, NEVER USE THEM!

Stay away from Villa plumbers!! I wish I had read the reviews before, I would have fired both my first american warranty company and their puppet plumbers'Villa Plumbing'

After 15 visits by different other plumbing companies the first american warranty sent the worst plumber and most dishonest people I have ever come across 'Villa Plumbers'. Contrary to what I read above both Jacob and Stella are extremely unprofessional and dishonest. If a toilet is not running in the last 3 months of course its broken but they were unable to resolve either the issue or get it replaced and in their last visit made up a story that 'a foreign object' known as baby wipe came out of the toilet. Well I have a 5 year old toddler no baby that I use the wipes anymore especially down the flush its a broken toilet why would I further spoil it. He did not bother to tell me anything after declogging and saved his back and inefficiency by making up a story only first american insurance company can buy. Also lays the blame on my finely working drains too. When my other toilets also connected to the drain are doing great . Not once does he mention anything to us. They think we are fools..its not about not being able to complete a job its about lack of ethics and sincerity by them, What more can you expect from the american home warranty and their nexus. I am counter claiming by independent review of my bathroom and drains will never recommend this warranty company and Villa plumbing to anyone.

Please spend the money and save your time. It was better if I had put in my bucks and got a brand new toilet instead!! good learning..please learn from our mistakes!!

Thank you for making me spend $60 on a plug and good trap! My plumbing still leaks. American home shield keeps telling us they will call us back and never do. We are waiting for out reimbursed $60 from the plumbing. Still hasn't arrived. It took 2 people to also tell me that my oven top needs to be replaced. The first guy had no clue and the second guy had a better clue..he said it was unfixable. Fine, American home shield said they would call with an estimate withing 24 hours. four days later...we called them back! American home shield should never be used. nor should Villa plumbing until they get real plumbers that care about their job, and care that they have a job!
