Had a plumber come to my home 3 weeks ago to fix a leak under my sink. My 80 year old mother was there . He was there for a total of 5 minutes, tightened something and said $300. My mother said what! He answered her plumbing isn't cheap. He lowered the bill to $200, mind you the dispatch fee is $65. Today 5/24/2024 I have the leak again and my handyman Said the pipes are rotted. If the technician would have spent the time he would have noticed. Now I have to pay twice .

Needed a couple of faucets installed and lines updated. They did an excellent job, start to finish. Great value for the work that was requested, will use them again for future plumbing needs.

We needed help with plumbing( sewerage main line was blocked). It was a time critical need because of party at home the next day. Justin was prompt and courteous and so we are happy with the service . Cost was a bit on higher side though.

Chris did a great job on installing new electric water heater and removing old one. Would definitely use again. I like when you can actually talk to the person directly vs going through some call center who relays messages. Great having someone who knows norristowns code. Thanks Chris!

I had a problem with clogged toilet so I called Vadel based on a Yelp review. While he was here I asked him to look at a bathroom sink spigot that was malfunctioning and a hair clogged shower. He was here for about an hour (maybe a little more). The result: The (2 yr old) toilet should be replaced and nothing was changed. Most of his time was spent preparing a $703 bill for not fixing anything and a $2500 proposal for returning with a claim to fix the problems.

I regret that I relied on a Yelp recomendation.

Needing a new Sewer Line we researched more than a few contractors to complete this work. A guy a few miles from us charged us $400 to run a camera and said he would take it off the bill then decided we didn't need a new line. I'll post more about that dude on his page but let's get to Valdel Plumbing.

From the beginning they were professional and courteous. Valdel sent a polite and knowledgable technician to our home. He listened, wore shoe coverings, and explained the process of discovery. He diagnosed the issue, explained the process of installing a new Sewer Line, and then handed us a quote which we discussed. The office then contacted us a few days later after we notified them we needed a few days to make a decision. We then started the process by paying for part of the project.

After having to reschedule a few times due to the weather the crew arrived. The 4 Technicians were friendly, approachable, confident, and knowledgeable; we knew we were in good hands. Within a day the project was complete to our and more importantly, their satisfaction. I did have a concern about the amount of dirt that was not able to be leveled back into the two holes they dug and I notified the office. I received a call from one of the Owners who listened to me and then asked for pictures of the project area. He was understanding and fair knowing the scope of the issue and we agreed to touch base in a few months to reassess the areas of our yard.

The last call we received was a Satisfaction Survey call where they asked us what we thought, what they could have been done better, and offered us a yearly Maintenance Program. We've been in our home over 23 hrs and have dealt with many service industry professionals, and I can unequivocally testify that you should not hesitate to contact Valdel Plumbing for anything related to Plumbing!

Stephen B was really professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He helped us with a clogged drain line which is really important to have clear, especially with a new baby! Valdel always sends a tech within the time frame, and they do a great job. techs are always respectful of keeping the area clean and making sure the issue is fully taken care of.
