I chose this company because of the great reviews here on yelp. I called to have them come down to inspect and give me a quote. They came on time, friendly, and seem to know their stuff. They had no more estimate papers and asked me whether I wanted them to run to the office and back or to email me. So I told them to email me because I didn't want them to have to drive back over to my house. They told me they would email me the same day or the next day the latest. I've given them three days just to get back to me with an estimate and also left a message on the second day with their receptionist. It was highly disappointing that I haven't even been contacted at all and frustrating. Time to try another plumber who actually wants my business.

My problem stemmed from a leaking pipe coming from one of my upstairs bathrooms. I didn't know exactly where this was coming from, but definitely knew I needed to have this repaired ASAP. I contacted Universal Plumbing and Angel arrived at my house within the hour.
It turns out the leak was coming from a drainage pipe from our upstairs shower. Angel knew exactly where the problem was and was able to solve the issue on site.

I have had to hire other plumbers before for my home (which by the way had horrible plumbing installed in the 70s). I was amazed at how quickly the problem was identified and repaired compared to some of these other guys. I would highly recommend Universal Plumbing if you need reliable, efficient service.

I have used Universal Plumbing twice -- once last year to install a tankless water heater and gas line. And once today, after finding a minor water leak at the base of my toilet. Both experiences with this company were stellar. I worked with Angel and Solomon on both jobs, but all of their workers are fantastic. Booking the appointments were easy (they can be at your house quickly for an emergency or you can schedule a window on another day -- a window they actually stick to! And they give a heads up call to let you know when they'll be arriving.)

They are so professional and really take the time to explain what the problem is, and never try to up-sell you on anything. Their prices are very fair, and they will be honest about whether they consider your problem something you need to get fixed immediately or whether it's minor enough for you to do either make some improvements yourself or wait on it. They care more about keeping loyal customers happy than they do about making $$, because they recognize that loyal happy customers make for a better business.

Im highly recommending universal plumbing! I had a great experience using their company. I needed a toilet replaced, and Andy came out and was more than helpful! He was quick and knew exactly what he was doing. Very trustworthy and honest and he even wore booties to cover his shoes when he came in! Which is nice because I've had other plumbers who just walk into my house with dirty shoes and leave a mess! Definitely recommending universal plumbing for any future plumbing problems.

Terrific plumbers! I've used them twice and both times they were on time, friendly, and efficient!

Reuben was the plumber both times. The first time was a washing machine drainage pipe problem and the second time was a clogged toilet. Reuben and his co-worker diagnosed the problems quickly, explained the cost estimate, and then solved the problem. They were straightforward and really nice to work with.

I will definitely call these guys next time I need a plumber.

This company deserves a five star review because they really did a good job and they have reasonable prices and good people working here. I called this company and within 1 hour they were already at my place. The plumber was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and showed me exactly how and why this issue occurred and how to prevent it from happening again. Good plumber. They came out the same day and evaluated my clogged kitchen sink to see if it was within my unit or outside and part of the common area of our building. Once determined, the plumber unclogged the blockage. Fair price. All in all a good experience. Anyone looking for a good plumber, these guys are just that.

Oscar was awesome! Super kind and courteous. I called and they scheduled someone to come in just a few hours. He arrived early and fixed a clogged disposal in my kitchen sink. Will definitely use these guys again.

I called Universal when we had a sudden low water pressure problem last week and was very pleased with how professional and determined Chris and Leo were to fix the problem.
