Kirk from Valley Plumbing and Heating was awesome to work with. I had two ADA toilets installed. He was prompt, prepared and detailed in completing the job. Lena from the office was professional and kept me informed regarding my service appointment. I will definitely use their services in the future.

I walked in just needing a small part for a leaky faucet, but honestly I know nothing about DIY anything. The woman at the counter was helpful and nice and didn't treat me like the dummie I felt I was. In and out in a few minutes, and the part was exactly what I needed. I would never in 1 million years have gotten that level of expertise and help from Home Depot or even ace hardware. Ergo I was very grateful that it was not painful.

I spent more than $1330 with them just to identify my water leak is on main line ! They want additional $5100 to replace about 45 feet of main water line. I thought these guys can identify the main line leak and do spot repair. But finally they also want to do the replacement as previous plumbers suggested, who want to replace mainline.I fired them after hearing their $5100 quote just for replacing 45 feet main water line.

Hired another plumber from Thumbtack to replace the mainline for $3200. These guys are too expensive for the amount of work they do. Better hire a well reviewed plumber from Thumbtack app, where you can get the things done with less than 50% of what these guys want to charge.

I thought valley plumbing guy is kidding me when they dig less than 2 feet in 4 hours and asking my permission to continue to dig all the 45 feet and bill the hours ! At that rate it will be 45 * $400/feet = $18000 to dig 45 feet along water line. Incredible ! The person came for work took more than an hour rest in his van but billed that time too. I was already fed up with their fleecing, and do not have patience to argue over $200, I wrote the check and got rid of them.

They claim ""Integrity Before Profit"" actually it's totally opposite. ""Profit Before Integrity"". If there was an option to give -ve star I would give them -5. It has all been very painful and expansive experience dealing with them and there are lot of better plumbers and plumbing companies in our area. Try to avoid Valley plumbing they don't have a soul and just want to take advantage of people.

End of Dec. 2022 our shower water won't stop so we had to call a plumber in an emergency and whoever we called he came within 20 mins. (God bless him) and he stopped the water but said since we have Grohe and they are tricky to open and he doesn't want to break anything he suggested calling somebody who has experience with Grohe so I called Valley plumbing and sent them pictures and explained everything and asked if they have someone experienced in Grohe and they said absolutely and I scheduled the appointment. They charge $200/hour. Their technician showed up and established that we need to order new cartridge and he would have to come back once it arrives. Even after establishing that there will be another visit it seemed like he wanted to finish his hour because he voice recorded so many things and took tons of pictures and then typed up so many things while his hourly clock is running. Then he went around the house putting their advertisement sticker on all of our appliances saying he get $5/ appliances and he finished his hour and charged me $200. After he left I called the company and mentioned all these and asked to not charge me full hour when he comes back with the part because whatever he did was so unnecessary. Now once the part came he came again and this guy is so interested in finishing the hour that he comes and rings the door bell then and starts his clock then goes back to his van to get his stuff. Within first 15 minutes he changed the cartridge and shoed us water flowing but he decided not to end it there. He opened the whole thing again went back to his car saying he wants to set the temperature right. He put everything back and then called me and ask if white plastic ring was outside before? My 12 year old can tell you that it was such a big ring that it should not be outside. So he opened everything up again and put the ring inside and then put everything back. His clock was showing 50 minutes by now and he wanted to charge me another $200 for the hour and $97 for the part (which is $35 on Amazon) I asked to call the office and speak with the manager /owner and he said it is what it is. We won't charge you for full hour this time but will have to charge you for 45 minutes and ended up charging me another $150 for the labor. It was Xmas time and I was so frustrated but decided to just think of it as my good deed before the end of the year and forget about it. Now less than 4 month later that shower head is leaking when it's turned off and I called them to ask about warranty they are saying part has 1 year warranty but labor warranty is only 30 days and they will charge me $50 every 15 minutes (after 2 experiences and $453 I know it's going to be another $200) so I decided to write this long review to warn other people.

We've had excellent experiences with Valley Plumbing for several jobs including whole house filtration and water treatment, zero waste reverse osmosis in our kitchen, miscellaneous kitchen and bath repairs, and urgent assistance with clogged drains. Kirk (one of the senior plumbers) is exceptional and truly detail oriented. The sales room staff are super helpful. They're a trustworthy, local, family owned company that stands beside their work. We'll keep using them for all of our plumbing needs, and you should consider doing the same. Highly recommended!

I have used Valley Plumbing over the years. This time I feel they really saved my life and my wallet when the excellent technician, Jonathan, cleaned out my French drains. He was thorough and pointed out how the drainage worked in a way I could understand. Very professional business. With a motto like ""Integrity before profit"", how could you go wrong!!

We had a PRV installed in mid August. Mike and his crew were very friendly and shared a few useful tips/knowledge about the plumbing. Five days later, the elbow joint under the PRV leaked water. Kind of unfortunate coincidence, so I asked them if changing the PRV had to do with the leak. They said no. I thought maybe the pipe moved around too much when the trainee tried to fit in the new PRV which is different brand from the original one. Beside, it has been 10 years without no problem, but I'm not a plumber so I thought ok that's fine.
So $700 later, the leak fixed. I spent almost $1200 total for the work. To their credit, the supervisor explained things related to my water heater well and honestly. But I did have a few concerns about what the trainee did, so I emailed them about it. The reason for three star is they never replied to my email to at least acknowledge my concerns.
Also, the minimum $200 rate is a bit high for me, but acceptable. However, I wish I didn't have to pay half-hour ($100) for them to pick up a part that they didn't have in stock.
Hi Mike, if you see this review, please feel free to contact me if you like to clarify things. Thank you!

We had problems with our garbage disposal, and a family member recommended we contact Valley Plumbing. We used Yelp to reach out on the project. They responded very quickly and had me call them directly.

Upon calling and describing the issue, they gave a couple likely scenarios from repair to replacement. They were clear on all costs and timelines. Was able to schedule an appointment for the next day mid-morning.

Upon arrival, Joe came in and looked at the garbage disposal and said it needed replacement. It was 20 years old and all rusted inside. He got a new one from his truck, which was the same model as our original, but a new version of it, and quickly removed the old one and installed the new one.

No leaks whatsoever and we now have a new garbage disposal.

Great service from initial contact to completion of project!

I have used Valley Plumbing about 5 times, but just getting around to a review. I have found them very honest in their estimates, are consistent with high quality work, and the one time they didn't get it right, they made it right without discussion (the sign of a great business philosophy).

My most recent example. I had a cold water pipe burst under my floor board. Valley Plumbing couldn't get me on their schedule for almost 2 week (the sign of a quality business.... I don't know why another reviewer dinged them for that), so I had to use Roto Rooter after calling all the local businesses. Roto Rooter wanted $5,000 to fix the problem, after I paid them $565 to ""diagnose the problem"". Luckily, I knew to run Roto Rooter off my property (they thought I was a whale who never got my hands dirty in my life). So we took showers at neighbors for a while waiting for Valley Plumbing. 57 minutes after Valley Plumbing arrived, my water was back on. For $440, I had the problem fixed, parts, and had them do a few other things that took a total of 2 hours. All the staff are nice, clean up their mess, and one time they didn't even charged me for the visit (determined it was a problem with my gas meter and not my hot water tank). Valley Plumbing is the way to go!
