I had had the worst experience in my life , receiving service from this company. They promised that technician would come at !! AM, when I called them the day of an appointment. At 11AM someone called from this company and said that technician would come in 20 min. When I called company in 40 min, they didn't pick up a phone for a long time, but when a phone was picked up, someone started asking me the information, I was asked when an appointment was scheduled. Technicians showed up at 1:10 PM. Work was done adequate, but arrangement was really disrespectful and careless.

Had an after hours on a Sunday problem with a stopped toilet at my relatives house. Needed someone quickly. VanGo Rooter website said 24/7, 10 minute response. Called, got an answering service, who took the info and then starts calling to find a response plumber. After 20 minutes, still no call, so I called back and was told that they were pretty sure someone had been called. Then verified that someone was on their way and was supposed to have called me. (They hadn't). However, as I was advising our relative that the plumber might be there, he called!! Was out front and was asking me if ""I was home"". Sounded cranky.
HOWEVER, he made contact with the family and was FABULOUS! He was great in checking the toilet, which was working fine now of course, gave the options of what may have happened and how to address heading off problems in the future, and even sent me a video via text to show me the toilet was working correctly!! And, because they give ""free estimates"", he didn't charge my family as he did nothing more than that.
His kindness and professionalism was truly appreciated. His tips were so helpful.

I picked VanGo Rooter because of their high ratings on Yelp. They turned out to be extremely unreliable. No one ever showed up and my appointment kept being rescheduled. Kept giving me the runaround. It's been 3 days now and 4 reschedules and I still don't have hot water. Avoid VanGo Rooter!!!

Follow-up: Someone finally showed up. but said they don't have the parts. I gave them the manufacturer and model number 3 days ago online from initial booking. Now I have to wait further and contact the manufacturer myself to get the parts. Extremely disappointing. Will use a different plumber service to resolve this.

From contacting them and getting a quote, they reply so fast and straight to the point. No more sugar coating or anything else. Once I told them to come over and check whats going on, Ken B. (The one I was talking through yelp message) responded right away and instructed his plumber Conrad to come.

When Conrad came in, I told him about the problem that the kitchen dirt/stuff was going out in the bath tub sink & it was also clogged. He told me that we need to do some sort of Hydro Jetting to brush off the grease, oil, and all the stuff thats clogged in it. He didnt recommend using snake as it is a big stuff inside the pipe and it wont remove/solve the problem at all.

Got a quote and told our landlord about it, he didn't agree of course, so I called Ken B. and told him my situation, we negotiate the price and I got a pretty good deal for the work, and Conrad really put so much effort in it. He fix and check both the kitchen pipe & the bath tub's. Oh did I mention? They also gave a 90days/3 months warranty? WOW! JUST WOW! THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I'm a retired construction superintendent and needed a required sewer video scope as a condition to pull a permit for a proposed addition in San Carlos. Juan gave me an EXCELLENT price, the work was performed expeditiously and professionally by Toby and the office was very responsive and courteous.j Yep, they're pretty good.

Woke up Saturday morning jumped in shower and saw it was not draining what a bummer. Call Vango Rooter saw they had great reviews. Received a call back within 10 minutes diagnosing the problem plumber told me it was my main line and toilet needed to be pulled to do work price would be $700 I told him I thought it was just a simple shower drain clog it was too much money and I could not afford it after much debate decided to cancel call. Call Sherwood Plumbing their technician arrived on time was very professional and clear drain in 15 minutes the charge was $115 what a lifesaver

The guy showed up on time. He did manage to unclog the drain.

But his equipment dripped on our mat, which we had to clean as a result. He also was on the phone with his spouse while working in my kitchen, which was annoying.

I asked how much they charge for a sewer lateral video and he said $350. I was shocked, as I've seen coupons for free with any service. Discount Plumbing does it for $50 with no other work necessary.

Then I got a coupon in the mail for $77 for drain cleaning. VanGo charged me $190--and that's their ""Yelp discount"".

My garbage disposal exploded and backed up on us and we contacted Dylan from VanGo Rooter. Dylan was super professional, friendly, and explained the problem(s) as well as the solution(s) before, during, and after the appointment! He was also friendly to my cats!

I'm also doubly grateful to him for cleaning up the mess that was made from the backed up disposal as well...! Would highly recommend him especially.

Rich at VanGo is amazing! When my garbage disposal stopped working, I was really dreading the whole experience of calling a plumber to get it fixed. Juan called me back within minutes and was able to send Rich out first thing in the morning for a free estimate. The price was very competitive, and Rich even got me a discount on the garbage disposal. He was very friendly and fast, and I felt like he was trying his best to save me money. They also have a 1 year warranty on the fix. Would not hesitate to use Rich and VanGo Rooter again!
