I am Travis Jenkins. After ten years in the plumbing industry, I started Vessel Plumbing in 2020. Our company is built on values that matter to us: integrity, transparency, quality work, and genuine care for our customers. We are dedicated to remain a small, owner-operated business to ensure each project gets consistent attention to detail with dedication to quality.
Big corporations have significant overhead. They charge premium rates while recommend extra services to get the most from each call. That’s not our approach. We take the time to explain to our customers the choices they have, so they know what needs to be done—just the essentials. In the case of bigger tasks, we work with honest, reliable contractors that align with our principles.
Our reputation is well-established. Being lifelong San Diegans, we take pride in providing reliable and affordable plumbing to our community. With us, you will always receive quality workmanship, honest guidance, and a plumber who genuinely cares.

We were in the middle of our oven replacement when we found a huge gas pipe. Installation couldn't proceed without fixing it and that's when we called vessel plumbing. Travis accepted to come in at that very minute even though it was late in the evening! He fixed our problem with ease was a life savior! Our new oven was installed with no problems later.

Our plumbing backed up stopping up 2 bathrooms. Travis was able to come out within a couple hours, got straight to it and cleared it up. Friendly, good tips/advice, and reasonable. Glad to have found him!

We found water leaking into our garage on a Saturday afternoon. I found Travis on yelp, called him and he was out repairing the leak that evening. He was professional and knowledgeable. We've already used him again for a different plumbing maintenance job.

My shower faucet was leaking badly and Travis was able to fix the leak and replace the ugly parts without tearing out the wall. He is very easy to work with. I will definitely call him again if I need to.

Travis came to fix my leaking sink and replace my garbage disposal. He was responsive, informative and very friendly. I will be contacting him again for when I need to replace my sink and faucet. Thank you for getting the job done correctly and quickly!

Super nice, very fast, very reliable and highly recommend vessel plumbing!!! Saved us after my uncle decided to wrestle our tub faucet too hard! He had to crawl into the tiniest hardest space and he fixed it fast!

Meticulous, timely, and friendly. Travis helped install our kitchen sink, faucet, and dishwasher. Would call him again if we need help.

My downstairs toilet, when not in use, suddenly started overflowing with water that was sudsy,
flooding the bathroom floor and into the hallway. Since I was washing clothes I turned off the machine and the water line to the toilet and used Yelp to locate Vessel Plumbing/Travis. Even though this happened on Saturday night, Travis responded promptly to my emergency plumbing issue. He quickly assessed the situation as a clog in the drain leading from the house to the sewer line and then diligently worked to clean the line. I'm very appreciative for his assistance and professionalism.

Travis is awesome! Recent minor repair needed at my mother's house and Travis took care of it in no time. He also checked the pressure and let us know we'd be needing a new regulator in the not-too-distant future. Having dealt with a regulator problem at my house, with a different plumber, I appreciate the head's up without the high pressure sales pitch. Pun intended.

Travis recently replaced our 30g tank water heater with a 40g tank in our newly-purchased 1958 home in Serra Mesa. The existing tank was about 10 years old and had started leaking into the containing drain pain pretty significantly. The tank was also leaning and had a number of other issues with the installation mentioned in our home inspection. It was also in a tricky location in the middle of the house but he was able to move things around and fit a 40g tank (our request, not an upsell). He addressed and resolved all the existing issues mentioned in the inspection and did an overall fantastic job of installing the new unit, supply lines, etc. He was professional, courteous and didn't hesitate to answer all the random questions I had.
I've actually replaced a water heater myself before in a different home where it was in the garage (easy access) and I've sweatted plenty of copper tubing over the years so I could certainly recognize the professional quality level of his work. As far as price, I thought it was very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again for any water or gas plumbing work.
