A leading HVAC service provider, we assist homeowners from Parrish to Ellenton. We offer competitive costs. Here at Veteran Air, we commit to providing with honor and dedication. We also contribute to community organizations.
Often, customers ask us, “How did you choose Veteran Air derive from?” Here’s the story.
From my background, my relatives has a long history of supporting our nation. My parents was a dedicated patriot with a generational legacy. Both dad and brothers served in our military. Growing up, my father instilled lessons of decency, courtesy, and compassion. Carrying on my heritage, I joined the armed forces and was stationed in the 11th Armored Cavalry as a combat medic.
Today, my youngest Joseph is currently enlisted in the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell.
As I built my business, I focused on helping Veterans, police, emergency responders, and first responders. They deserve it, and I will consistently provide them a bit more, just as they continue to do for our community.
Over the last twenty years in the cooling field, I realized that I valued the interactions I shared with the elderly in our neighborhood, especially those who served our country in overseas conflicts. The stories they shared would keep me in their homes long after I completed the repair of their cooling equipment, and I realized myself discounting the fees I delivered them and putting in extra effort, as though I owed it to them.
As I advanced, I continued on helping veterans, police, firefighters, and first responders. They have earned it, and I always offer them a special consideration, just as they continue to do for our community.

We do NOT recommend Veteran Air. We hired them to move our two HVAC units several feet. We were told it would take half a day, one day at most. It took TWO days. They had an electrical issue that they only discovered after their second electrician came to our home because the first electrician """"didn't know local code"""" as if that's an excuse- they bill themselves as a """"premium service,"""" but apparently lack knowledge of local code. They agreed that removing the existing concrete pad was included in the price, but they did not remove it- we did. The manager who signed the contract with us has ghosted our calls and texts- about the concrete pad removal and the problem they caused with our unit. Their moving our units caused a problem because they worked fine before Veteran Air touched them. When we called them back to fix it, they didn't actually fix the problem because it is back again. The tech who supposedly fixed it never followed up with us to ensure it was still working correctly. The system itself is less than 2 years old, and worked perfectly. The job was to move the two condensers, run a new lineset, route the electrical, and remove the old pad. After the move the last tech described it as a """"line restriction"""", which still isn't fixed. The downstairs unit isn't able to keep up and it's humid in the house. To add insult to injury, when scheduling the callback I was advised we might be charged for the call. I responded it worked perfectly before Veteran Air touched them. I just want them to stand behind their work.

don't waste your money on pre-maintenance program. they put our system in for us and sold us a prepaid maintenance program. we set appointments months ahead and then waited in the 4hr window for them not to show up and they set another, happens again and then tells us no appointment for two months. this happened last year. DONT Do THE pre-Maintenance program.

If I could give negative stars I would do so. This is a bait and switch company, that promises to service your a/c unit and actually sells a annual plan called tune up & no breakdown gaurantee. However, after they take your money for the first service, they tell you they will contact you in 6 months to schedule your next service, but they fail to do so. When a year passes by an they don't show up, and your A/C stops working, their only response is to pay them another $189 and they will come out and look at your unit to tell you if they can fix it and then charge you more. The only communication we received from them after the initial service, was a weekly email trying to sell us some product or upgraded service. They are a scam and frauds and I regret that we ever did business with them!

Had Veteran Air install a new $10,000 unit in 2022. 6 months later, middle of summer in FL, the unit stopped. Was charged $300 to clear the drain. Tech confirmed the drain hadn't been cleared when the new system was installed. Was quoted $450 to reroute the drain. Another company quoted $250. Stay far away. New owners, corner cutters. Oh, and the tech tried to upsell a quarterly service contract. As IF!

The absolute worst service in the past year. I have left multiple message because I can't reach a I've person. I have not received a callback and it's been days. They have canceled appointments , moved appointments without consulting me. they book months in advance, they are too big and can no longer their current customers.

This so called business should be ashamed of themselves using the word VETERAN !!!!! No VETERAN would ever treat a VETERAN like i was treated being a first time customer. I am a 75 year old Vietnam Veteran Combat Marine who fought for this country so people like this can use the name VETERAN to scam people !! REALLY !! After nearly a week in the hospital i came home Feb 18 th to discover that my tankless hot water heater was not working, On the internet i discovered this business. Stating they were open 7 days a week i called to be told yes they were making house calls but being Sunday i would have to pay $ 129.00 and change on my credit card before they would send anyone out which i agreed to. When the technician arrived he spent about an hour on his phone trouble shooting the problem. It turned out to be a simple fix. Shut the breaker off wait ten minutes and reset which worked. Bingo!! Great. Now the good part. Instead of the $39.95 they quoted for visit i was charged another $297.00 on top of the $129.00 for a total of $426.00 !! I don't even know if they knocked off 10% for me being a VETERAN. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. PLEASE DO NOT THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY USE THE WORD VETERAN!! THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THEY DON""""T DESERVE EVEN 1 STAR EXCEPT THE TECHNICIAN WAS OUTSTANDING

Hard sale before even looking at the AC's Last year since this company was merged with another company we noticed when servicing our 4 Ac's at home and our 4 Ac's at a rental the pressure to buy more services have become non-stop pressure by the representatives. At this point we are concerned that the service personnel are less sincere but instead are being pressured to SELL, SELL and SELL.

Definitely not the same company I've used since 2016. I'm going to be looking at someone else, probably Wentzel's to get the smaller family feel. I cant recommend Veteran Air anymore as of December 2023. I just had to haggle for a condenser switch going bad on a 12,000+ a/c system installed in 4/22. I just had someone here for maintenance less than 2 months ago to check and fix and he never brought the issue up. It was our current tech Pat Smith who did the entire job, bundled up messy wires for the next tech and double-checked everything. He's the kind of tech I'm accustomed to but rarely get nowadays. Kevin H is the best but it feels like a different company. The plumbing service was sub-par. I'm exploring elsewhere, the prices have gotten crazy because I feel they've grown beyond the small, very professional, buttoned-up feel.

We went to Veterans Air due to their """"supposed"""" service, but after the company was sold the service went in the bucket. Constant nickel and dime you even when they said they would fix the AC unit. Not only was this never fixed, but charges for extra items so the AC wouldn't clog were a misleading, as they still charged for the service call. Now the whole unit is out right before the holidays. Beware these 5 star reviews you may see. They are not a true statement to what is going on at this business. No return calls from supervisors either. Look at Next Door also. Never will recommend them to anyone!

Terrible service, rude telephone contact. Does not keep appointments and give the run around
