Called Unique for emergency repair. Two-three calls later they promised to come out, told me there was one job ahead of us. Waited up until almost 1am, no show, no call. Its now almost 24 hours later, no follow up.

I scheduled my preventative maintenance a month ahead of time. The time was from 12-4. At 3 they called to say they couldn't come. I am leaving town and I insisted they come. The person said they could come between 6-9 in a tone that suggested they were doing me a favor. This is the second time this has happened. There have also been other issues. I am locked in because of a warranty. This is a warning not to use Unique.

Total rip off company, they charged me over $400 to replace a blower motor on a 6 year old system.

called Feb. 26 to have air service cleaning. I got scheduled March 7 fri. They charge $20 every month for service...so i was ok with that. Very disappointed they charge me for the month of Feb but the first service is done in March 7, they charge me twice Month of Feb and March... Secondly I have another service done to check the air quality of my condo paid $199 the set everything up, leave the device for 3 days after 3 days that technician came to pick up the device to test it.. The technician said I will get the result in 3 days. Its been to weeks have passed never heard form Unique Air,, so I called again and ask for the result.The lady that i talked to said we'll send a technician over... The Technician came 8:30 in the morning was sick that day i have to go to the doctor for check up met him in the parking lot and he said he will be back between 3 to 5pm nobody showed up.Went out for dinner at 6pm.He showed up late so we missed him..I wasn't happy with their service so i called and asked for a refund for the $20 they charged me for the month of Feb and of course $199 for air quality check .. they said they won't give me a refund or even a discount for the delayed result of the air cleaning test..So I cancelled the services from them after 2 weeks April 25 they charged me $20 i have already canceled the service don't want their service anymore..so I called again to ask for a refund customer service is playing games they said they will call me back that's a shame this company is a big """"SHAME"""".This Company don't care about thier customers no respect at all..What happen to me is a RIPOFF""""..I Hope my review will be helpfull to all the consumer who are planning to use Unique Air in the future.... I wish I could leave a zero star review but that is not an option. I bought two identical Daikin air conditioners for my duplex on the exact same day eight years ago. I was told that I would have a 12 year parts and labor warranty on these units. The back unit has not had a single issue the front unit I think every single thing has been replaced from motors to condensers to capacitors to fuses to fans on this unit. The most recent thing that happened was my air went out and they came out in the last week and a half five times for the same issue and still could not fix it. I was told after the fifth time that they had to order part that was back ordered for 2 to 6 weeks. I said you certainly do not want me to be without air-conditioning for that long what can you do for me. The service guy said there was nothing he could do but I could talk to a supervisor so I called the supervisor and spoke to Kevin. I told Kevin that this is been a lemon unit and they have continually come out and replaced everything over the life of the unit and they should just pull the unit and give me a new one. He told me that that would not be happening and that the best they could do was to sell me another unit at a discount. I told him this unit has a 12 year warranty And I was told that I should wait for the part then. I asked him if they could supply a temporary air conditioner and he told me that they do have some but they might all be gone but he assured me he would call me the next morning and I still have not heard from him. please do not get involved with these people and save yourself a lot of headaches. I hardly ever write reviews unless I get exceptional service and then I want to make sure that the person that gave me the exceptional service is aware that I noticed. I think I have written two or three bad reviews in my life but this one certainly deserves a bad review.

I went through Home Depot when my AC quit working in june of 2019, they sent out a lady from Unique Services and I made a deal with them to install a new Hot Water Heater at the same time as the complete AC unit...I live in a studio unit about 560 Sq feet,,The charges the quoted was 5400 dollars and the needed half down...I paid them the 2700 down and told them I would not pay another dime until it was completely and worked like it should..., they installed an off brand system and a Rheem hot water heater....The hot water installer did a good job and I am happy with it...The AC crew was awful, and the customer service was and still is worse...I had everything in writing and glad i did...as part of the package I was to get two new breakers and a nest thermostat...they had the thermostat with them but could not install it...after two days working on the AC installation they claimed they had to order the breakers and would hook up the Thermostat later...I was informed it would take about a week to get the breakers and four day later they called and said they had the breakers, they sent the same person back out that could not install the Thermostat the first time and he couldn't install it the second time either...i asked him how he got the new breakers so fast and he told me they were at the warehouse... I looked at them and took pictures because I could see they were used...I told him I would not except the used breakers and he left. I took pictures of them and went to Home Depot and one of the employees there found nine new ones on the shelf...I do not like to deal with anyone that lies to me and once I catch them I no longer trust them to do anything..It took months to get the inspectors out to check the installation, it failed twice and the third time no electrical inspector showed up..Half way into winter I had no heat, they finally sent someone out to fix it and he hooked up the Nest Thermostat...It never worked right and neither has the AC, I called several times and complained to both Unique and Home Depot I told them to take the system out and I would have a reputable company install one that works...they have not called and will no longer take my calls, my AC system has never worked properly and I now have to pay another company to come out the see what Unique screwed up... I am going to file a civil suit on both Unique and Home Depot this week and force them to take this worthless POS out of my house...it only cools down about half of my small Condo and the humidity is worse inside than it is out I highly recommend anyone that even thinks about using this Company to go elswhere...It is the worst company I have ever been involved with

