Moreover partner with local organizations.

Regularly, people ask us, “How did you choose Veteran Air derive from?” Let me share the story.

On both heritage, my relatives has a deep history of supporting our country. My father was a dedicated patriot with a family background. Both dad and brothers fought in our military. In my upbringing, my father imparted lessons of respect, kindness, and integrity. Following my family, I enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the 11th Armored Division as a combat medic.

Currently, my youngest Joseph serves in the 101st Airborne Division at Campbell, Kentucky.

As my career progressed, I focused on helping Veterans, law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders. They have earned it, and I always provide them a bit more, just as they have done for our country.

Throughout my twenty years in the HVAC field, I found that I cherished the interactions I spent with the elderly in our local area, especially those who defended our freedom in military service. Their sacrifices would hold me in their homes long after I wrapped up the repair of their HVAC systems, and I found myself reducing the costs I provided them and going the extra mile, as though I was compelled to give back.

As I built my business, I continued on assisting military personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and first responders. They warrant our support, and I always give them a special consideration, just as they have done for our community.

If you don't mind being screwed this company is for you. I had a consultation with Jon 7/21/22 for a new AC unit. I had a Trane to start with & wanted the same. For over 30 mins he bashed Trane stating they have coil problems ,they cant get parts & they have poor customer service. He talked me into a York. He stated I would never have to wait for parts as they are a Diamond dealer, never have to pay for any service calls or parts for 10 years & York has better customer service. I pointed out the bad reviews for York but he insisted that Trane had just as many problems due to coil problems. I went on to ask if the installers were experience & he said yes. I signed a contract 7-21-22 for almost 10000 dollars with 450 dollars of that amount going towards extra duct work. They came the next day for install I ask the service techs how long they had been installing a/c units & they told me 6& 7 months. Well from day one the AC unit has not working properly. They finished install around 130 pm & by 630 pm the AC was stuck at 79 degrees &would not cool the house. I called York that day & said I want the AC removed. At 7pm I get a call from Veterans Air stating to give them a chance to fix the problem. (Please note there were other problems with install which they fixed) They told me a specialist would come out & make sure everything was running correctly. My house wasn't cold although the thermostat was reading 75 the air was stagnant & not crisp in any way.Chris comes out on 8/17 to inspect the unit. I continue to tell him my house doesn't feel cool like when I had my Trane. He inspected & said there was a minor problem with the pressure & a part needed to be replaced to make the system run at peak performance. On 10/25 he comes back & works on the unit replaced the part & I was told there was another problem they need to fix. Still having problems with ac getting stuck at 79 degrees. On 11/23 this new guy shows up with this big part. I asked what is that for? He said it was the coil for my air handler. I said what ? I made him call Chris and asked Chris what was going on. I said to him you never told me there was a coil problem. I was furious.Note how long I had to wait for the part. As the tech was unpacking the item I started to take pictures and he asked me why.. I said I want to have proof of the work you are doing. He then told me that I would be given an invoice for the work that I would sign. I told him I have never received an invoice for any of the work only the signed contract. I called the office to demand the invoices and they sent them over. Well when I opened the invoices it was stated they replaced TXV and will be replacing the coil..both invoices they forged my name. I was never told the coil needed to be replaced for a reason & that was because they knew I would have insisted the unit be removed.I requested a supervisor come out..we went round & round. He told me I would never be satisfied & I was the problem. He asked what I wanted. I told him take the unit back as it's not working properly even after the coil replacement. I was willing to pay for the duct work & for them to uninstall it. He said done let me call the office. He came back &said someone will call tomorrow. The next day Kevin the owner called & this is what he said. I'm not taking the unit back & I am putting you on the no service list.10000 dollars flushed down the toilet. On 12/28/22,a very cold day I turned on the heat it would not work. I called Bowen Air to come out who is a certified York dealer & this is what they told me. The unit was wired wrong& they had to wire the whole unit again costed 255 dollars . To this day my house never feels cold. The air is stagnant the humidity runs in the mid to upper 60's range & I am stuck with a lemon. I am going to call Bowen out again. Lastly, Bowen told me their cost for the same unit would have been 7500 dollars.I'm posting Veteran Air & Bowen Air invoices.See how they forged my name. Will be filing complaint with the BBB & State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations You can see pics on google reviews!

