I stopped by this afternoon to price out appliances for an entire kitchen and laundry. Store was mostly empty, however no one even approached us. Not a hello, not a can we help you. Staff. just looked at us and then turned away continuing to talk to each other- business must be real good. Fortunately there is an other showroom not too far away that will get my hard earned $$$$

I called and spoke with Christopher on the phone regarding my dilemma of choosing between two different ranges. He helped me and we completed the transaction seamlessly all over the phone.

Me: Hi, I need assistance with a microwave
Them: yes?
Me: I have a ten year old microwave. I need help identifying the current model and whether my existing trim kit will fit
Them: it won't. Go to our website and look up countertop microwaves for information
Me: I did, I selected the model and it said call for pricing
Them: we don't do that, you must be on a competitor site

Morale to the story- I guess a microwave sale isn't interesting. I called pacific sales. They offered to ship to my house or have in their store for pickup the next day. Once there, they helped us measure the existing trim and recommended a small modification and provided the name of somebody to make a custom one if needed.

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I been looking to buy washer, dryer and dishwasher and let me tell you it was hard. All these different place i went did not had what i was looking for or the color i needed, I turned to Universal appliance in Calabasas. Right away my sales person did a research of the model and color i was looking for. I was VERY happy when they told me they had it in stock. Not only that but right away they schedule me for delivery (WHAT!!), great installation their installers are very well train... best and fast customer service. Thank you so much Universal in Calabasas for taking the time to help me. I recommend Universal in Calabasas everyone is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

When I needed a dishwasher and could not find the one I was looking for anywhere else I turned to Universal Appliance in Calabasas. Not only did they have the unit I was looking for but they delivered it to us the next day. I received great customer service and they answered all of my questions and concerns. Unlike other places I had call Universal was very knowledgeable and HELPFUL.. I recommend Universal in Calabasas.

Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center in Calabasas deserves all of the 5 star reviews that they have received on Yelp. For 2 weeks over the holidays I was trying decide which refrigerator would work for the home I work at. Long at Universal Appliance was incredibly helpful and patient. He communicated with me over the phone and email until the day of delivery. When delivery day arrived the service men were excellent! They were completely on point, friendly, and did their job until the it I was completely satisfied. I would highly recommend using this company!!! Cheers!

I want to acknowlege the helpful support i received from Maida Magaña, the Calabasas store Manager.

Maida was extremely accommodating when assisting me and in satisfying my requests with regard to my purchase of an LG Washer and Gas Dryer:
1) She matched Home Depots prices (which were substantially less).
2) When Home Depot dropped their prices even further, 2 weeks after my units had already been delivered and installed, - she extended an additional price adjustment to me, at my request.
I believe this to be a concrete demonstration of the good will UAKC is keen to establish with their customers.

Furthermore - the 2 chaps (direct employees of UAKC, not sub-contractors) who delivered and installed the appliances, were absolutely fastidious in their attention to detail - considerate, careful and precise.
It was a tricky, tight fit - requiring some expert manipulation - both for removal of my old units and stacking of the new ones.
No one could possibly have handled it better.

The entire sales transaction was conducted over the phone - with email follow-up for confirmation of what was agreed.

If you are shopping for appliances - give this neighborhood business the opportunity to make you a satisfied customer. Based upon my experience - I believe Maida will attempt to fulfill any reasonable request.

My range, refrigerator and microwave are all installed and I wanted to say thank you to my sales person, Long and your installation team, Sal & Valentin.

From the first time that I called Universal and spoke with Long, the day I wandered in to browse right up to the day my appliances were installed you provided exceptional customer service! I appreciated your straight forward approach. You provided valuable education and options, but never pressured or pushed.

I visited and called a number of appliance stores, but Universal and specifically, Long, were the only one that I trusted to purchase them from. Universal had the best selection of appliances to see and touch, but it was your approach to finding out what my priorities were and working diligently to find the best solution for me and my family.

I also want to commend your installation crew, Sal & Valentine. They did a great job even though they ran into multiple challenges with my installation. They were professional, helpful, courteous, but most of all they really knew what they were doing. When they ran into a problem with the fit or configuration or..., they knew just how to approach it and patiently provided great solutions. They also were very kind to give me time to clean behind each appliance as it came out before the new one was installed. Last, but not least, they took the utmost care with my home.

Thank you for your help. I am so excited to get cooking with my daughter!
