US Trenchless
Company Overview
Your go-to professionals for drain and sewer plumbing in Sacramento!
At US Trenchless, we are a plumbing and engineering contractor created by Jonas Clark, a previous founder of The Trenchless Company in Sacramento, to address the issues consumers face in obtaining quality pipe repairs and replacements at reasonable rates.
Jonas began his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 22 in 1998, called The Trenchless Company (www.dontdig.com). With support from his brother and business partner Max Greenberg, they built the company into a thriving regional business.
Following the sale of the business, Jonas moved into heavy civil construction, where he specialized in pipeline work. As the economy declined, construction opportunities dwindled, leading Jonas to return to his passion for trenchless pipe rehabilitation.

Recommended Customer Reviews

I have hired US Trenchless several times for sewer inspections and I have always been pleased with the customer service and advice they offer my clients when purchasing a home. Jonas and his team have always shown up on time and call right away if any major issues are seen. I would recommend US Trenchless to anyone looking for a reliable company for repairs or inspections.

US Trenchless, owned by Jonas, is my go to company for sewer line inspections. As a real estate broker I recommend sewer line inspections to my buyers to eliminate surprises after escrow closes. US Trenchless is prompt and quick to forward a report. Their reports are informative and honest!

You asked me for a review so here it is...... I'm a Realtor and my clients asked to get a sewer inspection. One of the agents in my office had this company on a list as a few they call. They are basically all the same. They put a line down the sewer and take a video. I think the only difference is how well the tech is able to diagnose what the issue is.
So, the guy put the camera down. He stopped when he saw a little bit of pooling of water. It was about 5 ft from the road, pretty far from the house. He automatically said it was roots. We ended up getting a bid from there for the supposed ""roots"" for $3882.52 We asked for that to be completed by the sellers.
Soooooo the sellers got their own inspection completed and we came to find out that there were NO roots. It was a slight decline of the pipe that was causing the pooling and it was in fact on the county's side. Soooooo the part was dug up, I saw it with my own two eyes, and sure enough not one root. The county fixed the issue and the only thing the sellers had to pay for, was for someone to dig the hole and put the dirt back.
That was my experience with this company.

I used US Trenchless to do a video inspection of the sewer line on a house I was potentially going to buy. I really liked their online scheduling, but it was pretty hard to use on a smartphone. I was able to get it scheduled for the next day and when I arrived at the house to meet the inspector he was already wrapping up! I was impressed that they were not only on time, but early. The technician was super nice and he talked with me for a little bit about the condition of the pipe and how much it would be to replace and I was very satisfied with the interaction.
I expected to get the report back the same day or next, but The inspection was on a Wednesday and I didn't get the report until the following Monday. By this time I had already backed out of the deal on the house for other reasons, but I was still surprised to not get anything back from us Trenchless. I paid the invoice when I got it ($149) and then I watched the video, which they just upload to YouTube and email you the link. The video quality was very poor (see screenshot), I'm not a video inspection expert, but I thought it would be maybe a little clearer for $149?
The speed of the report is the real issue for me. I think the technician was excellent and he seemed to be on top of things. I'm guessing this is an issue with the people who work in the office ?...

Boo! Jonas Clark did an inspection for a home purchase. When I got the video it was obvious it was the wrong house. I naively paid the invoice thinking that it would help me get he correct video faster. I followed up with and email and phone calls. I heard nothing back. The time allowed for the inspection elapsed and I had no idea if any of the assessment was correct. I know there is a pandemic going on and people make mistakes, but at least tell me something! I also asked for a refund when the inspection period had ended, and I haven't heard back on that either.

The work was ok. I gave the technician Abraham a check. I get an email stating they cannot find my check asking me to pay again. That is not ok. How do you lose a check?

Jonas and his team were great. They found the problem, got us a bid, and fixed it right away. No complaints. Trustworthy guys.

We used US Trenchless for a sewer lateral inspection for a home that we wanted to purchase. Sure enough the report showed that the sewer line was broken in various places. Jonas was the one who came to do the inspection. He was very polite and professional, showing me and explaining what we were looking at on the camera. He wrote the report along with a price to repair. I called another company to compare prices but from the get go, their communication was not as good and it took me weeks to finally get the estimate once they came out to do the inspection. They even came in at about $500 less than the quote US Trenchless was going to charge but I just didn't feel comfortable using them due to the lack of communication and returned calls and texts.
I had Jonas come do the job and he completed it in a couple of days, which was less time than what he said it may take. They cleaned up and left everything in better shape than when they started. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for this type of repair.

Jonas came out for a sewer inspection back in Feb 2019, they claimed we needed $5882 worth of repairs. They sent along a video showing the issues, with no way to confirm that was in fact a video of our property. Fast forward to October, we thought this needed to get fixed. After doing some investigation of our own, we saw it was all new piping. We asked them to come back out and show us the camera feed live, with us there looking. The technician from their company who came back out on November 7th agreed that there were no repairs needed. We called them to re-send the inspection report with a clean report to reflect the correct situation. They didn't seem surprised by this, nor did they apologize or sound concerned the original video was inaccurate. They claimed it must have been a mistake. We think they were just trying to get over on us for $6k worth of ""work"" that wasn't needed.

PERFECT!!! I was told to call u.s. trenchless after getting a $6000 bid from a national plumbing chain. They came over right when they said they would and they worked all day long from 630am until about 5:00 p.m.. They were very friendly and very helpful and cleaned up the work area so it looked just how it did before the work began. And they did it for only $2800. More than 50% off the national plumbing chain. They could have tried to cheat me too but these guys are honest and have integrity. They are great and I highly recommend them!!
