Recently used them to replace mechanism in toilet tank. Prices are too high. Over $300 for a 15 minute job. Was told that was a discounted rate. Under new ownership (investors) Would Not Recommend Them!!

What a refreshing group of people to work with! I didn't have any hot water and their office worked very hard to work around my crazy schedule to get someone out to take a look. As it turned out my water heater was older than i thought and it takes GE a week to ship the replacement part! Valley Plumbing gave me such a great deal on a new water heater I also opted for the whole home filtration system and instant hot water option. I was enjoying hot water like never before quicker than GE could get their act together. THANKS VALLEY PLUMBING!!!

Beware, Valley Plumbing is a company of scammers and will overcharge you at every turn. Be prepared for a grossly inflated estimate, I'm talking $300/400 per hour, and if you refuse the estimate they will come after you for their visit. Disgusting business. By the looks of the other reviews, I was not the first victim and probably wont be the last.

Better ask specifically about hourly rates or you will be very unpleasantly surprised. $400 per hour for labor! Find someone else, I will in the future.
NOTE, they came back and adjusted the bill. Good move, all good. This was a pricing issue only, work was competent.

Do not use this company for leak detection. We paid them over $350 to do a smoke test, which would be fine if they did it properly. Their tests didn't show any leaks but we continued having the same problem, so we hired American Leak Detection. Their Yelp reviews were mixed at best but we were desperate. American Leak came out and we paid another $400 for a smoke test but guess what, they found the leak!! It turns out Valley hadn't properly conducted their smoke test-they didn't tape/close off all of our roof gas vent pipes and they didn't use enough smoke bombs, and this is why they didn't find a leak with the smoke test.

I still believe their are way more good people in this country then bad. But I had the misfortune of running into these people at Valley Plumbing. The problem was so bad that I had to take them to small claims court, I was there to tell the truth! But these manipulative weasels had the judge convinced that I was a liar. They walked out of that courtroom with smiles on their faces and with nearly $4,000.00 that does not belong to them.

Don't be fooled by their ad claiming to serve this valley for 60+ years. They bought Valley Plumbing a few years ago from a very reputable family.

I was told by the lady who scheduled the appointment on the phone that the charge for using a snake on the cleanout would be $125.00, unless it became necessary to use a special machine to unblock the stoppage, in which case there would be an additional $50.00 charge. When the technician came he already had the machine with him, so he really didn't try to to unblock the stoppage with a regular snake. So, I was charged $175.00 for 15 minutes of work. The technician was arrogant and made snarky remarks the entire time he was here, so NO, I do NOT recommend this company to anybody. I regret using them and will make sure to warn my friends and family about these scammers.

I have used Valley happily several times in the past and called them to fix a kitchen leak which turned out to be a faulty faucet. The plumber who found the problem was great, but when I received a telephone quote it was over $200 higher than they had replaced the same faucet two years earlier. I called Valley to request some consideration for a more reasonable quote, but was advised there was new ownership, new management and that there was ""nothing that could be done."" I suggested this would likely lose a good, past customer but no one I spoke with was interested. I then called Alvarez based on Yelp recommendations, and was promptly and professionally taken care of and saved the $200. See Alvarez for my 5 star rating.

Be aware that you will be charged $125 for a service call. This used to be a great company when located in Indio but now they've gone big time and so have their prices.

$175 for about 5 minutes of work! My shower was left a mess as well. No invoice was given, was told the office would mail one. It's been a week....no invoice. Will not recommend or use this company.
