I should have heeded the one stars. I waited all day when I was scheduled during the day. I should have requested a reassignment but was patient. I should have known that anyone showing up to diagnose and is pressed to return to a another job for which they kept me waiting all day will not take the time to really investigate and give proper diagnosis. Left premises with water on full blast and Shower head was spraying back toward the wall. Tech claimed they detected moisture in the wall yet advised my warranty company that he did not see a leak (ie his dim phone lighting). Horrible service. Do not use!

Answer your FREAKING phone! This company was assigned to us by Old Republic early Thursday morning and it is now 1 o'clock Sautrday afternoon with no contact. Complaint filed, review posted. Thumbs down all the way!

Amanda at the office location is great. She quickly prioritized my call. Within hours of reporting a water leak in my living room ceiling, a plumber came to my home. Josh, the actual plumber, was amazing. He was very thorough, had good customer service, communicated well the problem and resolution, ultimately fixing the leak. I cannot thank him and the company enough for a job well done!

We didn't have hot water throughout the whole house. Our home warranty company (First American) told us to call Up to Code Plumbing in Torrance. Josh came out to take a look at our water heater and determined that we needed a new pilot assembly. In a few minutes, he installed the new one and the water heater fired up again! Really great service and we are so thankful to have hot water back in the house! Thanks Josh and Up to Code Plumbing!

I was having issues with my kitchen faucet and used Up To Code Plumbing to come take a look. They were very professional and were able to send someone right away. I was very impressed with the technician, Josh, who quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the needed parts, and rescheduled a new appointment to come in and fix it with no hassle. Up To Code Plumbing has serviced my home a couple of times on separate incidents through American Home Shield. Eric is top notch. He is prompt, answers all my many questions and walks me through the issue. He has snaked my bathtub, fixed a leak under my house and stopped my shower from dripping.

I had a complicated problem. The first plumber misdiagnosed the problem I am sorry to say. They did not realize the bath tub was backing up because of a faulty stopper assembly, which was stuck closed. That is what was causing water to drain slowly. I could not believe the previous drain company could not figure this out. Josh from Up to Code figured this out very quickly. It made sense. The first company American Home Shield sent out knew the stopper was faulty, but they did not know it was the reason the water was backed up. Sigh.
If you have been less than satisfied with Up to Code (like I was), in the past, you should give them a second look. They really have experience and know what they are doing. Once Josh figured out what was wrong, he removed the entire metal stopper. It was old. He replaced the face on the exterior of the tub and the assembly that goes inside. Then he snaked the tub. Problem gone. I have been dealing with the tub problem for more than a month, trying to get the first company to come back and trying to make American Home Shield understand. Good grief.

I had the pleasure of using Up to Code Plumbing for a new faucet. Eric worked real hard to ensure that the job was done right.
