After much research, we decided to purchase a new unit with Unique. The price was higher, but according to the reviews, and the additional features, it was worth the small fortune of $8,500. As we spoke with the salesman, we expressed the importance of a good unit as I am going thru chemotherapy and must be comfortable. The install was immediate, but we have had 10 service calls in the short 2 months of installation as the unit is not working. A so called brand new unit has needed 2 parts replaced, and then the other excuses why the unit is not working. Yes, the customer service will send a technician out the same day, but whats that worth if our home is still 80 degrees when they leave? I have requested for a new unit to be installed, as I feel that I have not received what I paid for and they don't hear those words. Once again, I will be calling them in the morning. I am completely disgusted as it seems this company cares more about the dollar bill than my comfort during horrible time in my life. I am not asking this company for anything more than i paid for. But it seems that I cant even have that.
we had Zack from Unique service at our home today; he was very professional, courteous and explained everything he was doing during the service call. we also had Quinn from Unique at our home later on today to provide us with an estimate for a new central unit. Total rip off company, they charged me over $400 to replace a blower motor on a 6 year old system.
Horrible company. Mistreated after 16 years of loyal service. Rude tech named Austin in Dec. walked out of the unit saying we did not have a contract then manager sent Odie who was awesome and fixed problem covered under contract. Manager said $80 bill would be credited. Today 3/12/16 we called for service and they said we have a credit hold for $80 and they cannot help up us until Monday. Asked for them to call management Jessica Yawn would not help or take a credit card to send someone over Is this customer service? I am in the service industry and we would not get away with this response.... Shame on Unique to treat a 16 year loyal customer like this who has paid them lots of money for AC units, plumbing projects, maintenance, etc. Thanks to Sarah who tried to help and shame on management and customer service skills!
Kathleen J.I had a new ac unit installed last week. The installation technician Jerry was very pleasent and knowledgeable. He was very clean and a hard worker.
They deserve zero stars from me. Had a unit installed two years ago by them. They came out Nov for a leak and replaced evaporator coil. A week later the blower motor needed to be replaced now three weeks later same issue. I called on Fri 12/25 wanted to charge me over 100 to come fix it or I could wait til first thing Saturday. I choose to wait. Get a call need to set up a time either 12-4 or 2-6 I choose 2-6. Mind you i was told I was first on the list. Tech shows up at 6 pm with no part and will put in Monday morning or I can pay another $150 for a temporary blower. I am not in a position to waste money like this. I say no to the temporary motor..No techician showed until now -monday the 28th at 3 pm when my appt was 10-2. Mind you I had to take a whole days pay off AGAIN to sit and wait for them. They say they will call 20 mins prior but in the past they just show up or give you a two min warning they are on their way so working 45 mins from the house doesn't work out especially when they have in the past given me a two min warning. I have put in three calls now for the manager and have not gotten any calls back in two days. Very disappointed purchasing an a/c unit from them and paying them an additional $15 a month for their gold plan what is that actually getting me? Someone needs to make this right!

Bruce M.A company is only as good as its employees. We only see the technicians and form a judgement based on the quality and thoroughness of the completed project. I have dealt with Unique Air for 15 years, most of which have been positive. Today, a technician, Ray, was assigned to service our two A/C systems. During his work Ray would point out what he did to the system, what should be done to enhance to system, and his recommendation as to the pros and cons of each issue he discovered. We discussed the condition of each system, the cost to change out a piece of the system. I learned more about the insides of air handlers and condenser units from Ray than I had not known. I wish that I had more time to expand on today's experience so I'll close by stating that Ray is the best technician, teacher that Unique has sent me and is on a par with one other technician, John, now retired that I always requested.
They are ABSOLUTELY unprofessional! Had us waiting for an entire day to get technician to check ac! 11-4 then 5:20 then 6-10 then nothing! Had to give 6 people the same info over 8 hrs and apparently some of them are dyslexic cause address was wrong and meme too! Do not wait on them get someone else! NOT COOL!
