Don't believe the commercials!!! The only company I have called that charges $85 to come out for an estimate!!! Mike, the person who came out had alcohol on his breath and looked like he hadn't showered in days. Claudia (office manager?) is unprofessional and argumentative/defensive. My sink was clogged and Mike said I would have replace pipes going to the sewer. $14,000!!! Charged me $250 to put a camera down my drain, but didn't do anything. Didn't provide any pictures. Said they could temporarily get my sink to drain. Spoke with Claudia finally after2-1/2 weeks of leaving messages and asking if """"I was sure I called her""""!!! When I asked when they could send someone out I was told I was lying that Mike would never say he could get my sink to drain temporarily. Long story short. Claudia and Mike called me back a week later when """"he was available""""!!! He said he could drain my sink, but every time I used the sink it would take several days to drain. All of nothing and it would cost me $986!!! I hung up and called Roto Rooter. (Excellent service and extremely professional, knowledgeable and polite). Roto Rooter came the next day. (Would have come the same day but I called late afternoon). Within 4 hours, Roto Rooter had cleared out the drain in the kitchen sink and identified a storage for the drain for the washing machine and said the two drains were connected. All that needed to be done was to connect the kitchen pipe to a drain in the crawl space that was disconnected from the original pipe but not connected to the new pipe. I asked about needing to replacing the pipes that goes to the sewer and he said there wasn't anything wrong and didn't need to be replaced. Cost for snaking 2drains/4-1/2 hours work $629 including a quart bottle of industrial strength drain cleaner to use monthly and will last 8 months. If I thought I would be able to speak with the owner, Larry Jones, I would call him because I am sure he isn't aware that his employees are ripping off customers and his office manager is in on it. So much for """"family values""""!!! Oh, yeah, Mike's reply to my comment about not having an extra $14,000 laying around and how many people do? He said lots of people do in a mocking tone. I hope this will help someone not to experience the aggravation, frustration and disrespect I had.

The plumber who arrived to repair the toilet was not very friendly. He had a bad attitude and it seemed like he wasn't too concerned about addressing my issues. Also the fee for the work done was very expensive. I'm not impressed with the company at all.

James W came during the appointed time. He fixed a leak in our Water main quickly the first time. He was professional and easy to deal with. His fees were very fair. I can highly recommend him.

Byron and Ejay came out and did a fantastic job helping us with our water pressure. They were quick and very very kind. I appreciated how they kept me updated on the work and explained what was what to me. They were respectful of my home and really made sure I was comfortable with the work they were doing. They've earned universal plumbing a customer for life!

When I made the appointment I told the exactly what I needed. When the tech came he didn't have the part and had to leave. After he came back and finished the repair he said he would have to come back again to fix the hole around the faucet. When I went out a couple of days later to check I had cement all down my brick from the bottom of the faucet to the ground. . I would not recommend this company.

They require $85 for the plumber to come to your home. This goes towards the cost if you accept the quote and similarly is lost if you don't. Either way don't waste your time explaining the job to them because you'll feel silly wasting your time doing so when they explain someone still needs to come out there.

I highly recommend Universal Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing service! The appt. was made in a timely matter with a time frame. Bryon and helper were right on time. They went above and beyond with the installation of my new hot water heater! They were professional and polite. They didn't leave until every thing was picked up and floor clean. Great job!!

I can say this was one experience where I didn't mind paying money for a difficult job. Universal Plumbing have very respectful and courteous staff. I don't have the words to explain on how superb they are with handling business. They are fast workers and they also clean up any mess. Thanks Universal Plumbing you will be on our advertising board.
