By far the best place to go to when you need any plumbing done. An example for my husband and I was a time when our hot water heater gave out. It was old and did need to be replaced. We had contacted another local plumbing service who quoted us a ridiculous price. We told them we would shop around and get back to them if we decided to go that route.
Once we called Valley Plumbing, we explained what we needed and to our surprise, a plumber came to our home, installed the new water heater, on a Sunday by the way, and of course hauled off the old one at no charge. Their quote was significantly less than the others and the person who came to our house was very professional and thorough. I would recommend Valley Plumbing to anyone!

Big job, little job, Valley Plumbing is there to help you. I have had them to my home, on at least 3 occasions, and every time they did a great job, and arrived on time. They also saved our homeowners association at least $2000.00 by drilling under the concrete on the pool deck. in an emergency to run new electrical conduit, whereas another contractors was going to dig the pool deck up and then relay new concrete.

It's never a good time to have your toilets stop working, but it's especially stressful on a Sunday evening at 7 pm when you have family visiting from out of town. I called 3 plumbing services: the first got back to me right away but their On-call tech was already booked; the second I left a message (who didn't call me back until the next day); and Mike at Valley Plumming who actually ANSWERED my call! Yea!
Mike explained up front the hourly rate & that we would be paying double time due to the late hour on the weekend. The technician worked quickly & efficiently to resolve the problem. He was neat & left everything clean.
We were very pleased that everything went well & he was done in less than 2 hours. I would recommend Valley Plumbing for emergency services.

Last week on a Friday, my wife called Valley Plumbing for a leak we had in our garage. They explained that due to the time in the late PM, they would have to charge us an Over Time rate. We decided to schedule them for Monday AM at straight time.
On Friday after work, I stopped the leak. We were all good, but forgot to call Valley Plumbing off for Monday. On schedule they showed up Monday AM. My wife explained the situation, and they left, and did not charge us any mobilization fee. I appreciate that. They could have charged us something for our error.

Another bad plumbing company in Pleasanton. The service manager is rude and has a big attitude problem. The call with him was a joke and was another waste of my time. These guys have a policy to turn the water on (after the main was shut off) themselves and verify everything. If they don't do it themselves, there is NO warranty for their work. Sounds good, but that forces the owner to stay with them the entire time of repair. Not only the service was very EXPENSIVE, I was NOT HAPPY that I had to stay on the property with the tech for the entire time of service.
What added to the expensive bill was the fact that they didn't bring an 1 1/2 inch PVC pipe which they had to go back to the warehouse to get. Give me a break. 1 to 2 inch PVC pipe should be on all plumber's truck. If this is the way to squeeze more money out of your customers, you're doing a damn good job at it.

My realtor recommended Valley Plumbing, but before calling I checked out their reviews on Yelp. I was very impressed that each of the dissatisfied customer comments received a follow-up by Mike to rectify the problem. That more than anything convinced me to schedule a visit. Mark responded to the call and made three separate repairs on a leak under the sink, a faulty drain lever and numerous leaks in the shower head and hand held assembly. . .and he did it all inside of an hour. I was very impressed with his pride in workmanship and representation of his company, along with providing excellent customer service. I'm a tough customer and Valley Plumbing earned their 5 star rating. I will call them again.

It's amazing what a small amount of personal outreach and proactive customer support can do to sooth the frazzled nerves of the clientele. (ahem...take note Cisco!)
Most business can't comprehend that just acknowledging minor mistakes and operating procedures only helps the company in the long run to avoid future mishaps and similar situations. To know that they take small matters like a slighly snarky Yelp review seriously enough to make that outreach shows you that no job and no customer is too small to take for granted.
It's good to know that I'm not a completely inept weekend plumber and that I should have tried to fix the damn thing myself but for all future water related issues, Valley gets the call.
Thanks Mike!

Beware when doing business with this company. We called them to come out and replace a toilet in our second bathroom. The plumber they sent was friendly but didn't seem to know what he was doing. Took him 3hrs to replace 1 toilet. Gave us a bill for over $400. Make sure to get several estimates before calling this company

What does it mean when you know your plumber by name? It means that we have had 6 or more plumbing repairs/replacements over the past few years, and that each time we never hesitate to call Valley Plumbing. Darin and other members of the team are the best! They are always up front and knowledgeable, and go above and beyond what is needed to fix the problem, at very reasonable costs. The logo on their vans - integrity before profit - really comes through each and every time!
They have helped us fix several leaks, repaired and replaced our water heater, and installed a new dishwasher with ease after the appliance guys who delivered it gave up. Each time, they responded quickly and always surpassed our expectations. Our house is at the point where repairs/replacements are going to be more frequent. But we can sleep easy as we know we have Valley Plumbing to call on. And we are supporting local which is a great plus!

I have been purchasing supplies at Valley Plumbing for many years; I would guess at least ten if not fifteen. I am always concerned as to whether a business might blame any problems on the installer, which, in my case, is me since I do my own work. I have purchased kitchen faucets, outdoor hose bibs, hoses, indoor supply faucets, toilet valves, and a few things I can't remember. I have needed to return two kitchen faucet components, and a valve that did not have the correct threads. They have replaced them with no questions. If they remember my purchase, they don't even ask for a receipt. I have even called them during an installation to ask questions, and Stark has been more than helpful. I will be having a valve installed soon, and I expect that to go very well.
