Dishonest. Do not stand by their jobs. Fixed pipes inside the house - for almost $10,000, but conveniently withheld information that fixing inside problem isn't enough, must fix problem outside. Job for almost 10K lasted for a whole week...Then the company gave us estimate for outside job- for $24,000. Called another company for second opinion and problem was solved during 45 min for $249.

Chip from Universal Plumbing just left my daughters home in RO. This young man knows his ""stuff""!!! He snaked the floor drains and the laundry tub drain due to slow drainage. The yuck he pulled out of these drains was disgusting.

I had a million questions for Chip, and he was kind enough to answer every single one. I got quite the education today and am very grateful for Chips patience and doing such an excellent job here. He even cleaned up after he was finished and sprayed disinfectant as well.

I would highly recommend Universal Plumbing. I will ask for Chip if it's a job he can do.

I had water backing up into my basement so I called Universal based on the solid reviews on Yelp. They came out the next morning and unclogged the line, claiming it was wipes that had been flushed down the toilet even though nobody in the house had ever done so, then said that I needed to pay for the $1000 ""hydro jet"" service to make sure that I wouldn't have any more issues and it would get rid of all the wipes (perhaps they had built up from the prior owner) and ""fix any clogging issues for the next 10-15 years"" as they claimed. Ok, great, let's do it. So I get that done and they also recommend some buddies-in-crime to do the clean up (for a cool $2000), which I have them do. Not 6 days later is water backing up into my basement again. I am understandably not pleased, so I call them to voice this and ask them to come out and fix what should have been fixed in the first place. Dawn was extremely unhelpful, claiming that perhaps I had done something in the 6 days that caused the new issue and that there are separate lines and that all they looked at was the main line so I would need to pay for a whole new service for them to come out to look at the other line (why didn't they bother to look at the other lines for problems when they came out the first time?!?!). Instead of being understanding that they never fixed the problem in the first place and trying to rectify this since I just forked over $1000+ to them, believing them when they told me I wouldn't have issues for another 10-15 years, at least, she put the blame on me.

I can emphatically say that you should NEVER hire this company if you want to be treated with respect and want the job done right the first time.

They were great! The guys were very kind and knowledgeable, they were able to figure out the issue quickly and gave me lots of options to choose from to get the problem fixed! When they left they cleaned up after themselves, that was appreciated. Would definitely recommend universal plumbing
