I own a rental condo located in Dublin and the Homeowners Association had called Valley Plumbing to come out on 12/15 to resolve a recurring issue with 2 condos on the same floor as mine. My tenant reported that she heard Valley Plumbing snaking or cabling the plumbing line and within minutes the kitchen sink in my condo filled up with dirty water. The clog issue continued later that evening where it overflowed onto the laminate flooring and caused damage to the floor and cabinets. When I contacted Valley Plumbing to research what damage they had caused they were very defensive, saying that their work did not push the clog into my unit from shared plumbing lines. The service manager was extremely rude/unprofessional and refused to let me speak with his supervisor. Reportedly, the technician that did the work was suddenly sick and out of the office for a week. The service manager said that he could come out to verify what caused the clog but I would have to pay him! I caution you -- Do not trust a company that doesn't back their work and treats individuals with disrespect. If I had a choice in choosing a plumber it would not be Valley Plumbing.

Called Valley Plumbing to replace some old faucets that feed our washer (Sears wouldn't install our new washer because of old faucets - no stars for them).
Had to wait a week for an appointment but it's a busy time.
Namen arrived nice and early and got straight to work. When we told him we just bought the house, he showed us how to turn off the water and gas and was generally very helpful and nice. He tested out the washer, which worked fine.
Very happy.

Not certain about this one. VPHC several months back installed what is known as a 30 gallon skinny water heater in an apartment complex owned by me. The total cost was over $2400. Many years before that I personally installed a water heater in my home for about $150.00....yes, I know it was a long time ago and I did not charge myself labor. But $2400?. There has to be other plumbers who do excellent work that don't charge these exorbitant rates.

I have used Valley Plumbing on several occasions and wanted to trust them based on their good reviews on Yelp and Angie's List, but have now had multiple instances where their plumbers are either incorrect about solutions to my plumbing needs or lying to make more money and felt the need to speak up.
First, I had a Moen bathtub fixture break. A Valley Plumbing plumber came and said that if their parts guy couldn't find the part, the solution would be a 6+ hour project where they would have to open up my bathtub because our bathtub had old Moen valves from the 1990s and Moen doesn't make fixtures for them anymore. I had a phone call with their parts guy and he said he couldn't get me the part. I was going to use Valley Plumbing for this project that was going to cost hundreds of dollars but then a different plumber from Valley Plumbing came for a different plumbing need, looked at our tub, and said to take a picture and call Moen for the part. We did that and Moen had the fixture and was able to ship it to us in a few days and we were able to screw it on ourselves, making it a $50 solution to buy a part from Moen as opposed to the hundreds of dollars it would have cost to open up our tub and change the valves and fixtures per Valley Plumbing's original recommendation.
I would have let that instance go but then just had another incident that prompted this review. We had a leaking toilet and had Valley Plumbing come out. The plumber said he couldn't see the brand of the toilet anywhere and therefore couldn't replace any parts and the toilet was on its last leg so we should go buy and install a new toilet. We were planning on marching down that path per his recommendation but then had a plumber from a different company look at it and in two minutes identified it as a Mayfair toilet and replace the float and fix our toilet within a few minutes.
I don't know if these issues are caused by plumbers with lack of experience or they're trying to upsell more expensive services to make more money, but after multiple issues with different plumbers and wasting money having them come out and not solve my problems and after giving them multiple chances, I don't trust them anymore.

I have been a long term client of Valley Plumbing and believe in working with local businesses. It is disappointing that after a week of 1/2 visits every other day that my plumbing issue is larger than when it started. This company obviously has more business then it is equipped to handle and thus clients suffer. I was made to feel as if I was ""lucky"" that they were helping me at all. Told I would be prioritized only to have the repair cut short for a third time. The two stars are for the plumber, David who tried to solve the problem. Given the ""unusualness of my issue"" you'd think by the third visit they would have sent a more senior or experienced person to work with David. But $1,100 later, I have a huge hole in my backyard and can still not do laundry or dishes. This is not the company it used to be. Very disappointed x-customer.

As a long-time client, I continue to be impressed. Valley Plumbing did amazing things for me this week regarding a difficult water heater design and install. They respond on a dime, they do what they say. I will continue my dedication and loyalty to Valley, as they have reciprocated for decades.... I have Valley to call and to trust - that says volumes in this world today. Sending gratitude!

Valley Plumbing has taken care of my plumbing needs for many years. They do a great job and the receptionist are helpful and caring. I highly recommend them.

When you find a good plumbing team, stick with them. Very responsive and helpful. Our toilet downstairs was having issues for a while. They came and did a kit repair. When it didn't stick for more than a couple of weeks, they sent someone to take a deeper look for repair and didn't charge for the labor. When that repair didn't last for more than a couple weeks (the toilet is just old), I called for a new toilet and the next day it was brought over, installed, and up and working. Their plumbers are really kind and professional. Thanks, team.

Hello Valley Plumbing team,
Just wanted to thank you for repairing our main gate-valve at our home.
Excellent service! Great work by Steve! I would highly recommend Valley Plumbing to all my friends and family (located within your service area). Best of all is Valley Plumbing's very reasonable pricing!

Valley Plumbing has been our go-to Plumbers for the past 8-9 years when we started experiencing plumbing problems with our remodel. They came in a fixed what wasn't done well. EVERY time, the service techs were professional, friendly, and ALWAYS delivered more... giving up tips/hints/help on other items that they saw as potential issues. Late last week, we had our Water Heater go bust and called them. Of course we had a unit that was smaller than the 'norm' (only 50gal), so they had to order it, but they had a great tech at our doorstep this morning at 7 am to install it. He was brand new, but SO SO friendly (Steve) and was just like the other techs we've seen. Professional, friendly, and again, gave me some other tips/hints we could use to help improve things. They are a must-use business for anyone looking for a plumber.