Worst ripoff we have ever experienced. A leak in a line and they charged almost $1700 to seal it off. I could have done what he did for $20. Done it before, but I was working long hours. I would undertand a few hundred bucks on this job, but this was rediculous. My wife had called them while I was at work when our ac went out. When we called about expenses this bloated ego manager began talking over the speakerphone like he knew everything and we were stupid on how an ac works. He actually made himself sound like a bullying idiot just wanting paid for being bothered on the phone. We lost all confidence in this bunch. We have asked for a itemized bill and they refuse to give one. He wanted business in my area he explained, but my area is on a neighborhood network board and chances are he is out of luck around here. Yes, Jim Brown, from other reviews, talking to you leads to more BS. BBB might be next on our list. Might tell the woman that works there that when someone asks for an itemized receiept you oblige the customer.

I really don't like to take time to write a review but when I do they are typically for positive reasons. I feel obligated, though, to say that if you're thinking about getting a new ac system or even have service done on your existing system, do yourself a huge favor and stay away from Unique Services. I can't believe I did it but I let the roving sales woman at Home Depot corral me into letting a Unique rep come to my house to give me an estimate on anew ac unit and basically put heavy pressure on me to sign a contract that day to get the special pricing. I can't believe I went for it. I'm still kicking myself for letting their rep talk me into getting a system without having other companies give competing bids. Anyway right from the start I wasn't happy with the company. The installers we're not professional and left my garage a mess. The unit which is now 4 years old has already had several issues and had to have the sanitizing light fixture replaced and a condensation pan reworked because water was dripping all over the garage floor. There have been other issues but what really made me dislike this company happened yesterday. I had a Unique rep out yesterday for routine maintenance. He was not friendly at all. Not professional in any way. He said the system was low on coolant and had to run a test which took maybe 15 minutes at best and cost me $240. Outrageous. So the test revealed that the evaporator coil had a leak. It's under warranty and needs to be replaced. So I paid $240 for a test to determine a leak that is the fault of a part that is still under warrantee. That's total BS. If the part had not been defective I wouldn't need to be way overcharged for a test that wouldn't be necessary if the part worked as it should. He then said he would replace 3 lbs of coolant that the warranteed coli leaked documents another $600! Are you F'ing kidding me! so the original unit at our house was installed by Tri County and serviced by them. Last year I had a unit installed in a rental house I own by Badger Bobs. The original unit in that house was installed and serviced by AC Warehouse. All three of those companies were far superior to Unique and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of those three. Unique will sell you an inferior product and do their best to rip you off when it starts to fail. The final kicker is that after they left yesterday it took 4 hours for the house to cool from 77 to 76 and another three to get to 75. Awful.

I'm a long time Unique Air customer, from new unit installation to ten years of maintenance agreement. My current maintenance agreement costs $120 annually. I received a letter outlining their new 'Pros Club' plan. It clearly stated, and I quote """"if you would like to continue with your current Home Service Plan instead, please call our office to renew your plan: 941,,,,,"""" Calling their office, I was told my current plan could not be renewed and I would have to 'go Pro'. It would nearly DOUBLE my annual fee. Classic BAIT and SWITCH.

This company, is very unreliable. They don't keep their appointments. When I called to inquiry, I was put on hold to being hanged up on. SMH! unfortunately, since I moved here, in this part of the state, that is the kind of treatment i've been receiving form a lot of other companies.
