So had problem with tankless water heater, kept shutting off and couldn't get it back on. It is 10 years old. They said 10 years is the average lifespan, and to replace it was $4000. I had them service it yesterday instead.
Last night went out again, but there was a code on the box. Norm researched it and found the problem.
They came this morning first thing, fixed it for no charge! They did charge $350 to flush it out, which is
Needed every 2 years anyway.
Was very happy with their timely service (since I had no hot water for 24 hours). They did me right! I'd use them again!

Shelby is so efficient and the easiest person I've ever worked with, I could not have asked for a better customer service all around. Norm is an excellent plumber with phenomenal knowledge of his field. Would recommend them to absolutely anyone.
They're honest, quick and efficient!

Posting a second review as a follow-up to the other. Shelby, or someone who is supposedly the owner's daughter who answers the phone, is one of the rudest without any reason people I have ever encountered. In hindsight, Norm is too for calling either me or the landlord an idiot after calling to question a bill. Totally unprofessional.

What an awesome crew of plumbers. Had issues with a previous plumbing service via home warranty 2 days ago. Was recommended to call troutwine from our painters.
They came immediately same day and fixed what the previous plumbers screwed up.

Called them again 2 days later for more work. Squeezed me in the next day.

Great prices, great service.
Just getting ready to move into the house, troutwine installed every appliance/ toilets quick and efficient.
You guys got a lifetime customer here.

Thank you guys!

Many have said that the only thing worst than a plumbing problem is the dentist! Well, I have got to tell you that Norm and his team relieve the pain! Strangest thing was we had ants in the kitchen. Looked behind the dishwasher to find the trail. Pulled out the dishwasher to find mold and after removing the drywall, a broken pipe. We called Troutwine from a referral. Norm came out within a day and his team came back on the next day (which was a Saturday). They fixed everything in less than 24 hours on a weekend and charged less than the original quote because we did not have the expected damage. How would I know? They could have charged me the original estimate. That is how honest and hard working they are. Please, do yourself a favor and call Troutwine with any plumbing issue. My experience was better than I could have imagined! Give them a try.

I had a broken sewer hole in our pipe. I had one plumber come out and he first grossly over-estimated the cost of what need to be done and then I found him out front, (our situation was in the back,) putting a camera snake down to show me roots in the line then continued to add on little items to job that was not needed, and then on top of that tried pressuring me to start the work. He was going to bill me $7,500. I knew they were jacking me off with inflated pricing. I called Troutwine Plumbing through another reference. They came out, assessed the situation then told me what I really needed. They didn't keep adding un-necessary items to jack up the work, and honestly told me what I needed.
The crew was very friendly, did the work as promised and were up-front with the amount.
If I need any other plumbing work, they are my first call.

Norm and his team do great work at a fair price and work with the customers schedule to make sure the customer is happy. I called them out for an issue that should have been fixed with a new regulator. After they installed it, I called them to come back out as our issue was not resolved. They came right back out within one week and when the first truck with two technicians were unable to fix it, Norm showed up in a separate truck. They were at my house for over an hour and a half and diagnosed the issue to be something that DWP needed to address. They didn't charge me for the second visit which is unheard of. Having dealt with tradesmen for decades, this was a first for me. I will only deal with them for any plumbing issue going forward.

in 2011 Troutwine replaced a sewer ejector pump with a Zoeller 267, list price $430, their price $750 plus labor. In July 2019 Troutwine replaced that pump with a Liberty pump, total cost about $1400 (I can't find the receipt). Last week it stopped working so Troutwine pulls the pump out and tell me they need to replace it with a Zoeller because Liberty grinder have plastic grinder blades and Zoeller steel. The guys call Norm and tell him what is going on. Norm says the pump only has one year warranty, Liberty says their pumps have a 3 year warrant. He tells his guys replacement will cost a staggering $2400! I decline thinking I'm going do the job myself. So I found a new Zoeller pump for $550, but I thought I'd better take a look at the old pump. I put on a bench, plugged in, lifted the float, the motor ran but the (STAINLESS STEEL) grinder blade was binding. I took the blade off, tested the motor again no problem. After putting a washer under the blade I checked the pump and it runs perfectly. That repair took less than 10 minutes. I reinstalled the old Liberty pump in about 1 hour. Installing a new pump would have taken another 30 minutes.
They lied about Liberty pump grinders being plastic they're stainless steel, didn't bother to look at the intake to see if there was an obvious problem and then tried to stick to me . Was the new pump going to be gold plated?

Guy comes over to fix leaky faucets ( bathroom and kitchen) set up through our property manager. Comes checks things out for a bid. Comes back with the cheapest faucets he could find. Put it all in while i was at work. Bathroom- takes out the old. Puts in this cheap piece of shit that will probly leak in a year and doesnt bother to even whip off the sink from the old ring. Just installs the new one rite on top. Kitchen- takes out old faucet with sprayer puts in another cheap piece of shit and that is loose and clanges around and takes our sprayer away. Neither one even has a name brand on it. One step above plastic covered chrome. No consideration that we like having a sprayer. Now left with garbage that i will replace on my own. Took advantage of the property company and my girlfriend. Im not a plumber but i will have to do a better job on my own. Its not hard sir!!I what is hard to find is people who care anymore. These guys are not ones either.

Alen B came out the same day and fixed my leak very quickly!! He located a part we needed and even though it was late in the day, he got the plumbing supply company (that was closing for the night) to leave it so he could pick it up. Another plumbing company I had tried to have fix my leak wasn't able to do it for several weeks. Alen was very knowledgeable about our plumbing issues and went above and beyond to make sure our water didn't have to be turned off over night. Thank you Alen B! We will definitely be calling you again next time we have a plumbing issue!
