DO NOT BUY FROM UNIQUE! My husband and I spent $6200 on a new system for our home. The faulty install caused thousands of dollars in water damage in our home and possible mold growth. The unit failed mechanical inspection and the company is totally non-responsive. Save yourself a major disappointment and pick a different company. Continuation...so today we called Unique and asked for this elusive Jessica. First the receptionist told us she was out of the office. Then she slipped and told us she was on the phone. When I caught her mistake, she laughed at me. Unfortunately, I do not feel like this is funny. A failed inspection, $3500 of damage, and possible mold growth aren't funny to my family. This company is a joke, their customer service promises are all talk. We have talked to corporate, we have talked to the Bradenton office, we have texted our sales representative. Nobody cares, they have our money and that's their bottom line. We'e been waiting for a call from Jessica, the customer service manager for 3 weeks.....

I was given this company from home Depot. I'm sorry to tell you about this terrible experience. I scheduled a maintenance appointment. The guy was pressuring me into buying a new AC. I told him my AC is working fine so the only way I'd call you back, is if you sabotage my air conditioner. The look on his face was no a good one. .I asked if he did something to cause me to call him back. He said oh I would never do that. ..""""RIGHT"""" A few weeks later my AC started to stay on longer and longer and the house was not holding it's temperature. I realize then, that was exactly what was done to me. I would never use this company again. I would never recommend this company and I intend to make a full report to Home Depot about what was done to me. I am 74 years young and for three days I have been suffering with no AC. Beware of this company taking advantage of you.

Made an appt for noon-5. Had to reschedule at 4:30. Made second appt and they never showed. We were promised first appt the next day and for that third appt, they never showed. When we called mid-morning we were told they would get back to us to let us know what was happening. You guessed it, they never called. Don't bother with this company. They obviously don't care about potential customers.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!! Incompetent beyong belief!! I scheduled an appt for 3 PM yesterday. (To get a quote for a new unit) At 9 am they call to let me know that the rep can't make it to our """"2:00 appt"""". I said that's fine because it's a 3:00 appt, not 2:00. They said well he can't come till 4:00 bcz he comes in at 3:30 and has to train someone. What???! I relent and say OK, 4:00 it is. (But why did they schedule a 3:00 (or 2:00 per their records) if he doesn't even come in till 3:30??). And wait...what?....you're going to inconvenience a customer to train someone for a half hour?? Wow!! I wasn't home and had to travel 45 minutes to be there for the 4:00 appt. Well...4:15 and no show, no call, NOTHING!! I call them...they say """"Kevin"""" the rep is out on a call in Plant City and can't come to me till 6 PM! What????! I said"""" was someone going to call and let me know? And wait....I thought he couldn't come till 4 bcz he comes in at 3:30 and has to train someone....but now he's at a call in Plant City that is running longer than expected. Fine. 6:00 then. So at 5:30, Ivan calls to tell me Kevin is leaving now and should be to my place at 6. Kevin arrives...apologizes saying he was at an elderly woman's house and she didn't understand anything. Great! Bash elderly people now. He was like a used car salesman, slick, trying to upsell me. I asked about the 0% financing. He said it's only good for 1 to 2 year financing but for 3 to 5 years, he would have to charge me interest of 4 to 5%. He crunched all the numbers and I asked what about your buy back plan. He said it's only $400 off. I asked what about all my inconvenience for my ONLY day off this week. He said he will work the numbers and throw something extra special in and email me everything later in the evening. Fine. I gave him my email address, he read it back. I never heard from him! LIARS, CHEATS, THIEVES, CON ARTISTS WHO PUT DOWN ELDERLY PEOPLE! Don't do business with Unique Air. By the way...shortly after Kevin left I heard their commercial saying 0% financing up to 5 years. MORE LIES!!!!! Bait and Switch!!

I would avoid this company. From the first phone call to them I should have known. I set up a tune up through home depot. Unique services took 20 minutes on the phone to get additional information and still had the schedule wrong. Once the tech did get here, he told me he could not do a diagnostic and a tune up on the same call, so I had to pay for the diagnostic. The compressor is bad, but still under warranty, he wanted me to pay $800 to replace a compressor, I told him I purchased an entire unit for $1300 at my previous home. He basically told me I was a liar and started telling me I would not get a compressor installed for less than that. I paid him for the call and asked him to leave, he became argumentative and rude. No way would I use this service again and I will get the AC repaired for much less than what he was trying to rip me off for.

Had them do complete new AC systems & duct work at 2 houses, spent over $40,000 and neither system was replaced correctly. We have had repeat problems at both locations.

After spend more than $5K in a new duct for the AC this guys never came back to fix some damages, more than 35 days since the original install!! they don't address the issue and County Inspection FAIL the work! This expense was NOT a little and this was hire through Home Depot, and a License Company. Not through a mail flyer, etc. ( for example ) The Unique sales person ( Joe ) is not answer any messages! nor asking us If the job was done right, or if is any issues during the installation or after. Disappear!!! How you feel save and trust a company If they left the job like this? the Job fail by County!!! Never get back to me in order to fix and get a new inspection ??? Sales person Don't follow up a work. And the worse..... they Disappear after installation!!! See pictures.... speak by themselves!

I have had a maintenance contract with Unique air for many years. I purchased my air conditioner from them. This year, the price for gold maintenance contract what is $15 a month or $199 a year . I asked why and they told me it was more paperwork. I don't understand that at all. Don't they have to send a bill to renew the contract anyway? It any rate I will not be renewing my maintenance contract and I will use another air conditioning company

My brother needed to help my elderly mother with her A/C repair and called Unique Services. They were prompt, professional, courteous to our mom and cleaned up after themselves. We now have an A/C go- to guy for our mom we can trust as we live out of state. Anthony Dinardo was so helpful and completely fixed her issues. 5 stars!!!