Veteran Air replaced my entire HVAC system in 2020. Since then I have paid them over $500.00 in service fees (2022 and 2023) to clean my condensation drip drain. Each visit I have been told by the technician that my new Lennox system has an """"aluminum"""" core which results in a much larger output of condensation than my previous Lennox system. They claim that this change of material (from copper to aluminum) was done to save on cost of manufacturing, but is considered a """"poor"""" substitute. Prior to replacing my system I had not had ANY drain problems since purchasing my home in 2017. The other problem that was identified on BOTH service visits was the fact that the emergency shut off switch failed (inexplicable reasons-shrug shoulders) but again, not Veteran Air """"problem, my problem! This last visit was the proverbial straw that broke the camels back! Not sure exactly when my drain failed during the period from June to Dec of 2022 but the shut off switch failed and the system continued to run, continued to produce gallons of condensation which filled the """"emergency overflow"""" pan and then began spewing rusty water onto the hood of my car, my garage floor, etc. It was an unpleasant """"welcome home"""" surprise in Jan of 2023. Subsequent to the Jan visit I asked the tech to have the service manager call me to discuss. After a week of waiting I called Veteran Air to get contact information for """"the boss"""". Several days later I received a call from Michael, service manager. Needless to say, Michael had been through this before and wanted to make sure I knew that Veteran Air was not responsible for anything and that I was just a """"clueless"""" idiot (not said directly but I'm sure when Michael hung up from that call he was """"smugly beaming"""" as he just took care of another """"customer complaint"""". NOT!! As a retired custom home builder of 40 years I was blown away by his smug, self serving attitude towards a customer (no longer). I have posted several pictures of the damage """"my neglect"""" caused over the last several months of being away. I truly feel like Veteran Air could give a crap about anything but the short term satisfaction of making a buck! Given my business background I am not one to criticize quickly, and I have waited to write this review for that reason. After that """"cooling off"""" period I can say that I will never use this company again and I will go out of my way to let friends and neighbors know to do the same!

Our AC went out. Called Veteran Air to get it checked out. Was told out blower motor went out and wouod be over 2k to fix. Didn't ask about a warranty, when we brought it up then they applied it. Was told we should sign up for their club program. We'd get priority service and a discount. Was told on Tuesday morning We'd have the motor in 1 to 2 days. Thursday after hearing nothing we called. Customer service says they have to have another department call us right back. Nothing. We call back Friday, again told we would get a call back... crickets once again. We go all weekend with ni AC and nothing from Veteran Air. Monday comes, new call, wife explained we are submitting a complaint, she is them told it would be Wednesday before the motor came.. complete and total bs. Just stringing people along.

In December my husband purchased a new AC system to replace our old, dependable unit of 20 years. Other than maintenance it never needed service or stopped cooling. We waited to replace it until the compressor gave out because we always heard the new units are just not as reliable as the old ones. And they were right! We had a new unit put in in December, it wasn't challenged to cool until April/May. It stopped cooling completely over Memorial weekend because it needed a new compressor after only 5 months; and we were without air for 5 days! The service tech, Jade, went back to the shop and got a portable unit that was a lifesaver! After 5 days the unit was up an running again. About 3 weeks later I had them come out again because it just wasn't cooling adequately. Now it's the weekend of the 4th of July and it is not cooling at all. it's set at 74 and it's 79/80 in our condo. Their coming out tomorrow. Our FPL bill has not been reduced by this new unit, even in the early spring. To be continued. The star is for the service technician

I had them fix what another company could not and was very satisfied but they then came back to replace a circuit board and again was really satisfied . But after they left that same day the blower motor stopped working and they came back about 5 hours later and said I need a new blower motor and at that point I pretty much decided to do so because of the heat. Why I am disappointed is the costs of the fan was almost 1000.00. I understand that they have to make a profit but I checked with 2 other companies and it seems a little high because they had been working on it that day and had just checked everything and said it was all good. Just my 2 cents worth. Thanks David Henderson

After reading some other comments about this company..it really seems all too familiar with our exact situation. Making me wonder how many people they had buy new ac units when all it needed was some small pcb board or parts

My original review was only 2 stars because I was not happy with the overall pricing and a lack of communication by the tech. However, once the company became aware of my dissatisfaction they contacted me and worked with me to make me comfortable with being able to recommend them to others for A/C service.

Called veteran air to diagnose problem with our ac. I was in Illinois and couldn't do it myself because I am hvac tech in the past. They tried to talk my wife into a new unit and then stated we needed a new blower motor for $828 and would take a week to get part. I decided that I could not leave my family with no ac for a week in Florida summer heat and I took an emergency flight next day back. I was able to obtain a blower motor next day air for $350 before I flew back, based on tech diagnosis. When I got back, the blower motor was fine as was our unit. The problem was the fan control board and the relay was bad. Cost me $28 overnight shipped. Installed it myself and the so called bad blower motor and bad unit has been running just fine. Too bad veteran air wouldn't reimburse me for the emergency air ticket back to Florida nor my shipping costs to ship new blower motor back, after I spoke with Kat. They did not make me pay their $79 diagnostic fee though. Guess I'm lucky that I saved $8000 on their quote for a new unit. Never again will I call them or recommend them.

Best experience I have ever had with an HVAC company! We had another company called Air and Energy come out and state we needed a new system (7 year old Trane). I got a 2nd opinion and Veteran Air did a full check and discovered zero leaks. The other company did our system was corroded but showed us no pictures. They said none of our equipment was under warranty so I called Trane and they said all functional parts would be covered until 2024 even though we were not original owners. Blake with Veteran Air called prior to coming out and arrived friendly, put on shoe covers, etc. He and the person with him explained everything, took pictures, were professional and courteous. I would absolutely call them for all HVAC needs.
