Adrian was amazing!!!! We needed our electrical panel replaced and upgraded, and he came up with an efficient solution to our uniquely laid out house, while making the panel outside look clean, organized, and efficient. He had outstanding customer service and was willing to explain it to my husband and then again to me in layman terms. He went above and beyond making us feel at ease. He answered questions when he did the bid, before he even began work on our house over the phone, and then while he was working in order to help us understand what was going on. We will be needing additional electrical work done at our house, and we WILL be calling Adrian again. His customer service was outstanding!

Jonathan was amazing! We've gotten other bids, but he was the only person who actually took the time to explain the theory behind what he was doing and clearly explain in simple terms the appropriate solution. I highly commend the exceptional service, work performed and professionalism demonstrated by Art, the certified technician of United Plumbing Heating Air & Electric. What happened was this: as a 74 year old widow with no family, I was more than a little concerned when I lost all electrical power to my home on Sunday evening, 8/7/16. With no ability to use my house phone or computer and without a smart phone, I asked for assistance from my neighbor, Steve, who lives across the street. I felt a sense of urgency as it was unbearably hot inside. Fortunately Steve selected United Electric. Upon making the call and explaining my dilemma, I was assured that a technician would be here in about an hour. Here it was, a Sunday night no less, but Art did in fact arrive right on time. After he thoroughly trouble shooted the main panel, not only was he able to determine exactly what went wrong, but he presented four options as to what could be done. As he showed me evidence of burning inside the unit, I went with his recommendation to replace not only all the breakers, but the Buss Bar as well as that too had been burnt. His original quote was $2,300, but in consideration of my age and circumstances, he reduced his estimate to $1,800. Following an extensive search for the right parts, he arrived the next morning and installed new breakers and a reconditioned Buss Bar - all complete with a seven year warranty. Upon completion of this job, I had him evaluate the sub panel which controls the spa functions. These breakers needed replacing as well; I was quoted $800, and early the next morning he installed reconditioned breakers with a three year warranty. New ones, he explained, would have been prohibitively expensive. I couldn't be more satisfied with the level of service, the professionalism, and the work performed by Art. Art was very thorough and exacting in not only evaluating what needed to be done, but in patiently explaining precisely what was happening and why it was necessary to replace the breakers. (Keep in mind that this is a 39 year old house). Art's demeanor was consistently friendly, courteous, respectful, and focused. In short, as an electrician, he was outstanding. I will not hesitate to hire this company again for any and all electrical work; hopefully Art will be available.

We had an excellent experience with United Plumbing Heating Air & Electric. Our electrician was Art. He was phenomenal. He worked for hours and hours to install landscape lighting and timers all throughout our front yard and our back yard. The lights look terrific. We've received so many compliments about them. Art also installed a new exterior ceiling fan, which cools us off on hot summer days. We could not have asked for someone more helpful and professional than Art. We will certainly call upon this company again when we need house job completed, and we will definitely request that Art come if he is available.

Hired United Plumbing Heating Air & Electric to take a look at our AC unit. Our AC didn't seem to be working properly. On a hot day, our house would eventually lose the battle of staying cool around mid-afternoon. A United technician came out and said we were low on freon. He thought this was strange since our AC unit was only 6 years old. He replenished our freon at a cost of hundreds of dollars. After a few months, the problem returned. We called a different AC company. The technician told us we had a leak in our line, which is why we were losing freon. We had the line replaced at replenished the freon again (again at a cost of hundreds of dollars). The technician who fixed the leak diagnosed the problem pretty quickly.

When I called United to let them know they misdiagnosed our problem, the manager I spoke with denied any responsibility, claiming there's no way of proving the leak existed when they came out. It seemed blatantly obvious to me.

Reading other reviews I found discovered this is not the first time this has happened. They have done this to other customers. I guess they hope they can keep coming back every 6 months to refill freon and gouge customers without ever fixing the problem.

United's mistake cost me hundreds of dollars in wasted freon, and hundreds of dollars more because my AC system was working harder and longer to make up for the fact that it was impaired by leaking freon. I will never use United Plumbing Heating Air & Electric again.

My house now cools beautifully even on the hottest days.

I called United yesterday to see if they could fix some electrical issues I was having. I am so glad I did. Artin came by within two hours and we went through all the issues I was having and actually gave me some options to make sure my electrical system was top notch. The quality of work Artin did is superior by far to what you would get from an average electrician. I will have him back to work on on my house the next time anything is needed.
